DFS Alerts
Leonard Fournette (hamstring) active Sunday
Leonard Fournette is officially active Sunday, and will see his first action since week 1. It is unclear if Fournette is in line for his usual allotment of carries or if the Jags will be cautious as they ease him back in, but look for Fournette to once again be the focal point of this Jaguars offense assuming he can handle the workload.
Blaine Gabbert (concussion) inactive Sunday
Blaine Gabbert will be inactive Sunday due to a concussion. Marcus Mariota will start and handle all QB reps (barring injury) for the Titans.
DeVante Parker (quad) inactive Sunday
DeVante Parker is inactive Sunday due to a quad injury. Look for Kenny Stills to be the primary receiving option for this Dolphins passing attack in Parker’s absence.
Josh Gordon is active Sunday, will make Patriots debut
Per the earlier report, Josh Gordon is active Sunday and will make his Patriots debut.
Eagles RB Corey Clement is inactive Sunday
Eagles RB Corey Clement is inactive Sunday due to a quad injury. Clement got a lot of run last week in Jay Ajayi’s absence, but is now out of commission himself with Ajayi returning. Look for Wendell Smallwood to serve as the primary backup and change of pace back for Ajayi this week with both Clement and Darren Sproles inactive.
Randall Cobb (hamstring) inactive Sunday
Randall Cobb is officially inactive Sunday due to his hamstring injury. Marquez Valdes-Scantling is expected to start in his place, but Geronimo Allison and Jimmy Graham figure to be the primary beneficiaries of Cobb’s absence.
LeSean McCoy (ribs) active Sunday
LeSean McCoy is officially active Sunday for the Bills’ matchup against Green Bay. The Bills offense is still not one to be trusted for fantasy production and it is unclear if McCoy will get a full workload given his injury, so McCoy doesn’t shape up as a strong DFS option for week 4.
Golden Tate (hip) will play Sunday
Golden Tate will be active Sunday despite being listed as questionable with a hip injury. Look for the trio of Tate, Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones to see the majority of targets from Stafford this afternoon against the Cowboys.
Mike Glennon will back up Josh Rosen Sunday
This is worth noting simply because it won’t be Sam Bradford, who started weeks 1-3 for the Cardinals. Josh Rosen will be making his first NFL start today against the Seahawks.
Patriots TE Jacob Hollister (chest) inactive Sunday
Jacob Hollister will be inactive Sunday due to a chest injury. Hollister isn’t a high-impact fantasy asset, but this ensures Gronkowski will see all of the TE targets for this New England offense.
Ronald Jones expected to be active Sunday
After being a healthy scratch weeks 1-3, Ronald Jones appears set to make his NFL debut this week for the Bucs against the Bears. It is a tough matchup for the rookie’s first NFL action, but Peyton Barber hasn’t exactly been an impact player in Jones’s absence. Keep an eye on Jones’s workload to determine if he is a player worth rostering in future weeks in better match-ups.
Alshon Jeffery will play Sunday
Updating a previous report, it appears Alshon Jeffrey will make his season debut Sunday against the Titans. While it is unclear if Jeffrey will be in for his normal workload, look for him to make an immediate impact on the Eagles offense. Jeffrey being active is a boost to Carson Wentz, while it suggests a downtick in production for Nelson Agholar and Zach Ertz.
Terrance Williams inactive Sunday, Brice Butler active for the Cowboys
Terrance Williams is expected to be inactive Sunday, while Brice Butler will be active for the Cowboys receiving corps. No Cowboys WR has shown themselves to be a viable DFS option, and today against the Lions shapes up to be nothing different – expect a full workload from Zeke, and sporadic use of the rest of the Cowboys offensive weapons.
Other tagged players: Brice ButlerRob Gronkowski (ankle) will play Sunday, as expected.
Despite being limited in practice this week with an ankle injury, Rob Gronkowski will play Sunday, as expected. Look for him and the rest of the Patriots offense to get back on track today in this matchup against the Dolphins. Gronkowski is always a premier tight end option on any slate simply due to his guaranteed workload and unique upside in the passing game, and will be a popular play as always across the industry this week.
Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) will play Sunday
Larry Fitzgerald will play Sunday, though it is worth noting that he is reportedly “nowhere near 100%” heading into the matchup against Seattle due to a hamstring injury. A hobbled Fitzgerald isn’t going to make rookie QB Josh Rosen’s debut as a starter any easier – at this point it is probably best to fade the Cardinals offense as a whole until their star wide receiver is healthy and we see what Rosen can do.
