You may recognize Derek Carty from his role on Baseball Tonight, his articles at ESPN.com, or his occasional SportsCenter appearances. He’s also been published by FOX Sports, Sports Illustrated, NBC’s Rotoworld, FanDuel, and Fantasy Insiders, among many others. He’s a long-time DFS player and the creator of THE BAT and THE BLITZ, perhaps the most sophisticated DFS projection systems on the market. Prior to DFS, Derek honed his statistical chops as the Fantasy Manager of two of the biggest sabermetric outlets, Baseball Prospectus and The Hardball Times (now the nerdier branch of FanGraphs — yes, that’s a thing), and holds an elite track record in year-long expert leagues (6 titles while finishing top-3 over 50% of the time). He’s also the only active fantasy writer to have graduated from MLB’s exclusive Scout School, which he blends with his statistical background to form a complete picture of a player.

Chris Prince, aka Beermakersfan, has been playing fantasy sports for over twenty years and has been playing daily fantasy since the early days in 2009 making him one of the true “OGs” of the DFS industry. He was one of the first winners of a major live final, taking down the 2011 FanDuel Fantasy Football Championship which led to numerous appearances on FanDuel commercials and magazine ads. Still a top DFS player, he can be found on RotoGrinders columns, podcasts, videos, and GrindersLive shows providing expert analysis. Born and raised in Wisconsin, Chris now lives in the Detroit area where he is a full time family man with a beautiful wife and three young daughters. Eric Crain, aka jakz101 , is a former professional poker player who started playing DFS full time in October of 2015. He has qualified multiple times for live finals and is routinely ranked at the top of all the major sport leaderboards. Perhaps his biggest claim to fame is when he won the DraftKings NFL Millionaire Maker in October of 2016 (as well as finishing 3rd and 4th). One of the preeminent baseball minds in all of fantasy, Dave Potts, aka CheeseIsGood, has won contests at the highest levels of both season-long and DFS. He is a two-time winner of a million dollar first place prize in DFS; having won the 2014 FanDuel baseball live final and following that up by taking down a DraftKings Millionare Maker Tournament in 2015. In addition, he’s won the Main Event championship in the National Fantasy Baseball Championship and the NFBC Platinum League, which is the highest buy-in entry league. His consistent success in the NFBC tournaments recently earned him a prestigious spot in their Hall of Fame.
