Defensive Efficiency: 100.2 (3 of 30)
Rebounding Differential: -0.7 (18 of 30)
Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game: 194.7 (7 of 30)

Indiana has been a solid defensive squad this year and are ranked in the top ten in points allowed, defensive efficiency and fantasy points allowed. Brooklyn has been long eliminated from the playoff race, which has allowed some of their younger players to get more minutes to finish off the season.

Elite Plays

Thomas Robinson

His price has risen dramatically as it should have with his recent play. Robinson should continue to see 30+ minutes in contests going forward and is putting up some huge numbers including 17 rebounds against Charlotte on Friday. He now needs about 35 fantasy points to pay off his price, which he has done in four of his last six games.

The Pacers are still fighting for a playoff spot these last few games of the season as the Bulls continue to help them along getting that eighth spot. A win today against the lowly Nets will clinch it for them meaning we could see the starters play full minutes. On the other hand, it is the Nets, which means this game could get out of hand early and the starters could see some rest. These are the type of factors that have been facing DFS NBA the last week or so and will continue the last few days of the season.

Elite Plays

Paul George

While he didn’t practice yesterday, he is fully expected to play today. As one of the teams that is still battling to get into the playoffs and after a horrible loss to Toronto who was resting starters, George could come out firing on all cylinders in order to win today and get some rest in the final few games of the season.

The Magic have been out of the playoffs for some time, but are playing very well right now on their way to a 5-2 stretch. They now get the defensively sound Heat squad that is battling for playoff positioning to try to get a top four finish. These two teams battled on Friday in what was a high scoring game, while the Heat are nine point favorites in this matchup at home. Victor Oladipo looks to be sitting for this game. If he does sit, Evan Fournier would become an option in a tough matchup as well as Elfrid Payton who would get a huge bump in usage.

Elite Plays

Nikola Vucevic

Entering the starting lineup did Vucevic good as he put up a huge stat line in 35 minutes against the Heat. The key stat shown was that 35 minutes that he was allowed to play and the 42.7 fantasy points he put up during it. He should see similar numbers again today as he tries to end the season on a high note.

FD — $8,100 — C
DK — $7,600 — C

Secondary Plays

If Oladipo is out, Evan Fournier would become a solid secondary option after coming off a very good game against this Heat squad with Oladipo on the floor as well as Elfrid Payton who would get a huge bump in usage.

Miami

Orlando Magic Defense
Points Allowed Per Game: 103.3 (18 of 30)
Defensive Efficiency: 104.2 (16 of 30)
Rebounding Differential: -0.5 (14 of 30)
Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game: 202.5 (20 of 30)

The Heat cannot be too happy about losing on Friday in a game that could have given them home court for the first round. They will have to continue to battle for that spot today. They have a projected team total of 109.5, which is 9.6 points higher than their season average.

Elite Plays

Hassan Whiteside

Whiteside draws a favorable matchup against the inside defense of the Magic. He has huge upside anytime he takes the floor as we have seen before and the Heat would love to see another one today. He is a slightly better play on Fanduel where he is not so much more expensive than other centers as opposed to Draftkings where you can get Vucevic for a full $1100 less.

The game that is on everyone’s radar today is the Spurs versus the Warriors. The NBA could not be happier as the Warriors want the season record for wins, while the Spurs could go undefeated at home. The big problem here is Popovic and Kerr, yet Vegas does not buy into anyone sitting as the Spurs are 5.5 point favorites with an overall total of 205.

Elite Plays

Stephen Curry

It is hard not to like Curry in a game where the Warriors are actually expected to lose according to the oddsmakers. These young guys have said they want to hit the record, but the only thing getting in the way would be an off start and Kerr resting some guys down the stretch. I don’t exactly see that happening, but the chance is always there. Instead, I think we see a very good and close game and if that is the case, Curry could go off big time. The other risk factor is Curry has only averaged about 44 fantasy points in three contests against the Spurs, but he is still one of the better tournament plays on the board.

Secondary Plays

Draymond Green

Green is the most open about his feelings on getting the record and has backed up his emotions with a solid run of games lately. He has not scored under 30 fantasy points in his last ten games and that should continue today against the Spurs.

As the Spurs look to make history of their own today, we have not gotten any reports yet of players sitting or Pop’s intention other than the fact that the Vegas line is out, which usually means it’s a full go. Again, please check the news throughout the day as it could change quickly, which would change the value of the players on both sides of this game tremendously. I am going to write this up assuming players are a full go.

Elite Plays

Kawhi Leonard

Leonard will be asked to have a big game today if the Spurs want to have a chance at beating the Warriors at home. He did not have the best game on Thursday against them as he only put up 29 fantasy points, but after resting on Friday, he should come up firing here making him a solid play.

Secondary Plays

LaMarcus Aldridge

While they are favorites in this game, I really don’t love the Spurs players. The other player I do like is Aldridge who at times has been very solid for the Spurs. There is some risk attached as he only put up 19.6 fantasy points on Thursday against the Warriors, but like Leonard, he rested on Friday and should be ready to go in what could be a great, close matchup.

Toronto is locked into the playoffs and was given a chance to rest their big name players on Friday. It did not matter as they were able to squeak out a win against the Pacers in that matchup. It is not clear what they are going to do today, but Vegas does have them as just slight favorites, which makes me think someone will rest. Keep an eye on the news as if they rest both Lowry and DeRozan again, Cory Joseph and Normal Powell would get solid bumps and would be some of the better value plays on the board.

Defensive Efficiency: 102.8 (11 of 30)
Rebounding Differential: 2.4 (7 of 30)
Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game: 190.6 (5 of 30)

The Knicks are another team battling injuries and just trying to get to the finish line in what was another bad season for Anthony and New York. They have a low projected team total in this game of 95.8, which is three points lower than their season average. Kristaps Porzingis looks doubtful to play today along with Jose Calderon. If Calderon continues to be out, Jerian Grant would be a decent value play at the point guard position.

Elite Plays

None

Secondary Plays

Derrick Williams

With Anthony not playing his full compliment of minutes lately and Porzingis out, Williams has turned in solid performances. He continues to be cheap and should play close to 30 minutes again today.
