Week 4 Fantasy Football Quarterback Rankings

Through three weeks of the NFL Season, I’ve said throughout each Fantasy Football QB Rankings article that the Top 4 on the list would likely always be variations of the same players, just in a different order. Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins’ offense are working really hard to change that. Although Tua doesn’t quite crack the barrier in the Week 4 Fantasy Football Quarterback Rankings, he’s awfully close after a 70-point barrage on the Denver Broncos. He’ll be there in no time if he keeps it up, but he’s not the only QB this week who has skyrocketed up the list due to performance or matchup.

Week 4 Quarterback Rankings

1. Josh Allen – He has rebounded well from his poor Week 1 and gets a great matchup in a potential shootout vs. the Dolphins.

2. Jalen Hurts – When someone else gets near the goal line, you know Hurts is going to sneak it in. His floor/ceiling combo is always incredibly high.

3. Lamar Jackson – It’s a tough matchup against the Browns, but Lamar always has great rushing upside, especially with his running backs beaten up.

4. Patrick Mahomes – While the Jets aren’t a cakewalk, Mahomes can score points against anyone.

5. Tua Tagovailoa – I considered putting Tua as high as 3 on the list this week. It’s not just the 70 points last week, this offense has looked incredible all year.

6. Justin Herbert – Herbert’s incredible game last week against the Vikings went overlooked due to Miami’s explosion, but he’s always an elite Fantasy Football QB.

7. Daniel Jones – Likely no Saquan Barkley and a great matchup where he will likely be trailing against the Seahawks. Lots of passing and rushing upside.

8. Kirk Cousins – Cousins through Goff was difficult for me to rank in Week 4, they all could be semi-interchangeable.

9. Jordan Love – I’m ready to admit I was wrong about Jordan Love, he looks pretty good and is definitely capable of putting up fantasy points. He still misses some open receivers, but he’s a solid option this week.

10. Trevor Lawrence – The falloff after Jones is pretty significant, but Lawrence can put up a big score regardless of the week.

11. Joe Burrow – The quick passing game proved moderately fruitful in combating Burrow’s calf injury. Even when hurt, he’s a viable option.

12. Geno Smith – Geno just keeps doing what he needs to do to be viable as a Fantasy Football QB each and every week.

13. Justin Fields – The Broncos’ defense is so bad, they just gave up 70 points. We don’t need that, we just need Fields to run the ball again and hit DJ Moore with the odd screen pass.

14. Jared Goff – For whatever reason, Goff tends to struggle on the road. He’s not in the best spot but is viable in this divisional matchup.

15. Dak Prescott – Dak feels like one of those players who you can always use in an emergency this season, but you never feel great about it.

16. Matthew Stafford – This man was trying to make me go insane on Monday Night Football in Week 3. So many sacks, such bad clock management, and so close to a big day of DFS Pick’em victories. Regardless, Stafford has produced fantasy points this year.

17. Brock Purdy – He has so many weapons, and the offense looks great. It’s just a matter of if he’s involved in the touchdowns.

18. Kenny Pickett – If he gets any time to pass the ball and looks toward George Pickens, this Steelers offense looks decent at times.

19. CJ Stroud – He’s proven to be more than competent so far this season. He’s the last player on the Week 4 Fantasy Football QB Rankings I feel good about.

20. Deshaun Watson – Woof, he has looked terrible, but the Baltimore defense is so wildly injured.

21. Russell Wilson – The good thing about always being down a ton of points is it means you have to throw a lot, I guess.

22. Andy Dalton – He looked a lot better than Young has so far and the Vikings’ defense is pretty awful. He actually could put up a decent Week 4 score.

23. Gardner Minshew – Hopefully, Richardson is back. I don’t want to play Minshew, but I always want to play Richardson.

24. Joshua Dobbs – Look at these Cardinals go! Dobbs is running, they actually look competent, who knows maybe he will keep it up.

25. Jameis Winston – I just want the Saints to let Jameis free and allow him to sling like he did in Tampa, but it won’t happen.

26. Desmond Ridder – The matchup is alright, the offense just doesn’t get it done enough through the air.

27. Sam Howell – I like Howell this season, but not in Week 4 against the Eagles. However, he should at least have to throw a lot.

28. Baker Mayfield – The Saints haven’t given up more than 20 points in a game since halfway through last season, and Mike Evans consistently gets shut down by Marshon Lattimore.

29. Ryan Tannehill – Cinci’s defense looked great against the Rams, I worry for Tannehill here. This should be a big Derrick Henry day.

30. Zach Wilson – At least the matchup isn’t terrible, I guess? Poor Jets fans.

31. Mac Jones – Wildly difficult defense. I don’t want to play Mac.

32. Jimmy Garoppolo – He may not play this week, and I don’t want the Raiders QB, regardless of who it is.

Fantasy Football QB Notes

Tua Tagovailoa and Josh Allen match up for what looks to be the shootout of the week. Any exposure to this game through either fantasy football QB or their pass-catchers should be a gold mine for fantasy points in Week 4. Daniel Jones and Jordan Love are the two biggest risers outside of Tua in the Week 4 Fantasy Football QB rankings while Justin Fields gets one last shot against a Broncos defense that just gave up 70 points to make us believe. CJ Stroud is the last QB on the board I would consider playing this week outside of incredibly deep leagues, and I wouldn’t touch anyone below him in DFS either.

These fantasy football quarterback rankings will be back each and every week to make sure you have the best chance at winning your matchups!
