Bogdanovic popped up on the Jazz’s injury report with a non-COVID illness, but he’s now officially been cleared to play in Thursday’s matchup against the Houston Rockets, while Paschall will also be available to play despite continuing to deal with what’s been classified as a facial infection. Paschall has been serving as the primary backup power forward for Utah while Rudy Gay is still recovering from a right heel injury, so he should continue to see his normal allotment of minutes in tonight’s contest health permitting. Bogdanovic isn’t exactly a value at his price tag across the daily fantasy industry, but the lack of strong plays at the forward positions, he can most certainly be considered for large-field tournament formats given his ceiling if he manages to catch fire from beyond the arc this evening.

Powell has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Wednesday’s matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies due to left patellar tendinopathy that’s now forced him to miss two consecutive games. His absence will enable Nassir Little to receive the starting nod at the small forward position once again, and last time out, even in a blowout, he managed to log just under 32 minutes of action, giving him a high minute floor in tonight’s contest. The blowout factor makes it a bit more difficult to predict where the remainder of available minutes will go, but if head coach Chauncey Billups opts to not expand his rotation any further, Anfernee Simons could become an intriguing target for tournament formats considering he’s managed to see upwards of 24 minutes off the bench in games where Powell, Damian Lillard, and C.J. McCollum were all active and playing at full strength.

Davis has officially been upgraded from questionable and will play in Wednesday’s second leg of a back-to-back set against the Oklahoma City Thunder despite dealing with right knee soreness, LeBron James will miss a second consecutive game because of a sore right ankle. Wayne Ellington was also listed as questionable once again with a strained left hamstring, but he is unlikely to play, and his eventual role in the rotation remains unknown when the Lakers are at full strength, though it appears his minutes ceiling would be overtaking Austin Reaves and his current end of the rotation reserve role at some point. As for LeBron’s absence, it is obvious that Davis and Russell Westbrook now become stellar daily fantasy options at their price tags across the industry, but Malik Monk and Carmelo Anthony should also be viable sources of value in their elevated minutes this evening.

LeVert was listed as questionable on the Pacers’ injury report for the first time all season, but he’ll have to wait at least one more game before making his season debut as he’s been ruled out of Wednesday’s matchup against the Toronto Raptors due to a sore back. This leaves the Pacers lineup the same as it’s been through four games, so expect Chris Duarte, Justin Holiday, Jeremy Lamb, and Torrey Craig to continue seeing a majority, if not all, of the available wing minutes in head coach Rick Carlisle’s rotations. However, Duarte and Holiday appear to have a stranglehold on that time share as they’ve each logged at least 33 minutes in each of the previous two contests as members of the starting unit.

In typical Doc Rivers’ fashion, the Sixers head coach couldn’t give a straight answer to reporters on whether Embiid and Drummond will play in Tuesday’s matchup against the New York Knicks, but both big men have now officially been cleared to play, and Drummond will be making his return from a one-game absence due to a sprained ankle. This will relegate Paul Reed and Charles Bassey out of the regular rotation once again and will also reduce the role of Georges Niang, who found himself manning the five-spot in small lineup combinations in Sunday’s win. There’s been no reports of a minute restriction for Embiid, so he’ll continue to be an elite option for as long as Ben Simmons is sidelined as he sported a ridiculous 42.5% usage rate, 22.8% assist rate, and 21.4% rebound rate in 421.1 minutes with Simmons off the court last season.
