Len has quickly been downgraded from questionable following a brief status upgrade and won’t play in Tuesday’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns due to low back pain, while Trae Young and De’Andre Hunter will be available to play. There haven’t been any reports of potential minute restrictions for Young or Hunter, so they’ll presumably be fine to assume their typical minute workloads as members of the starting lineup in tonight’s contest. With Young sidelined for Sunday’s loss, Brandon Goodwin received the starting nod at point guard, and he was serviceable for fantasy purposes in 27 minutes of action, but he as been allotted 14 or fewer minutes with the second unit in six of the seven games Young has also been active. Young and John Collins have benefitted the most with Len, Jabari Parker, and Bruno Fernando off the court, as they each own a minimum of +2.1% increase in usage rate and are averaging at least a +0.14 increase in fantasy points per minute over their normal season-long statistics.

Frank Ntilikina (groin) downgraded to doubtful Tuesday
Ntilikina has officially been downgraded from probable to doubtful for Tuesday’s matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks due to a sore groin that has already forced him to miss one game, while Reggie Bullock and Mitchell Robinson remain probable with their respective ailments. In his absence, Kadeem Allen assumed the backup point guard responsibilities with Dennis Smith Jr. still sidelined, and he was solid for fantasy purposes in just 17 minutes of action. The Knicks are also still without Marcus Morris, so Bullock should draw another start at small forward in tonight’s contest, and he has now logged at least 27 minutes in three of the previous four games. Bullock has a low floor for daily fantasy formats, but he has been an adequate contributor in his 165.4 minutes this season, as he has an 18.1% usage rate and is averaging 0.84 DraftKings and 0.85 FanDuel points per minute thus far.

Rubio didn’t travel with the team to Atlanta and won’t play in Tuesday’s matchup against the Atlanta Hawks as he awaits the birth of his first child, while Frank Kaminsky remains sidelined with a right patellar stress fracture and is still without a timetable for a return. The last time Rubio was unavailable, Elie Okobo ended up receiving the start at point guard and he was stellar for fantasy purposes relative to his price tag in 30 minutes of action. The Suns were still without Deandre Ayton at that time, but Ty Jerome and Tyler Johnson each absorbed significant run off the bench, logging 22 and 15 minutes, respectively, as the primary backups to Okobo and Devin Booker in the loss. The sample size with Ayton active and Rubio off the court are still extremely small, but in that limited time, Booker has a 35.0% usage rate and is averaging 1.23 DraftKings and 1.14 FanDuel points per minute.

Chandler has been added to the Nets injury report and is now questionable for Tuesday’s matchup against the Utah Jazz due to left hamstring tightness, while Garrett Temple was already ruled out with a right knee contusion that has forced him to miss two of the previous three games. Chandler was limited to just 18 minutes off the bench in Sunday’s blowout win with Kyrie Irving returning from a lengthy injury layoff and further clogging up head coach Kenny Atkinson’s rotation. Atkinson also decided to utilize his two-point guard starting lineup in Irving’s first game back, and if Dinwiddie continues to share more time on the floor with Irving moving forward, his overall fantasy production is likely to take a massive hit, as he owns just a 21.8% usage rate, a 19.2% assist rate, and is averaging 0.97 DraftKings and 0.92 FanDuel points per minute in the 151.4 minutes he’s played with Irving on the court this season.

As expected, Bjelica will start in Monday’s matchup against the Orlando Magic despite dealing with a sprained right ankle, while Marvin Bagley III already confirmed with reporters at shootaround that he will play after missing eight games due to a sprained left foot Head coach Luke Walton already confirmed that Bagley will be subject to a minute restriction in his first game back, though he didn’t disclose if Bjelica would be limited, which will allow Harry Giles III to draw another start at center with Richaun Holmes and Bogdan Bogdanovic still sidelined. Bagley doesn’t exactly come at a discount on most daily fantasy sites across the industry, so he’s nothing more than a tournament dart throw even though he’s been solid when healthy and has a 26.6% usage rate and is averaging 1.08 DraftKings and 1.08 FanDuel points per minute in 212.5 minutes on the season thus far.

Davis and Rondo have officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Monday’s matchup against the Dallas Mavericks due to their respective ailments, while James will play after missing one game with an illness. In Davis’ absence, Kyle Kuzma will almost certainly receive another start at the power forward position, and he has been phenomenal from a fantasy perspective and has logged at least 34 minutes in each of the Lakers’ previous two games. The less obvious consequence of Davis being unavailable is that JaVale McGee and Dwight Howard will now be relied upon to absorb all of the available center minutes, putting them both firmly into play for all daily fantasy formats this evening. It comes as no surprise that James sees his usage spike to 40.8% with Davis off the court, and he is averaging 1.75 DraftKings and 1.67 FanDuel points per minute in a 225.0 minutes sample size.

Gordon and Augustin have both officially been upgraded from questionable and will be available to play in Monday’s matchup against the Sacramento Kings, while Michael Carter-Williams was already ruled out due to an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder that has now forced him to miss 11 games. In Gordon’s absence, Khem Birch and Wes Iwundu received the start at their respective positions, but Birch was easily the more productive of the two from a fantasy perspective despite both players logging at least 28 minutes in Friday’s loss. If Gordon is cleared to play without any restrictions, one of Birch or Iwundu will likely head back to the bench, but Gordon obviously becomes an intriguing tournament target at his depressed salary since he racks up peripheral statistics on in areas of the box score and is averaging 0.96 DraftKings and 0.95 FanDuel points per minute to go along with a 20.8% usage rate on the year thus far.

Favors has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Monday’s matchup against the Detroit Pistons due to a strained right hamstring that has now forced him to miss two games, while Ingram, Holiday, J.J. Redick, and Kenrich Williams have all been ruled out, as expected, with their respective ailments. Josh Hart has started on the wing in all four games Holiday has been unavailable of late, and he has managed to log at least 33 minutes in all but one of those starts over that span. Additionally, Jaxson Hayes and E’Twaun Moore joined the starting lineup in place of Favors and Redick in Saturday’s blowout loss, but their minute floors weren’t as stable as Hart’s, as they both recorded fewer than 28 minutes of action, however, now that Ingram, Holiday, Redick, and Williams are unavailable, Moore should have a similar minute allotment to Hart and Hayes, Jahilil Okafor, and Nicolo Melli will be relied upon to absorb nearly all of the available frontcourt minutes this evening.

Sabonis has officially been upgraded from questionable and will start in Monday’s matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers after missing one game due to a sore left knee, while Brogdon has been cleared to return from an illness and a sore back that forced him to miss eight of the Pacers previous nine games. In Sabonis’ absence, Jakarr Sampson ended up receiving the start at power forward and was solid for fantasy purposes in 20 minutes of action in Friday’s win, while Goga Bitadze recorded 15 minutes off the bench as the lone backup center in that contest. The Pacers catch a bit of a break, Sabonis in particular, that Joel Embiid remains sidelined with a hand injury, so Sabonis will be an intriguing tournament target since he has a 23.5% usage rate, 20.9% rebound rate, a 18.4% assist rate, and is averaging 1.23 DraftKings and 1.21 FanDuel points per minute on the season thus far.

In his absence, every Cleveland starter was allocated at least 34 minutes, and head coach John Beilein utilized a relatively tight rotation with Brandon Knight and Alfonzo McKinnie also recording at least 18 minutes off the bench. Exum has gradually been earning more playing time in Beilein’s rotation, so Knight, McKinnie, and all the starters are unlikely to see similar minutes in tonight’s contest as they did in Saturday’s win.

The last time I wrote up Svi Mykhailiuk he took three shots and scored less than ten fantasy points. He has scored at least 20 fantasy points in six of the last seven games, and DraftKings pricing really reacted hard to that dud game. He’s $3,200 on DraftKings, $6,200 on FantasyDraft, and $10 on Yahoo!. He should benefit from the pace being faster in this game, and I expect him to play 27+ minutes, which he’s done in seven straight games.
Really Like This Team Tonight
I think the whole Thunder team is underpriced on DraftKings, but Dennis Schroder is mispriced across the industry. The Thunder rank 22nd in pace, but Minnesota ranks 4th, which leads to the biggest pace bump on this slate. Schroder has failed to put up 30 fantasy points in four straight games, but he draws a really good matchup off the bench tonight. Minnesota ranks 27th in DvA against complete guards this season.
