Karl-Anthony Towns is listed as questionable
If KAT doesn’t go against a full strength Raptors squad and neither does Taj Gibson, expect Dario Saric and Gorgui Dieng to pick up the slack, with Saric likely to get more minutes but Dieng to be the more efficient point per minute producer. Bayless doesn’t have a ton of impact but would solidify Tyus Jones role, and Andrew Wiggisn would have to step up as well to keep the game anywhere close, despite a tough matchup with Kawhi Leonard.

Richaun Holmes has been ruled out
Holmes being out once again opens the door for Dragan Bender and Ray Spalding to make everything they can of their opportunity, although their prices have come up slightly. Still, Bender has shown a lot more energy and aggressiveness the last few games and Spalding is still cheap enough that he can help you pay up for the Hardens and Westbrooks of the world, so they can both be considered here.

Scott being out tightens up the Philadelphia rotation a bit, with JJ Redick, James Ennis and Joel Embiid also out. There should be plenty of minutes for Tobias Harris, Ben Simmons and Jimmy Butler should Philadelphia choose to attack this game against Miami with all of its firepower and not curtail minutes for the regulars that are playing.

The Nuggets are getting the regular gang back together for tonight’s clash with the Utah Jazz, and as such the value that was previously found in Mason Plumlee in Trey Lyles will no longer be there. You can always consider any of the three mentioned here, but going up against Rudy Gobert generally isn’t the easiest of tasks for either Jokic or Millsap. There are likely better options for concentrated fantasy production than a Nuggets team that is at full strength for all intents and purposes.

I’m not sure exactly who the Celtics are going to throw out on the court this evening, but it’s not going to be pretty. They are going to rest all five of their starters and at least two bench players, so the depth is lacking here. The “best” players that are taking the court are Terry Rozier and Jaylen Brown, but I have my doubts about whether they will play full minutes. For what it’s worth, though, Rozier basically commented that he’s going off tonight. The best spots to look with Boston are likely with the punt values. Wanamaker, Yabusele, Ojeleye, and Williams are all likely looking at 25+ minutes in this game, and they all come with bare minimum price tags. Yabusele is the biggest risk/reward GPP option of the bunch, but all four are in play. Keep an eye out for news throughout the day.

Great Point Per Dollar Upside
It’s strange to see, but Hezonja has become the leader of this short-handed, tanking Knicks squad. They used an eight man rotation in the last game, and he has averaged a 25/10/7 line over three games in the month of April. I’m surprised that his price hasn’t climbed higher than its current level, and he remains an elite mid-range play.
Jaylen Brown, Daniel Theis, and Guerschon Yabusele are expected to play
The Celtics are resting just about everyone tonight, which means boatloads of minutes for the non-regulars who will be taking the court tonight. The most obvious impact is on Terry Rozier, and he has already stated that he plans to get plenty of shots up tonight. Jaylen Brown is available but given his murky injury status leading up to tonight’s game he may not receive a full complement of minutes. Theis, Yabusele, and others can be in your plans for roster construction to pair with Rozier for plenty of value.

The Raptors might not have been an overly compelling team to choose players to roster from in the first place, but the fact that they aren’t resting anyone and are working hard towards the best possible record tells me that their starters are not likely to be the most valuable of players. That combined with the fact that they should have a fairly easy time with an undermanned Minnesota squad means we may want to look elsewhere to optimize our rosters.

Ordinarily Crowder would be somewhat of a secondary player to target, but with the Jazz missing so many high usage bodies, he could play a decent sized role in a comfortable match up against the Lakers.

Getting a bit crowded in the Blazers backcourt with CJ McCollum returning and Seth Curry available for tonight’s game, but Damian Lillard should still be able to continue his dominance against a depleted Nuggets team. The only question is whether or not he’ll be needed for a full games’ worth of work considering how shorthanded the Nuggets are tonight.

The Pelicans continue their Anthony Davis ruse this evening, and have also added Julius Randle to the murkiness of “unlikely to play”, stating that they want to see what Christian Wood looks like when getting a starter’s workload. Nothing the Pelicans do is surprising anymore, but Randle was looking like a decent candidate to put up big numbers without much resistance from Sacramento’s defense, but that opportunity will now go to Wood.

Jabari Parker won’t play this evening which should solidify Bobby Portis’ minutes and make him a worthwhile candidate for your consideration. Also means Chasson Randle will be the only scorer on the bench unit for whatever run he does end up getting.

C.J. McCollum will start, but is on a minutes restriction and not likely to be a good DFS play. He also likely won’t have too much of an effect on the productivity of Damian Lillard, who should be poised to have a big game.

With Danillo Gallinari already out and now Green and Beverly joining him, the remaining Clippers will have their hands full with a full strength Warriors team gearing up for a playoff run. This game is a likely blowout candidate so you may want to give some consideration to the second units of these teams.

With Holmes out, that paves the way to big minutes for Ray Spalding, who excelled in his first real playing time on Friday night against New Orleans. This will be another opportunity, and rebounds should be abundant against a Houston team that takes plenty of outside shots. You can also consider Dragan Bender here, but there is more of a sample size on him lacking elite point per minute production.
