Mike Muscala

Oklahoma City Thunder
3/20/18, 11:28 AM ET

Sneaky GPP Value

John Collins is out for the Hawks tonight, which means they will be thin on the interior. They will also need some size to match up against Rudy Gobert and the Jazz. While Dewayne Dedmon is the obvious choice here, Muscala is also in play as a value option. He has produced solid numbers in limited playing time this season, and I wouldn’t be shocked to see him log 25+ minutes in this game. He’s a worthwhile contrarian option in your GPP lineup builds.

Donovan Mitchell

Cleveland Cavaliers
3/20/18, 11:27 AM ET

An Elite Mid-Range Play In All Formats

On a points per dollar basis, he is one of my top plays of the night. He carries a 31% usage rate with Derrick Favors off the floor, and Utah draws a great matchup against an awful Hawks defense. There is some blowout risk here with Utah playing at home, but Mitchell should be carrying the offense in this one. The other high dollar plays are obviously fine, but you can save a bit with Mitchell and still get access to a quietly high ceiling. He is in play for both cash games and tournaments tonight.

Nerlens Noel

Sacramento Kings
3/20/18, 11:16 AM ET

A Massive Risk/Reward GPP Play

We never know what the Mavericks are going to do on a nightly basis, but they SHOULD look to get Nerlens Noel an extended look down the stretch. He did not play on Saturday on the tail end of a back-to-back set, but he logged a season high 27 minutes in the previous game. In that game, he scored six points, grabbed six rebounds, logged five steals, and blocked three shots. The fantasy upside has always been there, but the minutes are the wild card. If you are looking to go cheap at center tonight, here’s a great risk/reward GPP option for you.

Dewayne Dedmon

Philadelphia 76ers
3/20/18, 9:32 AM ET

Tough Matchup Shouldn't Scare You Away

I’m not a big Dewayne Dedmon fan, but it’s hard not to like his minutes and upside in this matchup tonight. It’s crazy to think there is upside when facing Gobert, but without John Collins, Dedmon’s minutes are locked in tonight. He’s gone for at least 27 fantasy points in three of the last four games he’s played at least 30 minutes. With all the young guys playing for Atlanta, it increases the rebound upside, and over the last 12 games, Utah is allowing 15.08 rebounds per game to opposing centers. I like a lot of high end centers tonight, but if you’re looking to pay down, I think Dedmon is a good play.

Yogi Ferrell

LA Clippers
3/20/18, 9:32 AM ET

Increased Opportunity Because Of Injuries

Dallas will be without Dennis Smith Jr. tonight, and possibly without J.J. Barea as well. Yogi Ferrell has been playing 28 to 32 minutes per night, and I expect that to stay around the same tonight. The difference is, he gets a usage bump (1.3%), and he’s averaging .75 fantasy points per minute without DSJ and Matthews on the floor. If Barea sits, Ferrell’s usage goes up 9.7% and he’s averaging 1.07 fantasy points per minute. Ferrell will get minutes without Barea on the floor either way tonight, and at his price, I think he’s one of the safer value options.

Corey Brewer

Sacramento Kings
3/20/18, 8:36 AM ET

Finally Found A Home

Corey Brewer has played all over the place for the last five seasons, but he might have actually found a role with this Thunder team. He’s played over 29 minutes in five straight games, and has over 30 fantasy points in three of the last four games. He’s doing a lot on the defensive side of the ball, which makes him interesting tonight against Boston. Boston averages 13.9 turnovers per game, but with the injuries recently, they’re averaging 16.3 turnovers per game in the last three. At his current price, I think Brewer is a sneaky tournament value tonight.

Jae Crowder

Sacramento Kings
3/20/18, 8:30 AM ET

Increased Minutes Because Of Injury

Derrick Favors has already been ruled out for tonight’s game, and that should give a minutes bump to Jae Crowder. Crowder has been playing 27 to 29 minutes most night since joining the Jazz, but could see over 30 minutes tonight without Favors. Atlanta ranks 28th against power forwards this season, and they’re 21st in defensive efficiency against power forwards. I like Crowder more on DraftKings, but I don’t think he’s a terrible play at his FanDuel price. He has over 28 fantasy points in three of the last five games.

Tyreke Evans

Indiana Pacers
3/19/18, 7:53 PM ET

Tyreke Evans inactive Monday; Andrew Harrsion (wrist) will start

Evans is a late scratch and has been listed as inactive for Monday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets due to an unspecified reason. Evans was never listed on any of the updated versions of the Memphis Grizzlies’ injury reports throughout the day, so the news of his unavailability comes as a total surprise. Meanwhile, Andrew Harrison has been cleared to play and will start following his earlier questionable designation on the injury report due to a right wrist injury that had forced him to miss eight consecutive games. With Marc Gasol already ruled out because of an illness, Deyonta Davis will start at center but has been extremely volatile for daily fantasy formats when given the opportunity to start in the past. Among players that aren’t subject to a minute restriction, Harrison and Dillon Brooks have been the main beneficiaries with Evans and Gasol off the court this season, as each own at least a +5.3% usage rate differential, while Harrison also sees his production skyrocket to 1.13 on DraftKings and 1.12 on FanDuel in this scenario.

Kyle Korver

Milwaukee Bucks
3/19/18, 6:51 PM ET

Kyle Korver (sore foot) will play Monday

Korver confirmed with reporters at the conclusion of his pregame warmups that he will play in Monday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks after previously being listed as questionable on the Cleveland Cavaliers’ injury report with a sore right foot that had forced him to miss one game in conjunction with a personal issue. Interim head coach Larry Drew disclosed to reporters during his pregame media availability that Kevin Love would start in his return from a lengthy injury absence due to a non-displaced fracture in his left hand and will be subject to a minute restriction, though the exact restriction was not specified. The Cavaliers are also still without Larry Nance, Tristan Thompson, and Rodney Hood, which allowed Ante Zizic to draw the start at center in the previous game and log a season-high 20 minutes en route to easily exceeding salary-based expectations. However, with Love available, Zizic will be displaced from the starting lineup to a reserve role, and Love basically becomes a free square on FanDuel at his absurd stone minimum price tag despite the minute restriction.

Marc Gasol

Memphis Grizzlies
3/19/18, 6:46 PM ET

Marc Gasol (illness) ruled out Monday; Andrew Harrison (wrist) available to play

Gasol has officially been ruled out and won’t play in Monday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets after previously being listed as questionable on the Memphis Grizzlies’ injury report with an illness that had forced him to miss shootaround this morning. Meanwhile, Andrew Harrison will be available to play following his earlier questionable designation on the injury report due to a right wrist injury that had forced him to miss eight consecutive games. Tyreke Evans returned to the starting lineup last Thursday and has exceeded salary-based expectations in both games since while averaging 35 minutes per contest, which has led to former fill-in starting point guard Kobi Simmons being demoted to the bench and picking up a DNP-CD in Saturday’s win. This should be the norm moving forward, especially as Mario Chalmers gets back up to game speed following his extended injury absence. With Gasol unavailable, Evans becomes an intriguing tournament target once again, as he owns a +4.0% usage rate differential with Gasol off the court this season, while also averaging 1.32 fantasy points per minute on DraftKings and 1.27 on FanDuel in this scenario.

Allen Crabbe

Minnesota Timberwolves
3/19/18, 6:42 PM ET

Allen Crabbe (illness) will start Monday

Crabbe has officially been cleared to play, as expected, and will start in Monday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies after previously being listed as probable on the Brooklyn Nets’ injury report with an illness that had forced him to miss two consecutive games. Meanwhile, Dante Cunningham remains in the concussion protocol and will be sidelined for the second straight contest, which will allow Quincy Acy to continue serving as the primary backup behind Jarrett Allen at center. There’s been no word of a minute restriction for Crabbe and his return to the starting lineup will send Joe Harris back to the bench to resume a reserve role after two lackluster fantasy performance and logging at least 32 minutes in each spot start. Even though Rondae Hollis-Jefferson has started the last two games, relegating Spencer Dinwiddie to a reserve role, Dinwiddie hasn’t seen a decrease in playing time to this point and saw at least 30 minutes off the bench in both contests.

Tyler Zeller

San Antonio Spurs
3/19/18, 6:31 PM ET

Tyler Zeller (sore ribs) ruled out Monday

Zeller has officially been ruled out and won’t play in Monday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers after previously being listed as questionable in the Milwaukee Bucks’ game notes with sore ribs that have now forced him to miss two consecutive games. Meanwhile, Malcolm Brogdon and Matthew Dellavedova remain sidelined with their respective ailments, and interim head coach Joe Prunty will likely stick with his normal starting lineup, meaning that John Henson will continue to start at center. In Zeller’s absence, Thon Maker should remain in the frontcourt rotation in a limited capacity after logging 12 minutes on Saturday, while Giannis Antetokounmpo could also see additional minutes at center in small-ball lineup combinations.

Myles Turner

Milwaukee Bucks
3/19/18, 6:25 PM ET

Myles Turner (ankle sprain) will play Monday

Turner has officially been cleared to play and will suit up for Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers after previously being listed as questionable on the Indiana Pacers’ injury report and considered a game-time decision with a sprained right ankle that had forced him to miss one game. Meanwhile, Domantas Sabonis will miss his third consecutive game due to a sprained right ankle and has already been ruled out of Wednesday’s contest as well. Al Jefferson ended up drawing the start at center on Saturday with both Turner and Sabonis unavailable and logged 25 minutes en route to exceeding salary-based expectations, however, with Turner returning to the starting lineup, he’ll be relegated back to the bench to assume the role as the primary backup center. Additionally, Darren Collison will rejoin the starting lineup ahead of Cory Joseph, a move that was fairly predictable since Collison has seen his minute share increase over the last two games as he continues to rehab from left knee surgery.

As reported by: the Indiana Pacers via Twitter

Darren Collison

Los Angeles Lakers
3/19/18, 6:27 PM ET

Darren Collison will start ahead of Cory Joseph on Monday

Collison will rejoin the starting lineup at point guard for Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers, according to head coach Nate McMillan, which will send Cory Joseph back to the bench to resume a reserve role as the primary backup point guard. Collison had seen his minute share increase over the last two games as he rehabs from left knee surgery, so he appears ready to handle a full starter’s workload moving forward given the timing of the lineup change. Meanwhile, Domantas Sabonis will miss his third consecutive game due to a sprained right ankle and has already been ruled out of Wednesday’s contest as well. Al Jefferson ended up drawing the start at center on Saturday with both Sabonis and Myles Turner unavailable and logged 25 minutes en route to exceeding salary-based expectations, however, with Turner returning to the starting lineup, he’ll be relegated back to the bench to assume the role as the primary backup center.

Kevin Love

Utah Jazz
3/19/18, 5:51 PM ET

Kevin Love (hand) will play with a minute restriction Monday

Love has officially been cleared to play and will start in Monday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks after previously being listed as questionable on the Cleveland Cavaliers’ injury report with a non-displaced fracture in his left hand. However, interim head coach Larry Drew did disclose to reporters during his pregame media availability that Love will be subject to a minute restriction, though the exact restriction was not specified. Kyle Korver remains questionable following a one-game absence due to a personal matter but is expected to be a game-time decision because of a sore foot. Additionally, Larry Nance and Rodney Hood both were ruled out once again with their respective ailments. The Cavaliers are also still without Tristan Thompson, which allowed Ante Zizic to draw the start at center in the previous game and log a season-high 20 minutes en route to easily exceeding salary-based expectations. However, with Love available, Zizic will be displaced from the starting lineup to a reserve role, and Love basically becomes a free square on FanDuel at his absurd stone minimum price tag despite the minute restriction.
