Matt Barnes and Shaun Livingston miss shootaround; both questionable for Warriors tonight
With Kevin Durant also questionable and the status of these two also uncertain we could be looking at Patrick McCaw starting for Golden State tonight against Portland. He’d be a viable value option along with Andre Iguodala and Ian Clark who would both see extended playing time. We’ll update you on the status of these two (and Durant) later today when more news comes in.

Kevin Durant a game-time decision tonight for Golden State with a calf strain
Durant had some cramping in his left leg during Game 1 but it looks as if he suffered a strain and after missing practice yesterday is considered a game-time decision for tonight against Portland. We’ll continue to monitor the situation moving forward but if he is unable to go it’d be a huge usage boost for Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green who would all be top plays at their respective positions.

Ibaka was a game-time decision after rolling his ankle last game, but he will start tonight for the Raptors. He had a monster Game 1, contributing 19 points and hauling in 14 rebounds. His injury makes Jonas Valanciunas an interesting GPP option. JV only played 24 minutes last game, but if Ibaka is limited in some capacity tonight, he could pick up some extra time on the court. The center has an excellent rebounding rate of 20.8% and Milwaukee is one of the worst teams on the glass; they had the second-worst rebounding rate after the break (47.3%). During the regular season, Valanciunas returned 1.0 FD ppm and he had ten double-doubles after March 1st, even though he’s exceeded 30 minutes just once since then.

Serge Ibaka (ankle) expected to play tonight
Coach Dwane Casey’s exact quote was Ibaka “should be able to go.” Toronto plays in the first game tonight, so we’ll get confirmation prior to lock. Ibaka had a monster Game 1, contributing 19 points and hauling in 14 rebounds. He may end up limited in some capacity tonight, which is good news for Jonas Valaciunas. Toronto went small often, using Ibaka at the 5, if he can’t play a full complement of minutes, they’ll likely provide JV with a bigger workload. Mahinmi has missed the past two games with a strained calf and he’ll miss at least the next two games as rehabs the injury. With Mahinmi out, Marcin Gortat crossed the 30-minute mark for the first time since March 11th. He made the most of his extra time on the floor, scoring 14 and grabbing ten boards. He should be in line for a similar workload tomorrow, which makes him an appealing target at $5.1k on DraftKings. FanDuel hasn’t released their pricing for tomorrow’s slate yet.

Durant was cramping up in Game 1 and he’s been downgraded to questionable ahead of Game 2 along with Livingston, who’s dealing with a finger sprain and hand contusion. Barnes has missed the last three games with a sprain, but he’s considered questionable for tomorrow’s matchup with Portland. Durant missed practice earlier today, which could be an indication that the Warriors will play it safe with their star. Hopefully, we’ll get an update tomorrow morning on his status. If he’s ultimately ruled out, Curry would be a great option. He enjoys a 4.0% bump in usage with Durant off the floor and an extra 0.13 FD ppm, bringing his average pace to 1.38 FD ppm.

The Trail Blazer big man remains out with hopes that he might be able to return to action when the series returns to Portland. Noah Vonleh is the biggest beneficiary with Nurkic out and is a viable value option against Golden State on Wednesday.

The pair of reserves are both dealing with knee injuries but practiced today and are expected to suit up for the Wizards on Wednesday. Both see minutes in the 15-20 range and are not viable DFS options unless looking for a punt (Oubre is the safer option in that regard as he logged 20 minutes last game).

The Raptors forward suffered an ankle injury in Game 1 of the Raptors series with the Bucks and missed practice yesterday. He was able to go through the shootaround with a heavily taped ankle and is a game-time decision for tonight’s game. It appears as if he will play but if he can’t look for P.J. Tucker, Patrick Patterson, and Jonas Valanciunas to all pick up extra minutes. We’ll update you on Ibaka’s status closer to tip-off.

Jefferson hasn’t played in the last ten games, he should have very little impact on Indiana’s fantasy production tonight. Thaddeus Young and Myles Tuner should continue to push into the mid-30s minutes-wise. They combined for 17 rebounds in Game 1 and could continue that same level of production or improve as Cleveland ranks 21st in rebounding percentage after the break (48.9%). Turner is one of the best shot-blockers in the league (2.1 bpg), but he may have trouble racking them up in this series; Cleveland’s shooters were only blocked 3.3 times per game in the second half of the season, which was the second-best rate in the NBA.

Gobert will miss at least one game with a hyperextended knee, allowing Favors to enter the starting lineup. Favors scored 15 points and added six rebounds against the Clippers on Sunday. When Gobert is off the floor, Gordon Hayward sees a nice 3.8% bump in his usage rate and an additional 6.12 FD points on his per-36 pace, bringing it to 41.76. Hayward struggled to 19 points last game, shooting 38.9% from the field, but he managed a double-double with ten rebounds and earned 40 minutes of playing time. Geroge Hill has performed worse without Gobert off the court; his usage decreases by 2.2% and his per-36 pace falls 3.21 FD points to 38.75. Favors adds 1.02 FD points to his per-36 pace for a solid 32.37 total. He received 32 minutes last game and could be in for a similar workload tomorrow. Prices have not been released for tomorrow’s slate, but he should be relatively cheap.

Pacers Head Coach Nate McMillan stated Robinson would see some minutes but expect his workload to be limited with Lance Stephenson performing well. Robinson is not a viable DFS option while Stephenson continues to remain in play given his veteran experience and usage with the team.

Wade was capped at 25 minutes in Chicago’s final three games of the regular season after returning from an 11-game absence. Rondo played 20 minutes in the finale after missing the three contests. Both players have been cleared by the medical staff to play as much as they’re needed tonight against the Celtics. When Wade, Butler, and Rondo are on the floor together, Wade leads in usage (27.5%) and in per-minute fantasy production (34.57 DK points per 36 minutes). Meanwhile, Butler loses 4.3% off his usage rate and 8.24 DK points off his per-36 pace, leaving him with an average return of 34.94 DK points per 36. Butler will likely play more minutes than Wade and Rondo tonight, which will help him make up for his decreased per-minute production and allow him some time of the court without the other two cutting into his workload.

Coach Brad Stevens said Thomas’ “intention is to play” tonight against the Bulls, who rank 22nd in DvP against point guards. Thomas has been playing well over the past two weeks, returning an extra 1.67 FD points per 36 minutes. During that stretch he’s maintained a 35.4% usage rate and set a pace for 30.67 actual points per 36. He’s an elite option on this slate.
