Porzingis and Noah are questionable for Knicks tonight
The Knicks have listed two of their big men as questionable for their game tonight but it seems like Porzingis might make his return to action, especially if Noah isn’t able to play. If neither are able to play, Kyle O’Quinn would have some value as he’s performed well when given ample playing time.

Caldwell-Pope and Leuer questionable for Pistons today
KCP didn’t practice on Tuesday so while he’s listed as questionable, that seems to be more doubtful than anything. If he sits Reggie Bullock and Stanley Johnson will likely continue to split his minutes with Johnson the better option of the two. Leuer, however, did practice and seems likely to play tonight against Atlanta. If he’s put back into the starting lineup he has some value as a DFS option and would be a slight hit to Stanley Johnson in terms of playing time.

Deng was a late addition to the Lakers’ inactive list for tonight’s game against the Denver Nuggets due to a sprained right wrist. In the two games, Deng has missed this season, Brandon Ingram has averaged just over 34 minutes per contest and is one of the top value options in tournaments on the late slates now that he has been confirmed in the Lakers’ starting lineup at small forward.

Luol Deng (hand, wrist) ruled out tonight
Deng was a late addition to the Lakers’ inactive list for tonight’s game against the Denver Nuggets due to a sprained right wrist. In the two games, Deng has missed this season, Brandon Ingram has averaged just over 34 minutes per contest and is one of the top value options for tournaments on the late slates regardless of his starting status. However, Ingram or Lou Williams are the likeliest candidates to be inserted into the Lakers’ starting lineup in Deng’s absence.

Harris will not play in tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers after previously being listed as doubtful on the Nuggets’ injury report with a sprained right ankle he sustained early on in Monday’s win over the Orlando Magic. The Nuggets have yet to officially announce his replacement in the starting lineup, but Jameer Nelson started the second half on Monday in place of Harris, making him the likeliest candidate to draw the start this evening. With Harris officially ruled out, Nelson, Will Barton, and even Emmanuel Mudiay are in position to see their minute workload increased and are among the best value options on the entire slate in a pristine matchup with the Lakers’ back court defense.

Lawson has officially been listed as questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Indiana Pacers but is reportedly expected to play. If he is unable to give it a go for whatever reason, Darren Collison would become a near must play in every format across the industry, as he would be the only true point guard remaining on the Kings’ active roster.

Clarkson and Black will both be available to play in tonight’s game against the Denver Nuggets after previous being listed as probable on the Lakers’ injury report with separate ankle injuries. Clarkson is a viable tournament target on the late slates given the paced up matchup and Denver’s propensity to give up substantial amounts of fantasy points to opposing point guards.

Lowry will be active and dress for tonight’s game against the Brooklyn Nets but is not expected to play. The chances of Lowry seeing any playing time are minimal to say the least, and Cory Joseph will draw the start at point guard in his place. With Patrick Patterson also ruled out, Lucas Nogueira will remain as the starting power forward this evening. With Lowry off the court this season, DeMar DeRozan unsurprisingly sees a massive 7.9% usage rate differential (44.5%), making him a near must play in any format in a pristine matchup with Brooklyn.

Chris Paul (thumb) expected to miss 6-8 weeks
Paul will undergo surgery on a torn ligament in his left thumb that will likely require him to miss six-to-eight week. The Clippers will now be without Paul and Blake Griffin for the foreseeable and will have to rely on the trio of Raymond Felton, Austin Rivers, and Jamal Crawford to put pick up a majority of the slack. Felton will likely replace Paul in the starting lineup at point guard for Wednesday’s contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves and should end up being one of the top value options on the slate.

Adams will not play in tomorrow’s game against the Golden State Warriors due to a concussion that has now forced him to miss two consecutive games. Jerami Grant started at center on Monday and could see significant run even if he doesn’t draw the start Wednesday, as Zaza Pachulia averages less than 19 minutes per game, allowing Thunder head coach Billy Donovan to get creative with his rotation sans Adams. The uber-chalk play from Monday, also known as Enes Kanter, could end up being an interesting fade candidate considering he has barely seen the court in prior tilts with Golden State, evidenced by a minuscule four minutes played in their previous matchup this season.

Patterson will not play in tonight’s game against the Brooklyn Nets after previously being listed as questionable on the Raptors’ injury report with a strained left knee that has now forced him to miss three consecutive games. Patterson was recently inserted into the Raptors’ starting lineup, replacing the duo of Norman Powell and Lucas Nogueira, who had each recently had stints with the starting unit. Nogueira will likely draw the start once again, as he started at power forward and played 30 minutes in this exact matchup last week. Theoretically, Jonas Valanciunas should see close to 30 minutes of run in a matchup against Brook Lopez, but his minutes are still too volatile to be confidently recommended as anything other than tournament option. Although, if there was ever a slate to play him in cash games, this would be the one.
As reported by: Blake Murphy Taj Gibson (ankle) ruled out for tonight; Paul Zipser expected to start in his place
Gibson will not play in tonight’s game against the Dallas Mavericks due to a sore left ankle. The injury is not considered serious, according to Bulls’ head coach Fred Hoiberg, so there is a strong possibility this is just a one-game absence. Paul Zipser is expected to draw the start in his place, as Hoiberg wants to bring Nikola Mirotic along slowly in his return from an illness and prefers his rotation with Doug McDermott off the bench. Zipser is not a viable option with Mirotic and Bobby Portis liable to steal minutes from him off the bench. With Gibson off the court this season, both Jimmy Butler (34.8%) and Dwyane Wade (36.8%) see usage rate differentials greater than 4.9%, vaulting them into borderline elite play status despite the paced down matchup.

Anderson will not play in tonight’s game against the Miami Heat after previously being listed as doubtful on the Rockets’ injury report due to an illness. Corey Brewer will draw the start at small forward, sliding Trevor Ariza down to the power forward spot. However, Brewer is an easy avoid in every format considering he will likely be a starter in name only, as he’s averaged just under 19 minutes per game in his six spot starts this season. With Anderson off the court this season, James Harden (41.1%) and Eric Gordon (29.1%) both own a usage rate differential north of 3.8% and are obviously fine options on this slate, along with Ariza.

Casspi is expected to miss one-to-two weeks after sustaining a strained right plantaris tendon during the Kings’ practice on Monday. In recent games, Casspi has been the recipient of sporadic playing time and several DNP-CD, so his absence won’t do much to alter the rotation. Although, there may be a few more minutes to go around for Matt Barnes and one of the young wing players may get a crack at the rotation.

Ed Davis was only able to play 5 minutes against the Wizards on Monday and is ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Hornets. Noah Vonleh and Meyers Leonard stepped up in the absence of Davis but both players are only GPP options against in Charlotte. Leonard has the higher ceiling and will likely play more minutes than Vonleh.
