Ian Mahinmi

Washington Wizards

Ian Mahinmi OUT for Wizards tonight

Mahinmi will continue to sit for the Wizards – he’s played one game all season long so this news doesn’t carry much DFS relevance.

Will Barton

Toronto Raptors
12/02/16, 1:04 PM ET

Will Barton will play tonight for Nuggets

He’s missed 12 of the last 15 games but is expected to play tonight when Denver takes on the Rockets. It’s best to temper expectations in terms of playing time for now so he’s not a viable DFS option and his return is a slight hit to the value of the likes of Jamal Murray and Jameer Nelson.

Jerryd Bayless

Minnesota Timberwolves
12/02/16, 12:33 PM ET

Jerryd Bayless OUT for 76ers tonight

He was going to be out for the 76ers game that was postponed and was upgraded to questionable heading into today but the team has announced that he will not play. Sergio Rodriguez will be in play as a moderately priced PG option facing a Magic team that is 20th in PG DvP.

DeAndre Bembry

Milwaukee Bucks
12/02/16, 12:24 PM ET

DeAndre Bembry recalled from D-league by Atlanta

Bembry was moved up to the main roster after a 35 point performance in the D-league the other night. He’s not expected to have much of a role in their rotation so can be safely ignored for DFS purposes unless injuries change his status.

Nerlens Noel

Sacramento Kings
12/02/16, 12:07 PM ET

Nerlens Noel sent back down to D-league

The 76ers big man stay was a short one as they’ve already sent him back down to their D-league affiliate to continue rehabbing his injury.

Joe Johnson

Boston Celtics
12/01/16, 9:43 PM ET

Joe Johnson will start for Rodney Hood tonight

Joe Johnson will start tonight for Rodney Hood. This was a bit of a surprise as Joe Ingles was expected to get the nod ahead of Johnson. Ingles is no longer a solid option even as a flier in tournaments. Johnson should see minutes in the mid to upper 20s but his low usage limits his upside. If you’re looking to target any Jazz players tonight, it should be Gordon Hayward or Rudy Gobert.

Joe Ingles

Minnesota Timberwolves
12/01/16, 8:28 PM ET

Joe Ingles likely to start for Rodney Hood tonight

Joe Ingles is likely to draw the start for Rodney Hood who has already been ruled out tonight against the Heat. Ingles should see a nice bump in usage tonight as both George Hill and Hood will be sidelined this evening. Ingles has been solid the few times he has seen decent minutes. That being said, there are better value plays tonight with the Memphis players but Ingles is worth a look in tournaments as a high upside flier.

Josh Richardson

Detroit Pistons
12/01/16, 8:23 PM ET

Josh Richardson has been ruled out for next two games

Josh Richardson didn’t make the trip to Utah and has already been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Trail Blazers as well. With Richardson out, this should mean some extra minutes for Tyler Johnson while Dion Waiters remains out. Johnson should see minutes in the low 30s but because of the slow pace and tough defense of the Jazz, he is not a solid play tonight even on a six-game slate.

Rodney Hood

LA Clippers
12/01/16, 8:20 PM ET

Rodney Hood (hamstring) ruled out against the Heat

Rodney Hood will not play tonight due to a hamstring injury. He hurt is against the Rockets and was not able to finish that game. No official starter has been named in his place, but the options are Joe Ingles or Joe Johnson. Look for another update soon.

Mike Dunleavy

Atlanta Hawks
12/01/16, 8:19 PM ET

Mike Dunleavy (concussion) ruled out for tonight

Mike Dunleavy will not be playing tonight due to a concussion. He was not a viable DFS option anyways and Richard Jefferson could see a boost in playing time due to his absence. Jefferson is not a strong DFS play either.

Salah Mejri

Dallas Mavericks
12/01/16, 7:56 PM ET

Salah Mejri confirmed as the starter in place of Andrew Bogut

Salah Mejri has been confirmed as the starter in place of the resting Andrew Bogut. Mejri is a viable GPP option that should play about 20 minutes tonight. If the game stays competitive, he could see some extended run. He has proven this season that he can play 30+ minutes, so the GPP upside is there. Mejri is not safe for cash games and you should look at the plethora of other options available at center tonight for your cash game choices.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson

Portland Trail Blazers
12/01/16, 7:14 PM ET

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (ankle) active and expected to play against the Bucks

Hollis-Jefferson will play in tonight’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Nets are reportedly going to “build up his minutes” after missing over a week of game action with a sprained ankle, so he is unlikely to play anywhere near his normal allotment of minutes. Meaning he will have minimal-to-no impact on the fantasy outlook of Sean Kilpatrick this evening.

Seth Curry

Golden State Warriors
12/01/16, 7:02 PM ET

Seth Curry (knee) ruled out for tonight; Devin Harris (toe) will play

Curry will not play in tonight’s game against the Charlotte Hornets after being listed as questionable on the Mavericks injury report with a sprained right knee. With Devin Harris and Deron Williams likely to be limited with minute restrictions coming off their respective injuries, look for Jonathan Gibson to see significant minutes in this contest. He may be difficult to trust in cash games, but there have certainly been worse punts than him if needing to save some salary. With Dirk Nowitzki also ruled out, expect Harrison Barnes and Wesley Matthews to absorb most of the vacated usage in the starting unit. Barnes will also continue see extended run at the four, increasing his fantasy value this evening and going forward.

Jeremy Lamb

Sacramento Kings
12/01/16, 6:50 PM ET

Jeremy Lamb (knee) will be available to play tonight

Lamb will reportedly be available to play in tonight’s game against the Dallas Mavericks after being listed as questionable on the Hornets injury report with a knee contusion. Lamb has played extremely well since his return from a previous injury, and is certainly in play as a value option this evening. He is probably better reserved for tournaments, as it’s possible he get’s the dreaded DNP-CD in a possible blowout against the Mavericks. He is expected to play but there is definitely some added risk there.

Danilo Gallinari

Milwaukee Bucks
12/01/16, 6:44 PM ET

Danilo Gallinari (thigh) and Darrell Arthur (illness) listed as probable for Friday

Gallinari and Arthur are both listed as probable for tomorrow night’s game against the Houston Rockets. If Gallinari were to be ruled out (he’s fully expected to play), Wilson Chandler would once again become an elite small forward option, though is price has certainly been inflated around the industry due to Gallinari’s previous three-game absence. Arthur is much closer to questionable than Gallinari, as he battles an illness that kept him out of Wednesday’s contest. With Nikola Jokic also questionable, there could be a plethora of minutes to go around at power forward for the trio of Chandler, Kenneth Faried, and possibly Juan Hernangomez if Arthur is unable to suit up as well.
