Dwight Howard questionable for Atlanta tonight
Howard is expected to play tonight with a left quad contusion but the team has listed him as questionable for their game against Milwaukee. It’s a great match up for Howard as the Bucks are 25th in center DvP and struggle against dominant bigs. If he can’t go for some reason, Mike Muscala would get the biggest boost and would be a top value option.

E'Twaun Moore on track to play tonight for Pelicans
After being a somewhat surprise late scratch the last time the Pelicans played, New Orleans Head Coach Alvin Gentry stated that Moore was on track to play tonight against the Orlando Magic. Moore should get 25+ minutes and is affordably priced but his upside is somewhat limited (he’s topped 23.1 FanDuel fpts just three times in 10 games). Buddy Hield will return to the bench with Moore back.

This has been the case recently as Barton and Harris have missed extended time while Chandler has been able to play an average of 28 minutes the teams last two games. He’s a reasonable, somewhat safe (with low upside) option against a Suns team that is 25th in SF DvP.

Arthur is not a viable DFS option but he is returning to play tonight against the Suns and his presence will reduce the playing time of the Denver bigs slightly.

Rockets Head Coach Mike D’Antoni stated that Beverley will return to action when they take on Portland tomorrow night. It’ll be interesting to see if James Harden’s role as the primary ball handler diminish any with Beverley back on the court as he has dominated the league thus far this season. Eric Gordon is the player most affected by this news though as he’ll likely find his way to the bench.

Pistons Head Coach Stan Van Gundy stated that his starting center will give it a go tonight against the Knicks. Drummond is always a high-risk, high-reward option but there are better plays at the position tonight, especially with him having to deal with injury issues. This removes Aron Baynes as a option.

The team continues to be cautious with their dominant rookie as he will sit out tonight’s game against the Wizards. Jahlil Okafor will get the start but will be on a 24 minute time limit. He’s not in play given that restriction.

Beal isn’t quite ready to return to action with his injured hamstring and will sit out the Wizards game tonight against the 76ers. Marcus Thornton will likely get the start and is in play going against a Philly team that is 2nd to last in SG DvP. Good news for the Wizards is PG John Wall will play – he’ll be a top option at his position as well.

Deron Williams told local media that he is going to play tonight against the Celtics who are top 10 in the league in PG DvP. With DWill back, J.J. Barea and Seth Curry will see a reduction in their roles and all three are players to avoid on this 11 game slate. Nowitzki is dealing with a sore Achilles and will be a game-time decision although it’s more likely than not that he does not play as the team is very cautious with him. If he is unable to go, Dwight Powell would be in line for more run and would be a good value option at the PF position.

After sitting out last night’s contest against the Clippers due to rest, Lopez is set to return tonight against the Lakers. He comes back to a favorable matchup against the Lakers in what should be an up and down, high scoring affair. Lopez has been letting it fly from beyond the arc, attempting at least five 3-pointers in his last five games. He should get plenty of open looks against the likes of Timofey Mozgov and Tarik Black. Lopez is an elite tournament play considering his price and upside.

Rajon Rondo ruled out tonight; Jerian Grant will start
Rajon Rondo was previously listed as questionable with an ankle injury coming into tonight. He has now been ruled out and Jerian Grant will start in his place. Grant is hovering around minimum price around the industry but is nothing more than a GPP flier as the offense will flow primarily through Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade. The Bulls next game is Thursday against the Jazz so we should have a better idea of how serious Rondo’s ankle injury is by that time.

The key thing to note here is that Zach LaVine is officially back in the starting lineup as expected. The starters should all see heavy minutes as usual in what should be a close game tonight. LaVine may play a few extra if his knee holds up as Shabazz Muhammad has already been ruled out for tonight.

Shabazz Muhammad has been ruled out for tonight’s contest against the Charlotte Hornets. He previously missed Sunday’s game against the Lakers along with Zach Lavine. In their absence, Nemanja Bjelica got the spot start and lit it up with 24 points and eight rebounds. He will return to the bench with Lavine back tonight but should still see minutes in the low 20s with Muhammad still sidelined. He is an interesting GPP option considering his cheap price tag.

Zach Lavine is back in action tonight after missing Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Jon Krawczynski said that Lavine is dealing with some tendinitis in his knee but will play tonight. Lavine should see his normal allotment of minutes with Shabazz Muhammad still sidelined but draws a tough matchup against Nicolas Batum. Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins should continue to carry the load on offense and are much safer DFS plays tonight.

DeMarre Carroll (rest) officially ruled out
DeMarre Carroll will sit out tonight’s contest against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Norman Powell will start in his place once again and played well on Saturday scoring 19 points in 29 minutes. The matchup tonight is not ideal for Powell as he will square up with LeBron James but his cheap price tag and expected minutes with Carroll out make him a solid GPP option tonight.
