Paul Pierce

LA Clippers
4/10/16, 2:25 PM ET

Paul Pierce is the only Clipper that won’t play on Sunday

Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan, Blake Griffin, and J.J. Redick will all start Sunday against the Mavericks after resting on Friday night. Paul Pierce is the only Clipper that won’t play on Sunday. The Clippers players are only in play for tournaments today. The Clippers already have the 4th spot locked up in the West, so they don’t have much to play for.

Deron Williams plans to play Sunday against the Clippers after missing the last eight games with a sports hernia injury. Williams isn’t a recommended DFS play today because his minutes may be limited. J.J. Barea won’t play Sunday after hurting his groin on Friday night. With Barea out, Raymond Felton remains a decent punt play, but not the elite punt play if Williams was out. Felton is coming off one of his best games of the season against the Grizzlies, in which he finished with 40 FD points.

John Wall

LA Clippers
4/10/16, 11:22 AM ET

John Wall ruled out Sunday

John Wall will miss his third straight game Sunday with a knee injury. With Wall out of the lineup, Ramon Sessions has started the last two games for the Wizards. In those games, Sessions is averaging 15 points and 10 assists per game. Sessions should be considered a top value play on today’s slate. He is priced at just $4,200 on FD and $3,700 on DK. Bradley Beal also sees a big bump in usage with Wall not playing.

Russell Westbrook

Sacramento Kings
4/09/16, 10:35 PM ET

Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant starting against the Kings; Serge Ibaka and Andre Roberson also return

Westbrook and Durant will return after resting for one game. Both players should be considered elite options against the Kings. Ibaka should also be considered a strong option with his price at $5,500 on DK. Roberson is not a viable DFS option and should not be considered. Dion Waiters and Anthony Morrow also lose their value with Durant and Westbrook back.

DeMarcus Cousins

Denver Nuggets
4/09/16, 9:39 PM ET

Kings tentative starters: Collison, Anderson, Gay, Cauley-Stein, and Cousins

Cousins is projected to be in the starting lineup against the Thunder. Cousins should be an elite option in his final start of the season. Collison will be replacing Rondo and also should be a cash game staple. We don’t expect a change from this lineup but will update if there is.

As reported by: James Ham Other tagged players: James Anderson, Darren Collison, Rudy Gay, Willie Cauley-Stein

Vince Carter

Atlanta Hawks
4/09/16, 9:40 PM ET

Vince Carter replaces Chris Andersen in the starting lineup

Carter will be making his first start of the season for the Grizzlies tonight. Carter should see about 24 minutes against the Warriors and is an elite punt option. He scored 34 fpts against the Bulls on Tuesday, proving that he does have a robust ceiling if he plays well. Vince only scored 7.2 fpts in his last appearance so the floor is pretty low as well. The Grizzlies official starting five is Farmar, Stephenson, Barnes, Carter, and Randolph.

Iman Shumpert

Brooklyn Nets
4/09/16, 7:59 PM ET

Iman Shumpert (knee) ruled out on Saturday; Tristan Thompson to start for Timofey Mozgov

Shumpert will be out due to a sore knee but is not much of a DFS factor even when he plays. Tristan Thompson replaces Mozgov in the starting lineup and could be a nice punt option against the Bulls interior. The Bulls rank 19th in DRE vs. Cs over the course of the season. Mozgov is not a viable DFS option off the bench.

As reported by: Dave McMenamin Other tagged players: Tristan Thompson, Timofey Mozgov

Lance Stephenson

Indiana Pacers
4/09/16, 8:52 PM ET

Lance Stephenson starting in place of Tony Allen

Stephenson will be replacing the injured Tony Allen against the Warriors. This will be the third start for Stephenson since coming over in a mid-season trade from the Clippers. Stephenson should be able to see over 30 minutes even if the game gets out of hand. Consider Stephenson a strong punt option that could have low ownership with the news coming out after lineups had locked.
