Reggie Jackson misses practice; status uncertain for Friday's game
Jackson had shortness of breath issues last night and missed practice today to visit the doctor. If he is unable to go, Steve Blake would become the likely starter and a value option for the Friday night slate. We’ll update Jackson’s status tomorrow.

Meyers Leonard out for next three games
Leonard confirmed that he will miss the next three games for the Trail Blazers including tonight’s game against the Spurs. Ed Davis is the biggest beneficiary but going against the Spurs isn’t in play tonight as the Spurs are first in the league in fantasy points allowed and third at both PF and C DvP. Keep an eye, however, on Terry Stotts’s rotation tonight as it could allow for some value the next two games that Leonard is out.

Whiteside wasn’t expected to miss tonight’s game against the Hornets and the team has confirmed that all players will be available tonight. The Hornets aren’t a cupcake matchup, ranking 11th in C DvP, and Whiteside has struggled his last two games only putting up 61.2 FanDuel fpts in 64 minutes. The upside, however, is definitely there as before those two games the big man had scored 40+ in nine of eleven games including three that topped 50+. This puts him in play more as a GPP option than anything, especially considering he comes off the bench.

The Pacers have released their injury report for their game against the Toronto Raptors and just two players are on it – Lawson is questionable with a sprained left foot and Mahinmi is doubtful with a sore lower back. Lawson hasn’t topped 5 minutes of playing time since February 23rd so he’s not a viable DFS option regardless. Mahinmi puts up a solid 20 fpts a game usually but at $5K+ isn’t someone to target often as he has only played over 25 minutes in three of his last nine games. His absence, however, would open up additional minutes for Lavoy Allen who is near minimum priced and a viable punt option at PF despite a somewhat tough match up against the Raptors. Jordan Hill and Myles Turner will probably soak up a few of Mahinmi’s minutes as well. We’ll update you on the status of these two as we learn more.

Kristaps Porzingis will start against the Warriors after a one-game absence due to an illness. Porzingis is an intriguing play because his salary has not been this low since November. He does have considerable upside and will be under-owned due to missing his previous start. Porzingis should only be used for tournaments due to his inconsistent play matched with a potentially high upside. Derrick Williams will go back to the bench and is low-end tournament play.

Norris Cole (back) officially out on Wednesday
Norris Cole has now been officially ruled out. Toney Douglas is his replacement and he should be considered a strong DFS play against the Kings. There is no timetable for Cole’s return.

Norris cole is not expected to play with his lingering back issue. Toney Douglas is expected to start again and should play well against the Kings on his birthday. Douglas is averaging 31.72 DKFP over his last four games and should keep it going again tonight. With the Kings playing on the second night of a back-to-back and multiple players missing, Douglas has the opportunity in front of him.

James Anderson will be replacing Rajon Rondo tonight in the starting lineup. Darren Collison will move over to his natural point guard position, allowing Anderson to start at shooting guard. Willie Cauley-Stein is also expected to be in the starting lineup, even though he is battling an illness.

Paul Pierce will be available to play against the Rockets. There is no guarantee that he will see the floor but if he plays Wesley Johnson’s value takes a hit. Jeff Green has been starting and should continue to do so tonight. If Pierce plays, Jeff Green will also not play more than 28 minutes.

Grizzlies will go with the same starting lineup as they did in their previous game. Briante Weber played 35 minutes and should be in line for 28+ minutes again tonight, making Weber is low-end GPP play. Matt Barnes is the biggest offensive threat for the Grizzlies in the starting unit. Barnes only deserves consideration for tournaments against the Timberwolves.

Lance Stephenson (wrist) will be playing tonight off the bench. Lance will be an under-owned option due to the news coming out so late. Stephenson has been playing extremely well and only has one dud in his last six games. With the Grizzlies only having only nine players available, Stephenson should see 25+ minutes against the Timberwolves. Vince Carter continues to be out with a calf injury.

Marco Belinelli will be out against the Pelicans. Darren Collison figures to play over 40 minutes with Rajon Rondo also out of the lineup. James Anderson could start at SG or Seth Curry if George Karl decides to go with two point guards. Look for an update soon as the Kings have not had this many injured guards all season. Caron Butler could also see the floor tonight but he is a risky play.

Zaza Pachulia will remain on the bench for Wednesday’s game with the Cavs. Dirk’s upside rises a bit since his rebounding potential goes up as the center, while Raymond Felton becomes a much stronger value play as he’s a safer bet to clear 30 minutes. Pachulia isn’t a DFS option off the bench.

Willie Cauley-Stein and Marco Belinelli GTD for Wednesday
Willie Cauley-Stein is ill and Marco Belinelli is dealing with a sore ankle. If Cauley-Stein misses the game, Quincy Acy could return to the starting lineup. Omri Casspi also stands to benefit if WCS misses, due to the fact that he has started at PF this season. Kosta Kofous also figures to get some extra run if the Kings needs size against the Pelicans. If Belinelli is ruled out, Seth Curry and James Anderson figure to see the minutes left behind. Belinelli has not played more than 15 minutes since coming back from injury, so there is not much value in Curry and Anderson.

Rajon Rondo will not play tonight against the Pelicans. Darren Collison was already in a good spot, but he’ll take on basically all of the ball-handling duties with Seth Curry being the only viable option behind him. Collison is now arguably the best value/mid-range play on tonight’s slate. DeMarcus Cousins is still in an elite spot while Rudy Gay is also very much in play considering that his price has dropped over the past week.
