Hassan Whiteside misses practice but is traveling with team
The Heat big man missed practice today due to an illness but will travel with the team for their upcoming game. Consider him questionable for now and we’ll update his official status tomorrow when more information is available.
As reported by: Ethan Skolnick on TwitterJahlil Okafor will not play on Wednesday
Okafor is struggling with a shin contusion and general soreness in his right knee and will not play for the 76ers on Wednesday. Nerlens Noel, who is probable for the game, is the biggest beneficiary and Ish Smith will likely benefit as well from the connection he has with Noel. Jerami Grant is also set to benefit from a slight uptick in playing time. If anything changes regarding the status of any of these players before tomorrow’s game, we’ll update it as soon as we hear of it.
As reported by: Jessica Camerato on Twitter Other tagged players: Nerlens Noel, Jerami GrantDraymond Green (illness) starting; Andre Iguodala (hamstring) out
Draymond Green will be playing after receiving an IV today. He said he felt awful when he woke up this morning but seems ready to go. Green will be an under-owned player tonight and is suitable only for tournaments. Green is still a risky play with his salary at $8.5K on DK. Andre Iguodala will miss his second consecutive game with a hamstring injury and Brandon Rush will likely see over 18 minutes again tonight as his replacement.
As reported by: Rusty Simmons Other tagged players: Andre Iguodala, Brandon RushVictor Oladipo (back) will start tonight
Victor Oladipo will start tonight after missing one game with a bruised back. Oladipo will be an under-owned player and should be swapped into your lineups if you can afford it. The Magic will need a big game from Oladipo if they expect to keep it close with the Warriors tonight.
As reported by: Joshua RobbinsNikola Vucevic (groin) out tonight; Jason Smith to start
Nikola Vucevic is a late scratch tonight with a groin injury and Jason Smith will start in his place. Smith should be considered an elite late-swap punt option with his minimum salary on DK. Smith has flashed 30 DKFP upside this season so he is worth a play in tournaments.
As reported by: Joshua Robbins Other tagged players: Jason SmithAndre Iguodala (hamstring) downgraded to doubtful for Monday
Andre Iguodala has been downgraded to doubtful and we will update his status closer to game time. Iguodala did not play last night against the Lakers and Brandon Rush was able to see 21 minutes in his absence. Rush is not a DFS option unless Draymond Green also misses the game. Green is still questionable and we will update his status once it becomes official.
As reported by: Rusty Simmons Other tagged players: Brandon Rush, Draymond GreenNorris Cole (back) confirmed as the starter tonight
Norris Cole will be in the starting lineup tonight against the Kings. He does have a favorable matchup but could be limited with his back injury. With Jrue Holiday starting, he is the stronger play but he will likely be heavily-owned. Still, Holiday is a strong cash game option and presents 50+ DKFP upside for tournaments.
As reported by: Brett Dawson Other tagged players: Jrue HolidaySeth Curry officially ruled out for tonight
Seth Curry has been officially ruled out of tonight’s contest with a foot injury. Curry was not a DFS option and Darren Collison should see all the backup PG minutes.
As reported by: @SacramentoKings Other tagged players: Darren CollisonRajon Rondo and Rudy Gay will both officially play tonight
Both Rondo and Gay have been confirmed for tonight and both are expected to start. The Kings face the Pelicans and both Gay and Rondo should be considered strong options. Gay’s salary has fallen to the lowest point this season but he does have considerable upside in this matchup. With Gay’s status being unofficial all day, he could potentially be under-owned. Rajon Rondo should also be considered an elite option against the Pelicans tonight.
As reported by: James Ham Other tagged players: Rudy GayGrizzlies will start Mario Chalmers, Tony Allen, P.J. Hairston, JaMychal Green, and Ryan Hollins tonight
The Grizzlies have released their official lineups and they will start Chalmers, Allen, Hairston, J. Green, and Hollins. Mario Chalmers should benefit the most with so many Grizzlies injured. Even with Cleveland favored by 15, Chalmers should see a ton of minutes with no other healthy point guards available.
As reported by: Eric HasseltineKosta Koufos (food poisoning) to play tonight
Kosta Koufos will return to the lineup tonight after missing one game with food poisoning. Koufos is a minimum salaried player on both major sites and should be left off your lineups. With the Kings healthy in the frontcourt, Koufos’ upside is severely limited.
As reported by: Jason JonesDraymond Green (illness) likely to play on Monday
Draymond Green has been dealing with an illness for the past two days but will try to play tonight. Green woke up feeling awful so we will confirm his status when it becomes official.
As reported by: Ramona ShelburneNorris Cole (back) expects to play tonight
Norris Cole will warm up with the intent to play but is still a game-time decision. Cole is dealing with a back issue and we will update his status once it is official.
As reported by: John ReidCody Zeller makes for a nice value play with trending stats pointing up
With a lot of studs to pay up for we will need to find some value plays, and sitting at $4,300 on DK and $4,800 on FD is Cody Zeller. Zeller has thrown together some pretty solid games over the last couple weeks. He is averaging nearly 25 DK points per game over the last nine games, and all the trending stats for Zeller are pointing towards that continuing. According to our Trending Stats tool on RotoGrinders, Zeller is averaging 6.55 DK points above his average on the season. Also over the last week his usage rating is 4.77% above his season average and the combination of these two stats is really encouraging. He is consistently seeing between 22-28 minutes per game and has been productive in those minutes. Although he doesn’t necessarily offer the upside you would like to see for GPPs, he is a great cash game value play. At his price we aren’t really looking for huge numbers, and with a couple cheap options at PF tonight it may be a position we think about punting so we can pay up for other players.
E'Twaun Moore to start for Jimmy Butler tonight
E’Twaun Moore will be in the starting lineup tonight replacing the injured Jimmy Butler. Moore should be expected to play over 28 minutes tonight with Justin Holiday as his backup. With Butler out of the lineup, Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol are the main beneficiaries. Nikola Mirotic is also back with the Bulls so he should be expected to help with the scoring load. Butler played one game after missing eleven with an injury to the same knee.
