Marvin Williams

Milwaukee Bucks
2/18/16, 3:16 PM ET

Marvin Williams (neck) questionable for Friday

Marvin Williams is dealing with a strained neck and has been listed as questionable for Friday’s game against the Bucks. If Williams ends up missing the contest, Cody Zeller will likely start in his place. With Spencer Hawes already ruled out and Al Jefferson expected back, Frank Kaminsky would be the backup big man. Look for an update regarding Williams’ status after shootaround tomorrow.

Randy Foye

Brooklyn Nets
2/18/16, 2:34 PM ET

Nuggets trade Randy Foye to Thunder

The Nuggets have traded veteran guard Randy Foye to the Thunder in exchange for D.J. Augustin, Steve Novak, and a couple second round draft picks. Foye doesn’t gain any DFS value in Oklahoma City as his minutes will likely be limited in a deep SG rotation. Augustin could potentially gain more playing time in Denver but we’ll have to wait and see on that one.

Shelvin Mack

Charlotte Hornets
2/18/16, 2:04 PM ET

Shelvin Mack traded to Utah Jazz

Mack was DFS irrelevant in Atlanta and will likely be so in Utah as well as he has to contend with the likes of Raul Neto and Trey Burke in front of him.

Anderson Varejao

Cleveland Cavaliers
2/18/16, 2:13 PM ET

Channing Frye to Cavaliers and Anderson Varajeo to Blazers as part of three-way deal

Not earth shattering trade news but neither player will be available for rostering in DFS tonight (not that you would have done so in the first place) as a result of the deal. Jared Cunningham also goes to the Magic as part of the deal but is expected to be released. Reports have surfaced stating Varajeo will be waived by the Blazers.

Al Jefferson

Indiana Pacers
2/18/16, 1:40 PM ET

Al Jefferson likely to be activated for Friday's game

The Hornets big man has been out awhile now but looks as if he will return in time for the team’s game tomorrow. It’ll be a huge addition to the team as they take on the Bucks but he’ll likely start out with some kind of minutes limitation. The value of Cody Zeller and Marvin Williams take a slight hit as their minutes should drop. Spencer Hawes was already going to miss the next two games but immediately becomes DFS irrelevant with Jefferson’s return. We’ll update you on Jefferson’s status tomorrow when more information becomes available.

Donatas Motiejunas

San Antonio Spurs
2/18/16, 1:28 PM ET

Rockets trade Donatas Motiejunas and Marcus Thornton to Detroit Pistons

Motiejunas and Thornton are going to the Pistons in exchange for Joel Anthony and a draft pick. It’s not a trade that has immediate DFS implications as Motiejunas has been hurt and is unlikely to get big minutes for the Pistons at this time, but it is worth keeping an eye on as Motiejunas has flashed signs of being an above average player when given the opportunity.

Gary Neal

Atlanta Hawks
2/18/16, 12:57 PM ET

Gary Neal doubtful for tonight's game

Neal missed practice yesterday and was not at shootaround this morning so it’s doubtful that he will play tonight. This should mean a few more minutes for the likes of Bradley Beal, Garrett Temple, and Ramon Sessions but not enough to impact any DFS projections significantly as Neal has been playing only about 15 minutes per game when he’s been healthy. We’ll update you on Neal’s status if it changes over the course of the day.

Kevin Love

Utah Jazz
2/18/16, 12:09 PM ET

Kevin Love and Matthew Dellavedova both probable to play tonight

Cavaliers Head Coach Tyronn Lue stated that Kevin Love would play tonight and that Matthew Dellavedova is still probable for their game against the Chicago Bulls. With it being just a three game slate both are options – Love the more preferred of the two as his minutes are more consistent and it’s uncertain how much run Dellavedova will get, even if the game does turn into a blowout. Dellavedova’s return also means Mo Williams will most certainly lose any time in the Cavs rotation thus removing him from any DFS relevance.

Kevin Garnett

Minnesota Timberwolves
2/17/16, 11:11 PM ET

Nikola Pekovic (foot) and Nemanja Bjelica (foot) doubtful for Friday; Kevin Garnett (knee) out

Nikola Pekovic and Nemanja Bjelica are both still dealing with foot injuries, making their status closer to doubtful for Friday. Additionally, Kevin Garnett has already been ruled out. With most of their big men out of the lineup, the Timberwolves will play Karl-Anthony Towns and Gorgui Dieng all the minutes they can handle.

Kevin Martin

San Antonio Spurs
2/17/16, 11:07 PM ET

Kevin Martin (wrist) expected to play on Friday

Kevin Martin has missed the last nine games with a wrist injury but was back at practice today. If he feels fine again tomorrow, Martin will play against the Grizzlies. With Kevin Martin returning, Zach LaVine’s DFS value will take a hit. There is still a possibility that Martin gets traded with the deadline at 3 PM EST tomorrow. If Martin does get traded, LaVine would become a huge fantasy asset for the rest of the season.

Ronnie Price

Phoenix Suns
2/17/16, 10:28 PM ET

Ronnie Price hopeful to play on Friday

Ronnie Price has missed 16 games following his toe surgery but was able to practice today. Price is a low-end DFS option but may see some extended run after the All-Star break with Brandon Knight still out. Price is mainly a defensive player, but he still contributes peripheral stats when he is out there.

Kelly Olynyk

San Antonio Spurs
2/17/16, 8:29 PM ET

Kelly Olynyk (shoulder) expected to be out on Friday and Sunday

Kelly Olynyk will be getting a second opinion on his shoulder which will cause him to miss this weekend’s games. Olynyk’s minutes have been declining in February with Jonas Jerebko and Tyler Zeller seeing a spike in their minutes. With the Celtics actively pursuing trades, Jerebko and Zeller don’t have much DFS value for Friday.

As reported by: Gary Washburn Other tagged players: Jonas Jerebko, Tyler Zeller

Jameer Nelson

Detroit Pistons
2/17/16, 8:01 PM ET

Jameer Nelson (wrist) doubtful for Friday

Jameer Nelson did not practice today and is doubtful for Friday. Nelson has missed all six games in February and has no timetable for a return. Emmanuel Mudiay will continue to be the starter and is an elite option against the Kings on Friday. Since returning from an ankle injury, Mudiay has averaged about 32 minutes in his last 17 games.

As reported by: Chris Dempsey Other tagged players: Emmanuel Mudiay

Darrell Arthur

Phoenix Suns
2/17/16, 7:52 PM ET

Darrell Arthur (quad) expected to play on Friday

Darrell Arthur has missed the last five games with a quad injury but was able to practice today. Arthur should be back in the lineup against the Kings, but is a low-end DFS option on such big slate Friday. Arthur is a better option when there is an injury to the Denver frontcourt.

As reported by: Chris Dempsey

Devin Harris

Dallas Mavericks
2/17/16, 7:40 PM ET

Devin Harris listed as questionable for Friday

Devin Harris was able to go through non-contact drills on Wednesday and has been upgraded to questionable. Harris has missed nine consecutive games and his return would hurt Raymond Felton’s DFS value. Look for an update on Friday on Harris’ status.
