Kobe Bryant (shoulder) questionable for Thursday
The Lakers have listed Kobe Bryant questionable ahead of Thursday’s contest against the Pelicans. The Lakers have been listing Bryant questionable for almost every game lately, so it is more like a GTD than anything. If Bryant misses the game Louis Williams and Jordan Clarkson would be the main beneficiaries. Also, look for D’Angelo Russell to build on the momentum he gained last night from an 18 points, three rebounds, three assists showing.

Draymond Green has high upside vs. the Wizards
The Warriors take on the Wizards tonight in what will likely be an up and down game with the point total being at a crazy 226, one of the highest we have seen this season. This is definitely a game you will want to target tonight, and Draymond Green offers some huge upside. The positional matchup with Washington isn’t ideal, as they are eighth in the league vs. opposing PFs, but Green is one of those guys that is just about as matchup-proof as you can get. He is so versatile and can do so many things on the court that he has that triple-double possibility virtually every night. The only thing to worry about tonight is the blowout factor, which seems like every other game with the Warriors that is something you have to worry about. You will have to pay a pretty penny for him, but he does posses the upside needed to take down a GPP and is in a great spot tonight with such a high-scoring projection.
Noah Vonleh (ankle) doubtful for Thursday
Noah Vonleh is doubtful for Thursday’s game with the Raptors. With Vonleh likely out, the Blazers may end up moving Meyers Leonard into the starting lineup, but could also opt to go small and start either Allen Crabbe or Gerald Henderson. It’s unlikely that Ed Davis draws the start as Terry Stotts seems to be content with bringing his energy off the bench. We’ll update Vonleh’s status after tomorrow’s shootaround, when we should have more information on who may start for him.

Tarik Black (sore left foot) probable for Thursday
Black underwent X-rays today which came back negative, and he’s listed as probable for tomorrow. His presence doesn’t hold much DFS relevance, but he’ll remain behind Julius Randle and Brandon Bass at the PF spot. Black seems to be ahead of Robert Sacre in terms of providing depth at the center spot.

Kevin Martin is questionable for tonight, while Kevin Garnett and Nikola Pekovic remain doubtful. If Martin is unable to go again, Zach LaVine becomes a viable punt play, although his price on the two major DFS outlets has risen to a point where he needs a lot to go right in order to pay off his price tag. He’s probably best left alone unless one of the wings outside of Martin ends up sitting. Shabazz Muhammad may also see a slight uptick in court time if Martin can’t go. With KG/Pek out, look for Gorgui Dieng and Karl-Anthony Towns to continue to see big minutes in the front-court. Both are strong targets against the Clippers front-court tonight, with Dieng having the better point per dollar projection.

DeMarcus Cousins, Rajon Rondo and Ben McLemore all participated in Tuesday’s shootaround, which is a positive sign regarding their status’ for tonight. If Cousins can’t go, Rudy Gay would become a core play in any format, while Kosta Koufos would also become a viable punt play. If Rondo sits, Darren Collison would become an elite play, while McLemore’s absence would lead to more opportunity for Marco Belinelli.

Whiteside has missed the last six games and is questionable to play tonight for the Heat against the Mavericks. The team has also listed Amar’e Stoudemire as the probable starter, which would continue the role he has taken with Whiteside ailing. Stoudemire has been consistent in his last five games putting up an average of 27 FD fpts/game despite averaging only 23 minutes/game. The minutes will be limited for the veteran so the upside is limited but he’s a safe option if you’re looking to get five times his low-mid $4K price tag. We’ll update you on Whiteside when we learn more.

Jameer Nelson and Darrell Arthur OUT for Nuggets tonight
The Nuggets have ruled both Nelson and Arthur as out for their game tonight against the Jazz. Emmanuel Mudiay will continue to start and log the lions share of minutes at PG for the Nuggets but going against the defensive-minded Jazz on a large slate makes him a dart throw GPP option at best. Arthur has seen his playing time diminish of late and wasn’t a viable DFS target but his absence does open up some more minutes for Kenneth Faried, Nikola Jokic, and Jusuf Nurkic. Like Mudiay, there are better options out there tonight although Jokic has flashed some brilliance of late (with 5 games above 35 FD fpts in his last 6) and could be worth a flyer despite an increase in his price across the industry.

The key cogs for the Kings offense are considered questionable for tonight’s game against the Bulls. Both would be great match ups if they are able to play as the Bulls have struggled defensively at every position not manned by Jimmy Butler this season. If Cousins is unable to go, Kosta Koufos would likely get the start with Willie Cauley-Stein seeing more minutes as well. Last game when Cousins didn’t play, Koufos put up 22.2 FanDuel fpts in 30 minutes of play and Cauley-Stein put up 17 FD fpts in 28 minutes. Darren Collison would benefit the most if Rondo sits and would be an elite value option at PG if that were to happen. The last time Rondo didn’t play, Collison put up a double-double against the Mavericks. We’ll update you on the status of these two as soon as we learn more.

The two were previously listed as questionable but Mavericks Head Coach Rick Carlisle has stated that they are out for their game against the Heat. J.J. Barea should get the start and is an elite value option at FanDuel where he is only $3,900. He’s also in play at DraftKings but his price tag is a big higher there at $4,800. Raymond Felton should also see more minutes off the bench and is also in play in the mid 4K’s at both sites. The Heat, who are one of the slower-paced more elite defensive teams in the game, make it a tough match up however as they rank second in PG DvP and are fourth overall in fantasy points allowed per game so temper your expectations when relying on the two veterans.

The Hornets announced that Kemba Walker is out for their game tonight against the Cleveland Cavaliers and that Nicolas Batum is questionable. However there is some good news as Cody Zeller, Jeremy Lin, and Jeremy Lamb will all be available to play. Lin in particular becomes a top option with Walker out as he’ll be in line for extended minutes against a Cavaliers defense that is 17th in PG DvP. Lamb should also receive more playing time with Lin having to man point guard and is a reasonable mid-priced option at SG. Walker’s absence should also be a bump for Cavaliers PG Kyrie Irving who will have a much more favorable option squaring off against Lin and the backup Hornets PG’s.

The Mavericks have listed two of their point guards as questionable for tonight’s game against the Heat. Starter Deron Williams and backup Devin Harris will both be evaluated later today to determine whether they can suit up. Williams is the more important of the two when it comes to DFS as his absence will open up value opportunities via J.J. Barea and Raymond Felton. We’ll update the status of these two later today when we learn more.

Kobe Bryant has been confirmed as starting tonight and makes for a good under-owned option coming off a 43.5 FPs night. The Lakers have been limiting Bryant’s minutes lately so there is a chance he can bust. All thing considered, Bryant’s salary did not go up with the explosion on Sunday and he is cheap enough to where he can exceed expectations on a $5,400 DK salary. Bryant is a good GPP option tonight.

Rajon Rondo is the new Kings player added to the injury report. Rondo has a turf toe and is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Bulls. DeMarcus Cousins was able to go through a light practice today and has chance to return tomorrow. Ben McLemore did not go through practice and is likely to miss another game.

All three players were doubtful coming into the game tonight and all have been ruled out. This will open time for Zach LaVine and Gorgui Dieng. In addition, Karl-Anthony Towns will also see a lot of minutes tonight. The Timberwolves are one team that the Lakers have a chance to stay competitive with so expect a full allotment of minutes.
