C.J. Miles probable for Thursday
Miles may see upwards of 32-34 minutes if the Pacers decide to play small more often with Jordan Hill and Ian Mahinmi out of action. He can be used as a GPP play at the SF spot and his ability to get hot from three point land does give him a nice ceiling relative to his price. His presence slightly downgrades the value of Monta Ellis.

Ian Mahinmi, Jordan Hill out on Thursday
Both Ian Mahinmi and Jordan Hill will sit out Thursday’s game, which opens the door for Lavoy Allen and Myles Turner to see extended run. Allen played 38 minutes last night and is a great bet to see upwards of 28-30 minutes again tonight, but Turner is the appealing GPP option as he’ll carry a lower ownership percentage (assuming he comes off the bench) but has a much higher ceiling if the playing time is split somewhat evenly. Allen is the safer cash game play.

Both Steph Curry and Festus Ezeli are doubtful to face the Rockets tonight. The Warriors were run out of the gym last night without Curry on the court and the offense clearly missed Curry’s ability to open up the floor. Klay Thompson and Draymond Green both struggled a bit to find room to operate and while they both remain nice upside targets tonight, it’s tougher to label them as core plays, especially in GPPs where their ownership levels should remain high. Shaun Livingston also looks like a nice tournament fade, with Andre Iguodala holding more value as a punt play at SF. Iggy ate into the PG minutes last night, as did Ian Clark, so we won’t likely see Livingston logging big minutes. Marresse Speights will once again pick up extra time off the bench with Ezeli out, but he’s not a recommended DFS target.

As expected with the Timberwolves playing the second half of a back-to-back, Kevin Garnett will not play tonight against the Pistons. Garnett hasn’t been a viable DFS option for a while now but it does mean a few additional minutes for Gorgui Dieng who is worthy of consideration in GPP’s.

Tim Duncan will play on Saturday
The Spurs have announced that Duncan will play Saturday against the Rockets. Duncan has been consistent in the 20-30 fantasy point range but doesn’t have the upside to be worthy of consideration in DFS at his current price tag and role with the Spurs.

The Hornets have released an injury report in advance of their game on Friday night. Spencer Hawes, Jeremy Lin, and Nicolas Batum are all questionable. We’ll update their injury status tomorrow as the situation becomes more clear.

The Indiana Pacers have released their injury report for today’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Jordan Hill is the most unlikely to play as he is doubtful after having dental work done the other day. Ian Mahinmi and C.J. Miles are both questionable. If Hill is unable to go, Mahinmi benefits the most. However, if both Hill and Mahinmi can’t play then Lavoy Allen becomes an elite value option across the industry. We’ll update you on the status of these three players as more information comes in.

There was no shootaround for the Warriors today but the team has listed their star Stephen Curry and C Festus Ezeli as questionable for tonight’s game in Houston. Updates on their status won’t come until later and we’ll update you as soon as we learn more. Curry’s availability has a huge impact obviously as the Warriors are a completely different team without him (as evidenced by their poor performance last night). If Curry is unable to go, it does open up Shaun Livingston as a value play again but he’s hard to trust after his outing last night.

The Kings have listed Kosta Koufos was questionable for tonight’s contest, but now looks like he is going to play. Koufus’ return will give the Kings a legit big man backup tonight to spell Cousins. Cousins is still an elite DFS option tonight against the Sixers. Quincy Acy played well in his last game with Cousins ejected, but he does not have an offensive game and relies on defensive stats to make his impact. Acy’s DFS value would be worthless with Koufos returning.

Damian Lillard out on Wednesday
Damian Lillard will miss another game with his plantar fasciitis issue. Look for C.J. McCollum to be an elite option tonight against the Denver Nuggets. Allen Crabbe should also be a good option tonight, with most of the Blazers offense going through the guards.

Kirk Hinrich is a late addition to the starting lineup with Derrick Rose being scratched. Hinrich is not much of a DFS option against the defense of George Hill. Look for Aaron Brooks to get extended minutes tonight as well. Since Derrick Rose was scratched after the lock, Brooks is only an option on DraftKings.

Shaun Livingston has been inserted into the starting lineup for the Warriors tonight. Steph Curry will miss his first game of the season making Livingston a chalky punt option tonight. With Livingston $3,500 on DK he will likely be over 50% owned in GPP’s but should be considered a free space in cash games. Andre Iguodala and Ian Clark will man the backup PG minutes for the Warriors tonight.

Otto Porter returns to the starting lineup tonight against the Raptors. Porter had a strong game with 39 FPs in his last showing, but will be going against DeMarre Carroll tonight. Porter is a mid-range option against the tough defense of the Raptors which will cap his ceiling. Porter will likely still be needed as an offensive threat due to all the injuries the Wizards have on their roster.

C.J. Miles will miss another game with his back injury. Lavoy Allen will get the start in his place and Myles Turner will get some extra minutes behind him. Lavoy Allen has been starting C.J. Miles but put up a dud in his last game. Allen is tough to recommend against the defense of Taj Gibson.

Derrick Rose was a last-minute scratch tonight against the Pacers. Look for Jimmy Butler to have added responsibilities with Rose out. Kirk Hinrich will start in Rose’s place, but is an iffy late-swap option against the defense of George Hill. Butler will likely play over 35 minutes and have to guard Paul George on the defensive end as well.
