Deron Williams ruled OUT for tonight
We reported earlier that Deron Williams was questionable to play in the Mavericks game against the Warriors. He’s now been ruled out by the team. Raymond Felton and J.J. Barea are the biggest beneficiaries of this news and both are excellent value options against the fast-paced Warriors. Felton has scored 20 or more FanDuel fantasy points in 11 of his last 12 games including 50 total over the last two. Barea has scored an impressive 98 fantasy points over the last three games with Williams out, although his last time out he only scored 16.7 – still he has shown the potential to put up a big game which makes him an excellent GPP play.

Festus Ezeli out, Stephen Curry questionable for tonight
The Warriors have announced that Festus Ezeli is out for their game tonight against the Dallas Mavericks. Additionally, league MVP Stephen Curry is questionable (team said it is highly unlikely he plays) and is currently undergoing an MRI on his left leg. Curry’s absence would open up all kinds of value, mainly in the form of Shaun Livingston. Ezeli’s absence could possibly mean more minutes for Marreese Speights as the team always seem reluctant to give Andrew Bogut too much time on the floor. We’ll keep you updated on Curry’s status throughout the day as more information is released.

The Mavericks guard is looking as if he might play tonight against Golden State after taking part in the team shootaround this morning. It would be the end of the solid J.J. Barea value run if that were the case. Williams himself would make for an intriguing GPP play against the fast-paced Warriors who are 22nd in PG DvP. We’ll updated Deron’s status as we learn more.

McDermott took part in the team shootaround this morning and is a game time decision for the Bulls in their game against the Indiana Pacers. McDermott is too inconsistent to be a viable DFS option and the Pacers are top ten in terms of fantasy points allowed per game.

The Jazz forward missed shootaround and is considered questionable for their game against the Timberwolves. Minnesota is 7th in PF DvP so even if Favors does go it’s not the greatest match up. Jeff Withey, however, would be an excellent value option if he gets the start again if Favors doesn’t play. We’ll update you on Favors status later as more information becomes available.

Hornets Head Coach Clifford stated that Jeremy Lin and Spencer Hawes are both out for their game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Al Jefferson and Nicolas Batum are also questionable and we’ll update their status when it becomes available. With so much uncertainty at this point it’s hard to predict who will benefit the most. Jeremy Lamb could be a sneaky GPP play with Lin unavailable. Others that could possibly benefit include Frank Kaminsky, Cody Zeller, and P.J. Hairston.

It wasn’t the ankles that kept Payton from practicing this morning but rather an illness. His status for tonight’s game is uncertain and we’ll update you throughout the day as we learn more. If he does play, it’s a good match up for the Magic point guard as the Nets are 26th in PG DvP. If he does sit, Victor Oladipo would likely benefit the most and would be an excellent GPP play at his now reduced price.

Matthew Dellavedova will make another start tonight for the resting Kyrie Irving. On such a small slate Dellavedova will be a chalky play against the weak PG defense of the Nuggets. Look for Delly to find Tristan Thompson a lot tonight with Thompson also in the starting lineup. Dellavedova has Jameer Nelson guarding him, so there is a good chance he exceeds value tonight.

Terrence Jones officially ruled out on Tuesday
Terrence Jones has been officially ruled out of tonight’s contest and his absence gives a boost to Clint Capela. Capela should see some extended minutes against Paul Millsap with Donatas Motiejunas also likely to reach over 20 minutes. Jones was questionable all day so this news is not surprising.

The Grizzlies will have Zach Randolph returning to the starting lineup tonight against the Heat. Look for Randolph to have a solid game against a tired Chris Bosh. Randolph was noted as most likely to start today, so hopefully your lineup was built around it if you wanted him in there, but he is still a good late-swap option. Randolph’s return to the starting lineup negatively affects Marc Gasol’s ceiling, and both players will have to deal with the size of the Heat inside.

The Bucks have listed John Henson as available to play tonight, but he is still a tough DFS option to recommend. Henson is struggling with elbow and back injuries and is best left off your roster. Look for Miles Plumlee and Johnny O’Bryant to get the backup big man minutes tonight.

Warriors Coach Luke Walton mentioned that Steph Curry has a chance to sit out the next two games with a leg issue. Curry missed today’s practice along with Draymond Green and Festus Ezeli, making all three players game-time decisions. Shaun Livingston would likely start in Curry’s play and would be an elite option on Wednesday. Klay Thompson would also see a bump in value due to the increased offensive workload. Look for an update early tomorrow as the Warriors travel to Dallas.

Jerryd Bayless will once again play tonight, after making his return last night from an ankle injury. Bayless returns to the lineup on fire and cut into Michael Carter-Williams playing time. Bayless had 19 points and 7 assists in 27 minutes, and will look to keep the hot shooting going tonight. Michael Carter-Williams is still the starter, but look for both PGs to be in a time share going forward. With the Bucks facing the Thunder, MCW is likely to be on the court longer tonight due to his length and ability to guard Russell Westbrook better than Bayless can. John Henson dressed last night and should still available from the bench tonight. Even if Henson does play he will be an iffy DFS play as he is struggling with back and elbow injuries.

Dwyane Wade has confirmed that he will be playing tonight, after being listed as questionable all day. Justise Winslow will miss another game with his ankle injury. The Heat travel to Memphis to face the Grizzlies tonight on the second night of a back-to-back. This is the 4th game in 5 nights for the Heat, so be careful when deploying one of the oldest teams in the league. With Winslow missing the game, Gerald Green should continue to see consistent minutes with Tyler Johnson also getting back into the fold.

Damian Lillard is listed as questionable for tomorrow’s game with the Nuggets. He’s going to see how his left foot feels Wednesday morning, test it during the Blazers’ shootaround and determine his status then. If he sits out another game, C.J. McCollum remains an elite target in all formats, while Allen Crabbe holds value as a GPP punt play. Denver will be on the back-end of a B2B, so Portland is in a nice spot tomorrow night.
