Raul Neto starting instead of Alec Burks tonight
The Jazz will change up their lineup again and go with their normal starting PG, Raul Neto. Neto does not provide much DFS value and not a great DFS option against the Spurs. Alec Burks did perform well last night, but the Jazz were not able to secure a victory. Burks demotion to the bench hurts his value slightly, but he was not a great choice tonight anyways against the Spurs.

Tony Wroten to start at PG without minutes restriction
Wroten is finally off his minutes restriction and becomes an elite play across the industry. Jameer Nelson is still the safer bet if you are punting a PG spot, but Wroten has arguably one of the highest ceilings of the day relative to his price. He’s an elite target in all formats tonight. T.J. McConnell’s role should diminish quite a bit.

Richaun Holmes starting over Nerlens Noel
Richaun Holmes will be starting in place of the injured Nerlens Noel tonight. He is a $3k player on DraftKings and has produced in limited minutes. He makes for a viable punt play and would likely play even if there was a blowout against the Bulls. He does have a tough matchup against the defensive Taj Gibson, but his minimum price salary could help get another stud into your lineup.

Tony Allen will be sitting out again tonight with his knee injury. Look for Courtney Lee to get a ton of run and be able to provide solid value on his $3,900 DK salary. Lee does have a strong matchup against Garrett Temple and Gary Neal, the two shooting guards for the Wizards. Even though the Grizzlies played last night, they should be able to feed off the energy in the Grind House tonight.
Dwyane Wade still expected to play Monday
Wade (fatigue) is expected to play tonight against the Hawks. With Tyler Johnson out, it’ll be tough for the Heat to rest Wade tonight. He’s expected to play his regular allotment of minutes, but the match-up makes him a GPP-only target on tonight’s 10 game slate. If Wade is ruled out before tip, Chris Bosh would get a big boost in value, as would Gerald Green. We’ll confirm the Heat starters when we have an official lineup.

We had an alert featuring the consistency of Deron Williams on Saturday, but he was scratched at the last minute because of an illness. The same thing applies today, and is in another great matchup vs. Phoenix. Here is what we wrote Saturday: “Deron Williams has posted at least 35 fantasy points in eight of the Mavericks’ last ten outings and has been extremely consistent over the past month…Although he does not have that high of a ceiling, he makes up for it for having a very high floor and that is just what you are looking for in cash games. With the recent return of JJ Barea it might ding Williams’s value just a bit, but not enough to ignore him at this price as Williams still played 36 minutes in the first game of Barea’s return…” Williams is again in a great spot tonight with the Suns playing at a very fast pace, and allowing the 4th most points to opposing PGs. The game has the highest over/under of the day so look for a fast-paced, high scoring game where Williams will likely approach and hopefully exceed value.
Kent Bazemore to start over Thabo Sefolosha Monday
Kent Bazemore has been inserted back into the starting lineup replacing Thabo Sefolosha. Bazemore had been running hot before he put up a dud against the Spurs two nights ago. Bazemore sits at $5,000 on DraftKings and could make for an interesting mid-range priced option. The Hawks face the Heat tonight in what should be a low-scoring affair.

Allen Crabbe has been fantastic as of late coming off the bench for the Portland Trail Blazers. Backing up the explosive duo of CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard has been great for Crabbe as he is playing big minutes and producing during those minutes. Over the last 7 games Crabbe is averaging 22FPPG and has been very efficient from the field. Tonight he gets a great matchup vs. the Pelicans who are 2nd to last and 4th to last in guarding opposing PGs and SGs respectively. Both teams play at a fairly fast pace and they have the highest over/under of the night. With several other popular guard picks around Crabbe’s price point such as Courtney Lee, Ramon Sessions, or Garrett Temple, Crabbe will likely be low-owned and is a good punt play in cash and GPPs.
Ryan Anderson returns tonight after missing 2 games with illness
Ryan Anderson returns after missing two games with a stomach illness. Anderson had been playing well prior to missing the games by scoring 30 or more FPs in 3 of 4 contests. The Pelicans want to play uptempo and the Trail Blazers won’t be able to stop the push since this is their third game in four nights. Anderson will likely be an under-owned guy with the questionable status still currently next to his name.

The Nuggets take on the Rockets tonight in Denver in what should be a high-scoring affair. Gallinari has faced the Rockets already twice this season and is averaging 41.12 FPs on DK against them. With Emmanuel Mudiay ruled out of this contest, Gallinari will be forced to carry a larger offensive burden. Gallinari has averaged 36 FPs over his last three games even though he has been dealing with a bone bruise in his knee. In a game that has the highest projected total points (209.5), look for Gallinari to get a ton of opportunities to score.
Jordan Clarkson to return Tuesday, D'Angelo Russell to the bench
Jordan Clarkson was able to go through a full practice and is going to play on Tuesday against the Bucks. Clarkson’s return sends D’Angelo Russell back to the bench after a couple nice spot starts. The Bucks are banged up in the backcourt so Clarson does have a chance to play well against Khris Middleton. On a four-game slate Clarkson is to be considered a GPP option.

Barnes is out all week and will be reevaluated next week. The Warriors only play two games this week so he may not miss much more action, but Brandon Rush and Andre Iguodala will continue to see an uptick in value until he returns. Rush isn’t playing big enough minutes to be a real DFS option, and it’s unfortunate that Andre Iguodala’s playing time hasn’t spiked much either (outside of the Boston game). Iguodala will continue to be a GPP option as long as Barnes is sidelined since he has the ability to fill up the stat sheet even in 23-28 minutes.

This means Zach Randolph will continue to come off the bench. His minutes may not take a huge hit but it makes him much tougher to target for DFS purposes, and basically takes him out of consideration as a cash game option. The Grizzlies take on another team that likes to play small tonight in the Wizards, so Matt Barnes should see plenty of run at PF and both he and Jeff Green remain elite value targets in this lineup. Courtney Lee’s minutes may take a dip if Tony Allen returns, but all five starters should see big minutes tonight. Gasol, Green and Barnes are the three top targets here.

The Rockets big man missed shootaround this morning and is considered questionable for tonight’s game against the Denver Nuggets. If Capela is able to go, it’s a great match up as the Nuggets are 28th in the league in center DvP. His price has come up quite a bit though and he doesn’t get enough playing time (averaging 24 minutes/game the last 5 games) to be considered for anything more than GPP’s. If Capela is unable to go, look for Terrence Jones to pick up the slack and he’d be an elite option at his current price tag (assuming he gets the start).

Jerryd Bayless and Grievis Vasquez out for next four games
Bucks Head Coach Jason Kidd stated that Jerry Bayless and Grievis Vasquez will not travel west for the teams four game road trip. O.J. Mayo will continue to start at the point guard position and Michael Carter-Williams should continue to get nearly 30 minutes a game off the bench.
