Shane Larkin will play tonight
Larkin, who was questionable with an eye injury suffered in the team’s last game, will play tonight against the Orlando Magic. The Magic are 19th in PG DvP and Larkin has shown tremendous upside when he gets 20+ minutes in a game. In his last nine games he has topped that mark six times and has topped 26 DraftKings fantasy points four times in those games. His price has come up since then, however, making him not as great a play as he was a week ago. He’s still worthy of inclusion in GPP’s though if you are looking to punt a position to pay up for higher-priced players.

Nerlens Noel out for tonight's game
Nerlens Noel will not play tonight against the Chicago Bulls due to an injured eye suffered in the team’s last game. Noel’s absence is actually a significant boost to multiple players on the 76’ers according to nbawowy as Jahlil Okafor, Jerami Grant, Isaiah Canaan, and Robert Covington all see a substantial boost in their fantasy points/minute when Noel does not play. Covington’s price tag is a bit high now making him only a GPP play. Okafor has been red-hot of late and still has a reasonable price tag and the Bulls are 25th in center DvP so he’s the preferred option of the bunch as Canaan and Grant are just too inconsistent to be trusted.

The Charlotte Hornets reported that Al Jefferson practiced today and could return to action tomorrow after missing the last six games. His return would be a huge boost to the Hornets in general although it would be a hit to Cody Zeller who would see his playing time greatly diminished. We’ll update Jefferson’s status tomorrow as we learn more.

After missing the last game due to illness, the Mavericks have reported that Deron Williams will play tonight against the Phoenix Suns after successfully going through morning shootaround. Williams is an excellent option going against the fast-paced Suns who rank #26 in PG DvP in a game that has one of the highest Vegas totals of the day.

Hawks Head Coach Mike Budenholzer stated that he expects both Tiago Splitter and Mike Scott to dress and be available to play in tonight’s game against the Miami Heat. Neither get enough playing time to be viable DFS targets and don’t negatively impact the players that do get playing time to be a DFS concern.

The Miami Heat have announced that Tyler Johnson will not play in tonight’s game against the Atlanta Hawks due to an injured shoulder. This will be his third straight game not playing and should benefit Gerald Green the most as it’s generally him and Johnson who split time off the bench. The Hawks are middle of the pack (17th) in SG DvP. Green can score but doesn’t do enough outside of that to be considered an elite value option tonight. He is a secondary GPP target at best.

Burks will start for the Jazz Sunday against the Thunder, and Neto will finally head to the bench. Burks makes for an excellent play at the always tough to fill SG position. He is just $5,300 on FD, and $5,100 on DK. He will run the PG duties with the starting lineup. He has scored in double figures in six out of his last seven games.

Tony Allen out Sunday
Allen hurt his knee during warmups and will miss Sunday’s game against the Heat. Starting in his place will be Courtney Lee. He is a GPP punt play only. Lee is a decent scorer, but he doesn’t fill up the other categories. In his last 85 minutes of play; he has just 6 rebounds and 2 assists. He is just $3,700 on FD, and $3,900 on DK.

The Grizzlies have made a couple changes to their starting lineup on Sunday. Matt Barnes will start for Zach Randolph. Barnes makes for a very nice punt play. He is just $4,100 on FD, and $4,300 on DK. Barnes has been playing pretty well as of late, averaging 23 FD points and 27 minutes over his last two games. Not sure why Randolph is coming off the bench, but you can ignore him for your lineups. Courtney Lee will also start for Tony Allen, who hurt himself during warmups. Lee is a GPP punt play only, he is a decent scorer, but he doesn’t fill up the stat sheet.

McRoberts will miss his second straight game with a knee injury. There isn’t a whole lot of fantasy impact with this news. Amar’e Stoudemire may see some extra minutes, and Luol Deng could play some at the four spot. You can ignore both for your fantasy lineups. Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade are the plays for the Heat tonight.

Ever since Rudy Gobert has been out with a knee injury, a few players have benefitted from extra playing time but most notably is Gordon Hayward. Over the last 6 games Gobert has been out Hayward has been averaging nearly 40FPPG in 37MPG. He has been very hot as of late and the Utah Jazz play an up-tempo game today vs. the Thunder. The Jazz played the Thunder on Friday and Hayward played 38 minutes finishing with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Hopefully we can expect a similar performance on Sunday as Hayward has actually been very consistent as of late. On a short slate like today it is good to have consistency with your high-priced players and Hayward is a great option sitting right around the $7,000 mark.
Emmanuel Mudiay out Monday
Mudiay didn’t practice on Sunday because of an ankle injury and will miss Monday’s game against the Rockets. With him out, Jameer Nelson will likely get the start for the Nuggets. On Friday with Mudiay hurt, Nelson played out of his mind. In 38 minutes, he scored 20 points, brought down 6 rebounds, and dished out 7 assists. He will make for a very nice punt play on Monday.

Goran Dragic has been up and down throughout the season, and that has kept his price depressed close to $5,000. He is the type of player that is either boom or bust and tonight could be a boom night for Dragic on such a short slate. The matchup vs. the Grizzlies may discourage people from taking Dragic tonight, but the Grizzlies are surprisingly bad at defending the PG allowing the 5th most PPG to PGs at almost 48FPPG. He will likely be low-owned because of the depth at PG tonight and the deceiving matchup vs. the Grizzlies but could make for a sneaky high-upside GPP play tonight at his price point.
Tyson Chandler will play, but come off the bench
Chandler will make his return to game action after missing a handful of games. He will not start, but come off the bench on Sunday. Don’t think about putting him in your DFS lineups yet; he’s not going to get his normal minutes. With him returning this hurts the value of Alex Len. He has been playing pretty well of late. You could still use him as a GPP punt play, but not in cash games.

The 76ers are resting Wroten for the second straight game. McConnell will be back in the starting lineup for the 76ers today. Kendall Marshall returned for the 76ers, but he is on a minutes limit. McConnell could make for a good play today; he has averaged 24 FD points over his last two games. With the studs at PG today, most will pay up for both PG spots, but for a GPP you could punt your second PG with McConnell. He is $5,000 on FD and $4,600 on DK.
