Tyler Ennis ruled out Friday with shoulder injury
The Bucks have ruled out Tyler Ennis out with shoulder soreness and Jerryd Bayless will be starting in his place. Bayless will get the start, but there is no real chance he can stay in front of Reggie Jackson, so if Michael Carter-Williams can make a defensive impact he’ll likely close out the game. Bayless and MCW are both risky GPP options tonight.
As reported by: cfgardner on TwitterOtto Porter GPP option tonight
The Wizards are playing tonight with basically no front court depth. Otto Porter has been slumping lately, so something has to give. The minutes are likely going to be there and Porter can even play the 4 with Dudley moving to the 5 in a small-ball lineup. Porter has been averaging 37 minutes in his last three games, and tonight’s game has the highest implied total of the night. Give Porter a look with his price down $500 from the peak of $5,800.
Markieff Morris will play on Friday
While Tyson Chandler will miss another game, Markieff Morris will play on Friday. His presence makes it tougher to roster the likes of Jon Leuer and Mirza Teletovic, both of whom were looking like very solid value targets had he sat out. With the Suns likely to spend a lot of time playing small, Leuer and Teletovic are still viable GPP options. Alex Len is expected to start for Tyson Chandler, but he may not see more than 20 minutes against a Wizards squad that doesn’t boast any real post presence.
As reported by: @SunsBballComm Other tagged players: Jon Leuer, Mirza TeletovicDrew Gooden also ruled out for the Wizards tonight
Drew Gooden has been ruled out of tonight’s contest with a calf injury. The Wizards frontcourt depth is basically only three players and they project to get a ton of minutes. Jared Dudley, DeJuan Blair, and Ryan Hollins. The Wizards and Suns might go into a small ball game with all the injuries to both sides.
As reported by: Wizards on TwitterNo Nene, Kris Humphries and Marcin Gortat tonight for the Wizards
The Wizards have ruled out all three big men from the lineup tonight against the Suns. Ryan Hollins is likely to start at C and would make for a great punt play at his minimum price. Hollins is likely to see all the minutes he can handle with DeJuan Blair being the big man off the bench. Jared Dudley will start at PF and also makes for an excellent punt play with his salary on DK still under $4k.
As reported by: Tim BontempsNene, Gooden both closer to doubtful for Friday
The Wizards will be very thin in the front-court tonight with Marcin Gortat away from the team. It doesn’t help matters that both Drew Gooden and Nene Hilario are not expected to play, which leaves Ryan Hollins, DeJuan Blair and Jared Dudley as the only healthly bodies in the front-court. Kris Humphries is listed as questionable and would be a really nice value option if he’s active, but his status is also in doubt for tonight. The Wizards play in the first game of the night, so we should have clarity on this situation before lineup lock.
As reported by: AZCentral.com Other tagged players: Nene Hilario, Kris HumphriesChris Paul out on Saturday, J.J. Redick questionable
Chris Paul will miss yet another game tomorrow night, while J.J. Redick is still listed as questionable, but is tentatively expected to sit out as well. With CP3 out, expect Austin Rivers, Jamal Crawford and Lance Stephenson to continue to see a bigger role in the offense. Stephenson posted 19 points against the Pacers on Wednesday, but did so with Redick missing basically all of the game, and his 8-11 shooting from the field is certainly fluky. Stephenson, Rivers and Crawford are all viable tournament plays with Paul out, while Blake Griffin is an elite play across all formats.
As reported by: Dan Woike on Twitter Other tagged players: Lance Stephenson, Austin Rivers, Jamal CrawfordNikola Mirotic questionable, Noah to start?
Nikola Mirotic is questionable for tomorrow’s game and while Head Coach Fred Hoiberg wouldn’t say who would start in his absence, Joakim Noah did practice with the starters today. We’ll update tomorrow as we hear more.
As reported by: K.C. Johnson on TwitterTyson Chandler out, Markieff Morris questionable for tonight's game
The Suns starting center will miss his fourth straight game and Morris is questionable for tonight. Alex Len is in play as a value option at center (and should do well as long as he can avoid foul trouble) and if Morris doesn’t play, Jon Leuer could be in for another big night as he put up 42 DK fpts in 38 minutes on Wednesday when Morris sat.
As reported by: Paul Coro on TwitterJerryd Bayless to start tonight
Bucks Head Coach Jason Kidd said at this mornings shootaround that Jerryd Bayless would get the start tonight. This comes one game after Bayless burned numerous DFS players when he didn’t play a single minute. He’s in play as a GPP option but buyer beware.
As reported by: CF Gardner on TwitterRyan Hollins expected to start for the Wizards
With Marcin Gortat out due to a family emergency, Ryan Hollins is expected to get the start at center. At minimum price, there is reason to look to him as a value/punt play but it’s hard to trust someone who has only played one game and 10 minutes for the team thus far this season. He’s a dart throw at best and there are better options on the Wizards (Jared Dudley for example) to look at.
As reported by: J. Michael on TwitterSeveral Wizards miss shootaround
Nene Hilario, Drew Gooden, and Kris Humphries all missed the Wizards shootaround this morning with various ailments and all are considered questionable for tonight’s game. With Marcin Gortat already ruled out, it could be a very thin bench for the team which would give their starters and the few key reserves all a bump in minutes. We’ll update you on the official status of these three when more information becomes available.
As reported by: Jorge Castillo Other tagged players: Drew Gooden, Kris HumphriesTiago Splitter questionable for tonight's game
While it still remains unlikely that Splitter will play tonight, the team has upgraded him to questionable so there is a chance that he might suit up. Splitter had only topped 20 minutes three times on the season so regardless of whether he plays or not, he isn’t a option in DFS and is only worth mentioning as it’d be a slight hit in terms of minutes player for players like Al Horford.
As reported by: KL Chouinard on TwitterDwight Howard not playing tonight
The Rockets big man has stated that he will not be playing tonight. Clint Capela and Terrence Jones should be the biggest beneficiaries of Howard sitting and both are in play with just six games on tap for the evening.
As reported by: Dwain Price on TwitterOmri Casspi out tonight with gastroenteritis.
Omri Casspi has been ruled out tonight which could mean extended minutes for Rudy Gay. Marco Belinelli and Darren Collison will get the bench minutes left behind by Casspi. This should be a high scoring game so all three players are good options tonight.
