Ish Smith to start for Pelicans tonight, Jrue Holiday out

Jrue Holiday will not play tonight and according to the Pelicans projected starting lineup, Ish Smith will get the start joining Tyreke Evans, Alonso Gee, Anthony Davis, and Alexis Ajinca. It’s tough to trust Smith considering Norris Cole is available off of the bench but he’s proven to be a valuable DFS commodity this season when he gets the minutes.

Kirk Hinrich

Kirk Hinrich doubtful, Aaron Brooks game time decision, for tonight's game

Bulls Head Coach Fred Hoiberg stated that Kirk Hinrich was doubtful to play tonight and that Aaron Brooks would be a game time decision. The Bulls are prohibitive favorites against the Nuggets tonight making it hard to roster any of them in cash games. All of the starters are in play as GPP options however.

Marcus Morris

New York Knicks

Marcus Morris misses shootaround but expected to play

The Pistons forward missed shootaround this morning but stated that he is going to play tonight – not surprising considering they are facing his former team, the Suns. Morris is an excellent option at his price point, especially at an always difficult small forward position.

Jeremy Lin

Golden State Warriors
12/02/15, 12:27 PM ET

Jeremy Lin will attempt to play tonight

Hornets Head Coach Cliff stated that Jeremy Lin will attempt to play with his sprained right ankle tonight against the Warriors. Lin is moderately priced across the industry but isn’t consistent enough in terms of playing time or production to be considered an option for DFS purporse.

Thabo Sefolosha

Houston Rockets
12/02/15, 12:14 PM ET

Thabo Sefolosha to start again tonight

The Hawks have announced that they will run with the same starting lineup they ran last time out which means Thabo Sefolosha will start with Kent Bazemore coming off the bench. Sefolosha played a whopping 39 minutes last time out. Despite not scoring any points, Sefolosha hit value with peripheral stats. You can do worse as a value play, especially if he gets 35+ minutes. Bazemore is priced higher and is not in play.

Raymond Felton

Oklahoma City Thunder
12/01/15, 11:08 PM ET

Raymond Felton starting Tuesday, J.J. Barea out again

Raymond Felton will be in the starting lineup for the resting Chandler Parsons. Felton makes for an elite late swap option with his salary. There is a small concern that he will be tired after playing two nights in a row, look for Devin Harris to get a good amount of run as well by being the first guard of the bench.

Chandler Parsons

Atlanta Hawks
12/01/15, 10:10 PM ET

Chandler Parsons out, resting Tuesday

The Mavs have ruled out Chandler Parsons for tonight’s game against the Trail Blazers. The Mavericks are on the second night of a back-to-back and will be resting Parsons. His replacement starter has not been named, but most likely it will be Raymond Felton, moving Wes Matthews to the SF.

Ricky Rubio

Cleveland Cavaliers
12/01/15, 8:56 PM ET

Ricky Rubio starting Tuesday, Zach LaVine to the bench

Ricky Rubio is back in the starting lineup after missing a couple games with an ankle injury. Rubio’s return kills Zach LaVine’s value, and Rubio is only a GPP late swap play only tonight. Rubio should have a decent night tonight but there are other options available in his price range.

Damian Lillard

Portland Trail Blazers
12/01/15, 8:31 PM ET

Damian Lillard upgraded to probable tonight

Damian Lillard has been upgraded to probable and consecutive games streak should remain intact. Lillard is an elite option against the Mavericks. His questionable status being upgraded makes him an under-owned player in the all day slate and a good late-swap play.

Jrue Holiday

Portland Trail Blazers
12/01/15, 8:16 PM ET

Jrue Holiday to play Tuesday, sit out Wednesday

Coach Alvin Gentry says he is trying to go for the win tonight and will play Holiday much he can. The situation for the Pelicans is extremely muddy and Holiday should be avoided. With Eric Gordon also coming off the bench the Pelicans will have most of their options returning.

Tyreke Evans

Indiana Pacers
12/01/15, 8:09 PM ET

Tyreke Evans and Norris Cole should not have a minutes restriction

Tyreke Evans and Norris Cole are returning from injury so it is unclear how many minutes they will play. Both should be expected to see around 25 minutes against the Grizzlies. Cole is a non-factor currently with Evans really the only intriguing prospect. Evans will have to put up some production before being recommended.

Anthony Davis

Washington Wizards
12/01/15, 7:55 PM ET

Pelicans expected to start Holiday, Evans, Gee, Davis, Ajinca

Given the changes the Pelicans have announced to the starting lineup, they seemingly will start Jrue Holiday, Tyreke Evans, Alonzo Gee, Anthony Davis and Alexis Ajinca. This leads to Eric Gordon coming off the bench in addition to Ish Smith, Ryan Anderson and Omer Asik, so the Pelicans do have some notable firepower on the second unit. With the rotation now much more crowded, it’s best to avoid the Pelicans outside of Anthony Davis (in GPPs only) tonight.

Tyreke Evans

Indiana Pacers
12/01/15, 7:40 PM ET

Tyreke Evans will start, but will be limited to 25 mins; E. Gordon off the bench

Evans will start, but he’ll be limited to 25 minutes. Eric Gordon will now come off the bench in an effort to get more of a scoring punch with the second unit. We’re going to need to see things play out for a few games in the Pelicans backcourt before recommending anyone as a potential DFS option. Jrue Holiday, Ish Smith, Evans and Gordon will all be competing for minutes, with Norris Cole also in the mix. Avoid this back-court tonight.

Tyreke Evans

Indiana Pacers
12/01/15, 7:39 PM ET

Tyreke Evans and Alexis Ajinca to start Tuesday

Tyreke Evans will be starting in place of Eric Gordon and Alexis Ajinca will send Omer Asik to the bench. Asik holds no value while Ajinca gets a slight boost by entering the starting lineup. Eric Gordon loses some value by going to the bench but will still get a good amount of playing time since Evans is on minutes restriction.

Tyreke Evans

Indiana Pacers
12/01/15, 7:33 PM ET

Tyreke Evans and Norris Cole will play tonight

Tyreke Evans and Norris Cole are both expected to make their season debut tonight at home. The return of Cole and Evans really makes the New Orleans backcourt tough to recommend. Jrue Holiday, Ish Smith, and Eric Gordon all take a hit in their DFS value. Evans and Cole are not expected to play significant minutes so they should be avoided as well.
