Kirk Hinrich out, Aaron Brooks will be a GTD
Kirk Hinrich will not play tonight, and Aaron Brooks will go through warm-ups to see if he’s able to suit up tonight. If Brooks also ends up sitting out, E’Twaun Moore will see minutes as the backup PG behind Derrick Rose. Rose is back to playing consistent minutes, but he’s yet to truly explode over his last 10 or so games. He is in a good spot tonight against a very defensively challenged Nuggets backcourt, giving him nice against-the-grain upside.

Nerlens Noel starting for suspended Jahlil Okafor
The 76ers will start Canaan, Covington, Sampson, Grant, and Noel against the Knicks tonight. Nerlens Noel makes for a great play at PF and is coming off a 30 FPs night. The Knicks have the 4th lowest FG% of any team in the league so there will be a ton of rebounds to go around. Look for Noel to outplay Robin Lopez and help out on Kristaps Porzingis.

Luol Deng (hamstring) and Amar'e Stoudemire (knee/rest) as questionable for tomorrow
The Heat have listed Deng and Stoudemire questionable for Thursday’s game against the Thunder. Look for Gerald Green to make another start if Deng does indeed miss the game. Green is not an elite option against Kevin Durant and Stoudemire’s absence may open some extra minutes for Josh McRoberts.

Jahlil Okafor has been suspended two games by the Sixers, which will take effect immediately. He won’t be in uniform tonight, which sets up Nerlens Noel, Jerami Grant and Robert Covington for big minutes and gives them added offensive responsibility. Noel will likely slide back into the starting lineup tonight to replace Okafor, which would mean that Covington, Grant and Jakarr Sampson will start at the SG, SF and PF spots. We’ll pass along confirmation when we have an official starting lineup.

Kobe Bryant will play tonight against the Wizards. His presence makes the Lakers basically untargetable in cash games, although guys like Jordan Clarkson, DeAngelo Russell and Julius Randle are potential contrarian GPP plays. No one Laker sticks out as a strong play tonight, but the Wizards do get a sizable bump against an atrocious defensive unit. Wall, Beal and Gortat are all strong plays tonight.

Markieff Morris is questionable tonight against the Pistons with a knee contusion and Tyson Chandler has already been ruled out. Look for the Suns to lean further on Mirza Teletović and Alex Len tonight. Jon Leuer might even get the start so all the punt Suns bigs are an option now.

He’s officially listed as questionable, but Lin will give it a go tonight against the Warriors. It’s not a particularly great spot for Lin, who hasn’t surpassed 22 minutes in any of his last three games. He’s not a recommended DFS target tonight, but the likes of Kemba Walker, Nicolas Batum, Marvin Williams and Cody Zeller are all in play. The Warriors play at a faster pace than the Hornets and with Al Jefferson out, the offensive responsibilities will pick up for some of the secondary options.

Nene has been ruled out of another contest which leaves Jared Dudley and Kris Humphries as the players expected to get all the burn at the 4 for the Wizards. Jared Dudley makes for an interesting punt play again tonight but is risky due to the game being on the second night of a back-to-back. Dudley played 31 minutes and Humphries only played 9 last night, meaning Humphries is the fresher player of the two on hump day.

It’s the sixth straight game Splitter will miss. With the rest of the team healthy, Splitter wasn’t going to see more than 10-15 minutes per game anyway. His absence doesn’t change much in terms of the Hawks DFS landscape.

Patrick Beverley is likely to get the start again and play a ton of minutes with old Jason Terry on the bench, and Ty Lawson being shopped. The Rockets play in the game with the highest implied total of the day, which should provide Beverley with an opportunity to exceed value. Vegas projects a 4 point spread but the Pelicans are also playing on the second night of a back-to-back and will be without the services of Jrue Holiday.
Ian Mahinmi upside GPP play on Wednesday
Ian Mahinmi has averaged about 25 minutes and 24.31 FPs in his last eleven games. His price is at a season-high of $4,700 on DraftKings, but Mahinmi is still a discount under $5,000. The Clippers are a poor rebounding team based on the fact that they are ranked 27th in opponents rebounds per game. The Clippers also have -4.5 rebound differential, worse than the 76ers, which gives Mahinmi a chance to get a double-double tonight.
Greivis Vasquez not expected to play Wednesday
With Vasquez likely out, Jerryd Bayless should see upwards of 30 minutes as the starting PG, with Michael Carter-Williams acting as the backup after a dreadful past few weeks for his personal performance. O.J. Mayo is again expected to draw the start at SG, and his minutes should remain relatively stable as a starter as long as Vasquez is out. Both Bayless and Mayo are potential GPP targets against a very tough Spurs defense. It’s not a winning strategy in the long run to target players against the Spurs, who have been among the league’s toughest defenses across the board this year.

He left Monday’s game around the halfway point and never returned. He’s dealing with an inflamed rib cartilage and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Clippers play it safe with Paul during the regular season. They take on the Pacers at home tonight (10:30 start), so those on non late-swap sites may have a tough decision on their hands when it comes to rostering Clippers. If Paul sits, both Jamal Crawford and Austin Rivers would become viable punt plays, with Blake Griffin also picking up value.

Harris is out for tonight’s game as he is still dealing with a concussion. Randy Foye is expected to get the start in what will be a very tough match up against Jimmy Butler and the Bulls. Foye is at a low enough price to be in consideration as a punt but the upside is limited.

Tyson Chandler ruled out for tonight's game
The Suns center will not play again tonight and it is presumed that Alex Len will get the start in his place. Len is an elite value option tonight for both cash games and GPP’s.
