Tyreke Evans expected to play tonight
While not 100% yet, the Pelicans guard did say that he expects to play tonight. It’s a shaky situation in terms of DFS value and one that is probably best left alone until we see how Evans looks on the court. It does muddy up the back court situation even further and Eric Gordon is probably the only safe play out of that group right now with Ish Smith being a potential GPP dart throw.

Harrison Barnes out for Wednesday's game
Barnes will miss another game due to his sprained ankle. Andre Iguodala and the rest of the 2nd unit will likely split the minutes caused by his absence. Keep an eye out for official lineup news tomorrow to determine if there are any key value plays but also be wary as starting for the Warriors does not necessarily equate 30 minutes of playing time (see Brandon Rush last night – he started and only played for 12 minutes).

Hornets Head Coach Steve Clifford stated that Cody Zeller would start for the injured Al Jefferson tomorrow night. Zeller will make for an excellent value play on a big NBA DFS night.

The Kings will change their lineup again tonight with DeMarcus Cousins returning. Kosta Koufos will go back to the bench which will diminish most of his value, unless Cauley-Stein gets into foul trouble. Rondo will be facing his former team and could try to make a statement tonight with his play.

Luc Richard Mbah a Moute starting at SF Monday
This will be Mbah a Moute’s second start in a row for the Clippers. He got 23 minutes in his last game and should be in line for that much this one. The Clippers are hosting the Trail Blazers so he will be called upon to contain the active Aminu. Mbah a Moute is not much more than a punt option, and a risky one at that.

Rodney Hood will be in the starting lineup for the Jazz against the Warriors. Hood played 34 minutes on Saturday so should be at full strength for this one. Hood is only $5K on DraftKings so he could be a decent late swap option, but he does not do much outside of scoring so his upside is limited.

The Jazz list big man Derrick Favors back into the starting lineup. Trevor Booker had his one great game with Favors missing and goes back to the bench, losing all his value. The Jazz host the Warriors tonight so Favors will be matching up against Draymond Green. Favors does possess a size advantage and can play the 5 when the Warriors go small.

DeMarcus Cousins is finally back from his back injury and will likely be inserted into the starting lineup. Cousins makes for a great late-swap player if you left money on the table. Cousins should be able to destroy the Mavs inside and is likely not on a minutes restriction. Cousins should be rested and will likely also hit a couple threes tonight.

Kenneth Faried will start tonight alongside Emmanuel Mudiay, Randy Foye, Danilo Gallinari and Nikola Jokic. Faried is a viable late-swap option on DraftKings in GPPs, as this is one of the (rare) intriguing times to target the Nuggets on the road. Darrell Arthur’s value takes a big dive with Faried back to his regular role. Danilo Gallinari is also an excellent play on tonight’s slate.

Brandon Rush starting for injured Harrison Barnes tonight
Brandon Rush will start again tonight after scoring 16 points in his last start against Sacramento. Rush makes for a great punt option but may not get the same amount of shots tonight. The Warriors face a tough defensive matchup in Utah and will have to lean on their studs to pull out this victory. Look for Andre Iguodala to get the crunch time minutes over Rush.

The Rockets have been playing with their rotations and will go with Patrick Beverley and James Harden in the backcourt with Trevor Ariza, Clint Capela, and Dwight Howard in the frontcourt. Howard was noted as not having a minutes restriction even though this is the second night of a back-to-back. Howard will have a tough matchup against Andre Drummond, but James Harden is likely to attack him and try to get him into foul trouble.

The Hawks have listed Tiago Splitter and Tim Hardaway Jr. as inactive for tonight’s contest against the thunder. Mike Muscala should be backing up Al Horford with Mike Scott backing up Paul Millsap. The Thunder do not really have big men that attack the inside so both Horford and Millsap should play 30+ minutes tonight.

Chris Bosh missed this morning’s shootaround with the illness, but it’s not enough to keep him out of action tonight. Bosh is an appealing GPP target in a pace-up game with the Celtics, and his illness should keep his ownership percentage very low. His minutes aren’t expected to be limited at all.

Green will draw another start for the injured Luol Deng. He’s exceeded 22 FPs in each of his first two starts, and is seeing enough run to make him a potential cash game target. Green is handicapped by the fact that he is so dependent on pure scoring and doesn’t contribute much outside of points, giving him a very low ceiling should his shot not be falling. He’s still in play for cash games, but know that you’re rolling the dice on him having a hot hand.
