Darren Collison Starting
With Rudy Gay out, everyone assumed Omri Casspi would get the start, but instead it’s Darren Collison. Collison makes for a nice 2nd option at the point guard position. He is just $4,700 on DK and $5,200 on FD. This hurts Rajon Rondo a little bit. If you are taking any Kings tonight it starts with DeMarcus Cousins.

Willie Cauley-Stein Starting
Stein will still start on Saturday even with DeMarcus Cousins returning. Even with him starting, his minutes are not safe. He is only a GPP punt play. He also gets into foul trouble pretty easily.

Gay is out for Saturday’s game because of a shoulder injury. This news gives a huge boost to Omri Casspi, he is coming is coming off the bench, but he will still get plenty of minutes and makes for a nice punt option. He earned the start on Thursday and finished with 16 points and 6 rebounds in 39 minutes. He has an excellent price on FD at $4,200, and $4,500 on DK. This gives a nice bump to DeMarcus Cousins, who is returning from suspension.

The Celtics announced that Smart will miss Boston’s next two games with a leg injury. The Celtics next two games are on Sunday and Tuesday. This news means Isaiah Thomas becomes a great cash game play the next two games. Avery Bradley will most likely now be in the starting lineup.

Deng will play tonight for the Heat after missing yesterday’s practice with an illness. Deng can be ignored for your DFS lineups as he is not a very attractive option. With Deng playing this hurts the value of Justise Winslow.

Stuckey will play on Saturday after missing the last couple of games. If George Hill plays you can safely fade Stuckey, but if he doesn’t, he is still only a GPP play. His minutes aren’t safe with him returning from an injury. With Stuckey returning, this hurts the value of Ellis and Miles. Paul George is still an excellent play tonight for the Pacers.

Gay is listed as doubtful for Saturday’s game because of a shoulder injury. This news gives a huge boost to Omri Casspi if Gay is out. Casspi is coming off his best game of the season. He earned the start on Thursday and finished with 16 points and 6 rebounds in 39 minutes. He has an excellent price on FD at $4,200, and $4,500 on DK. It makes a lot of sense to pay up for James or George and punt with Casspi. If Gay misses, this would also give a nice bump to DeMarcus Cousins, who is returning from suspension.

Kobe Bryant starting as expected
Kobe Bryant is starting as expected against the Raptors. He will slot in as the SF and have a matchup against DeMarre Carroll. The Raptors may blow out the Lakers, so the minutes could be limited across the board. Kobe’s return brings Jordan Clarkson’s value down a bit.

Lance Stephenson starting at SF
Lance Stephenson will be starting for the Clippers at SF. Paul Pierce is sitting out as a rest day on the second night of a back-to-back. Stephenson missed the last game due to what Doc Rivers called a matchup decision. Lance is only $3,200 on DraftKings and can make for a good late swap punt option.

Chris Paul is starting as expected in Portland. The Clippers lost a tough game last night, so Chris Paul is a risky option. Paul does get his backcourt mate back in J.J. Redick, so he is likely to not score as much. Damian Lillard is the better play in the matchup against Chris Paul.
Noah Vonleh to start Friday
The Trail Blazers have listed Noah Vonleh as the starter against the Clippers. Noah Vonleh doesn’t provide much DFS value and will likely be in foul trouble against Blake Griffin. Mason Plumlee is the preferred big man in Portland.

Kirk Hinrich will be making his second start in a row for Derrick Rose. The Bulls face the Warriors and Hinrich will have his hands full guarding Steph Curry. E’Twaun Moore should see some extended run off the bench for the Bulls. Both players will have to focus on defense but Hinrich should get run in crunch time and to start that 1st and 3rd quarters. Moore will likely see most of his run in the middle of the game.
Terrence Ross available Friday
The Raptors have listed Terrence Ross as available for tonight’s game against the Lakers. Ross might come in for a short stint, but can be pretty much ignored tonight as a late swap option. The next opportunity to use him will be against the Clippers on Sunday.

The Warriors will have their backup guards ready for the game against the Bulls. This diminishes a little value from Andre Iguodala, as he will not handle the ball as much with the bench players. Iguodala is still getting run in crunch time, but the Warriors might want to go big tonight with Bogut against Pau Gasol.
