Nerlens Noel not starting Wednesday
The 76ers are trying to match the small-ball lineup of the Pacers by starting Jerami Grant at the 4. Paul George has been an elite option all season long and he is a superb choice tonight with George Hill out. Nerlens Noel will battle the weak interior defense of the Pacers, that just got carved up by the Bulls big men. Taj Gibson and Joakim Noah both had solid performances off the bench, so look for Noel to bring the energy and attack the paint.

Victor Oladipo to play Wednesday
Victor Oladipo has been cleared through the NBA concussion protocol and will start tonight. Oladipo missed 2 games with the concussion and had Evan Fournier take his place at SG. With Oladipo back, Fournier’s value takes a bit of a hit, but he has been playing well enough to still be considered. The Magic host the Timberwolves and Oladipo will likely be guarded by Andrew Wiggins, keeping Oladipo from elite DFS value tonight. The Timberwolves are on the second night of a back-to-back, so look for the Magic to try and push the tempo.

George Hill has been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the 76ers, making Monta Ellis an elite option. Ellis has seen his usage increase from 21.6 to 29.1 without Hill in the lineup. On Monday, without Hill in the lineup Ellis logged about 36 minutes and had 20 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds, and added a steal and a block. Ellis comes in averaging 36.41 FPs on DraftKings and 34.76 FPs on FanDuel over his last 3 games. The 76ers surrender a ton of fantasy points and should be targeted, with a full slate of games Ellis won’t be as heavily owned as he was on Monday.
Jabari Parker may be able to play Thursday
Jabari Parker is heading to Cleveland with the full intention of playing against the Cavs Thursday night. The team had ruled him out for this game back on Monday, but he’s apparently made good progress and believes he’ll be healthy enough to go tomorrow. We’ll update his status again tomorrow after shootaround.

Korver, Sefolosha, Muscala all probable for Wednesday
This was the prevailing thought since last night, but all three are expected to play tonight. With Bazemore and possibly Teague out, Korver and Sefolosha will be a big part of rotation. Dennis Schroder becomes an elite punt play if Teague were to sit, but he should still see upwards of 22-23 minutes with Bazemore out.

Kevin Durant’s absence is the least surprising of the bunch, but there are some indications that he may potentially be able to play on Friday. Continue rolling out Westbrook until he returns. With Hill and Stuckey out for Indiana, look for Monta Ellis and C.J. Miles to play more vital roles. Ish Smith is an elite value play with Jrue Holiday out.
Kent Bazemore out, Jeff Teague upgraded to questionable Wednesday
Teague has now been upgraded to questionable, which puts Dennis Schroder’s value into question. If Teague is able to play, Schroder wouldn’t be a strong DFS option even with Bazemore also out. Kyle Korver and Thabo Sefolosha will fill in on the wings. We’ll provide an update on Teague’s status as the day unfolds.

It’s the second night of a back-to-back for the Wolves, but it appears that Rubio is at least going to try to play tonight. He played poorly in 27 minutes last night, but will have a much better match-up tonight. He’s going to be a GPP play at best until we see him get a full game under his belt. Zach LaVine would become an elite target if Rubio were to sit out.

Pierce will remain a starter ahead of Lance Stephenson for Thursday’s game against Golden State. Pierce played 30 minutes in his last start and is a candidate to see somewhere between 25-30 against the Warriors, although the match-up isn’t ideal. The Clippers should be able to stay competitive if Chris Paul and J.J. Redick are able to suit up – both are currently questionable for tomorrow. Pierce is a low end option at SF on Thursday, but is playable given the three-game slate.

Holiday is sitting out the second game of a back-to-back tonight. Eric Gordon and Ish Smith will see increased minutes and usage as a result and Smith makes for a great value play around the industry tonight.

Derrick Rose "extremely doubtful" for Wednesday, Hinrich expected to start
Per K.C. Johnson, Fred Hoiberg said that Rose was “extremely doubtful” for tonight after not participating in shootaround. The Bulls aren’t going to take chances with Rose this early in the year, so it looks like Kirk Hinrich will draw the start in his place. This keeps Aaron Brooks with the second unit and it’s still very possible that Brooks ends up seeing more of the court than Hinrich, but it certainly keeps Brooks from being a plug-and-play option. Hinrich’s upside is very limited, so he’s not a strong DFS target on a full slate. Jimmy Butler and Pau Gasol both benefit, as Hinrich’s usage rate won’t reach that of Rose’s.

Anthony Davis burnt a ton of people in DFS last night when he left the game early due to an injured shoulder. He is questionable, along with Omer Asik, for tonight’s game. Ryan Anderson would be the biggest beneficiary if Davis sits but Eric Gordon and Ish Smith would also see a likely increase in usage, especially with Jrue Holiday already out. For what it’s worth, Davis is listed in the Pelicans probable starting lineup.

T.J. Warren stayed home with an illness for this morning’s shootaround and is questionable for tonight’s game. Warren wasn’t much of a DFS option today anyway with the return of Markieff Morris to the starting lineup.

The Spurs have announced that Ginobili will miss the next two games with an injured hip. While the Spurs are always tough to trust for DFS purposes, Danny Green is worth a look at his price point as he should get more minutes with Ginobili out

George Hill is again out tonight. Monta Ellis will be the biggest beneficiary and is a great GPP play with C.J. Miles also getting a boost due to Rodney Stuckey being out as well. Don’t forget Paul George whose already high usage should increase.
