Omer Asik doubtful tonight
Omer Asik is still dealing with an illness and has been listed as doubtful. The Pelicans started Dante Cunningham the last game that Asik missed, and could do that again. Cunningham had 11 points, 5 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 2 steals to stuff the stat sheet in 31 minutes. Cunningham is an elite minimum priced player if he does indeed get the start.

Anthony Davis doubtful for Wednesday
With Davis unlikely to play, Ryan Anderson, Eric Gordon and Ish Smith become even stronger plays. All three are excellent targets in any format tonight. Outside of that, there aren’t any real DFS options on the New Orleans side. Davis’ absence also likely aids Serge Ibaka a bit.

Andre Roberson starting tonight
The Thunder will be starting Westbrook, Roberson, Morrow, Ibaka, and Adams for tonight’s game against the Pelicans. Roberson is not much of an offensive threat and will likely lose crunch time minutes to Dion Waiters. This game is expected to be a shootout (213.5 total) so look for a ton of fantasy points to go around.

Collison’s presence will undoubtedly eat into Rajon Rondo’s court time. Rondo had been seeing 40+ minutes with Collison out of the lineup, but that streak will almost definitely end tonight as George Karl may want to give Rondo somewhat of a breather. This makes it tough to target either of the Kings PGs tonight.

Jeff Teague (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Kings. Dennis Schröder will take his place again in the starting lineup, looking to continue his solid play.
Willie Cauley-Stein to play Wednesday
Willie Cauley-Stein missed the second half of the game on Saturday after getting hit in the head. The Kings have not mentioned their starters but look for Cauley-Stein to continue to get about 18-20 minutes on Wednesday. The Kings take on an undermanned and undersized Atlanta Hawks squad on Wednesday. Cauley-Stein could easily hit 5x value if he gets the minutes.

Payne will start for KG, who is sitting out on the second leg of a B2B. Payne isn’t a strong DFS option even as a starter, as Nemanja Bjelica will likely eat into his playing time off the bench. Expect Payne to be in the 18-22 minute range tonight, which lines up with what he’s seen as a starter thus far.

Richaun Holmes is still out of action with a hamstring injury. The 76ers will likely have their rookie able to play on Friday against the Hornets. Holmes will come off the bench with Robert Covington back in the starting lineup.

Avery Bradley will play on Wednesday, but he’ll come off the bench with Isaiah Thomas and Marcus Smart starting at the guard spots. Bradley had a very nice shooting game off the bench against Houston, but he’s not a DFS option unless he starts. Thomas should see somewhere in the neighborhood of 35 minutes and is a solid GPP target at PG. The Celtics offense seems much more in sync when he’s running the show. Marcus Smart is also an intriguing GPP punt play, but his floor is a little too low for cash games given the other value at PG (notably Ish Smith).

Ricky Rubio will play and start Wednesday against the Magic. He struggled mightily in 27 minutes last night, but should have more success tonight in a much better matchup. He’s still a GPP-only target at best, but is most likely worth fading entirely. Zach LaVine’s value takes a big hit as a result.

The T’Wolves are resting Kevin Garnett tonight on the second game of a back-to-back. Adrian Payne started the last game that Garnett missed and had 21.25 FPs on DK, making it likely that Payne will likely get the start again. Nemanja Bjelica is averaging about 26 minutes a contest this season as the backup PF for the Timberwolves. Bjelica has been slumping lately and is a risky option tonight with 10 games on the slate. Look for Karl Anthony-Towns to keep his strong play going after a 14 point, 14 rebound performance last night. Tobias Harris of the Magic has a chance to exceed value while being an under-owned guy in a plus matchup tonight.

The Clippers are hosting the Warriors on Thursday and both Chris Paul and J.J. Redick are still struggling to recover from their injuries. Both players will likely be game-time decisions with Paul more likely to suit up. If Paul and Redick miss the game, expect to see a ton of Austin Rivers and Jamal Crawford. Blake Griffin has also initiated the offense for the Clippers in Paul’s absence, and had a season-high 9 assists against Detriot last Saturday.

The Pacers will start Monta Ellis, C.J. Miles, Paul George, Lavoy Allen and Ian Mahinmi against the Sixers. With the Sixers starting Covington and Grant at the 3 and 4 in order to match-up with George at the 4, Brett Brown may end up going back to Nerlens Noel as a starter. We’ll update you if that ends up happening.

The Sixers are bringing Nerlens Noel off the bench so that Jerami Grant can cover Paul George, who plays the PF spot for Indiana. Noel wouldn’t have much success following him around the perimeter, so it’s a move that makes sense. Covington will get the start at SF, although his minutes aren’t expected to creep up past 25 at this point. Noel should still see 24-28 minutes of court time off the bench.

P.J. Hairston will miss yet another game, which may give Cody Zeller and Marvin Williams another chance to start alongside each other. It’s unclear who will start for Hairston at this point. Jeremy Lamb is active and should see upwards of 20 minutes of court time off the bench.
