Andrew Bogut officially listed as questionable
We had him listed as probable earlier, so this is just an addendum to that alert. While Bogut is listed as questionable, he appears to be closer to probable based on what we’ve been seeing from various beat reporters.

Celtics add James Young from the D-League
This is a really good indicator that Marcus Smart will not play tomorrow. The C’s are probably just adding depth at the guard spot, with Isaiah Thomas expected to handle basically all of the PG duties tomorrow night. He’ll be an elite play in all formats if he draws the start.

Andrew Bogut is officially listed as probable for tonight’s game. We passed this news along yesterday, but wanted to update anyone who may have missed it. With Bogut back in the lineup, Festus Ezeli is no longer a viable value play, and the value of Marreese Speights also takes a hit. Expect Bogut to see somewhere in the neighborhood of 18-25 minutes in his first game back. The Warriors will need Bogut’s presence to attempt to slow down Andre Drummond, who has been performing at an elite level this season.

Chris Paul has now been upgraded to probable for tonight’s game with the Grizzlies. This is a great sign for Paul’s health, but a very bad sign for the value of Austin Rivers and Jamal Crawford. Blake Griffin and J.J. Redick also would have benefited from Paul’s absence, but Griffin is still a solid tournament target against the Grizzlies front-court. Paul is not a recommended DFS play against Mike Conley and the slow-paced Grizzlies. Austin Rivers is no longer a potential punt play.

After missing the last four games, DeMarcus Cousins is listed as questionable for tonight’s game with the Spurs. He’s not expected to be on any sort of minutes limit, which sets him up as a really solid GPP play tonight given that his ownership levels should be lower than usual. Rudy Gay’s usage rate will decline and he already wasn’t lighting the world on fire with Cousins out, so he’s a player to avoid tonight against Kawhi Leonard. Rajon Rondo’s value also takes a hit, as does the appeal of Kosta Koufos and Willie Cauley-Stein.

Neither player practiced today and both have already been ruled out for tomorrow’s game. Tyler Ennis will likely to continue to start at PG after filling in with the first unit the last two games, although it’s still Jerryd Bayless and Greivis Vasquez with the most upside among the Bucks guards. Ennis has played no more than 17 minutes in either start, which makes him unplayable in DFS. Bayless is the preferred target if you have your heart set on a Bucks guard. Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo should continue to see a high volume of minutes at the wing positions with Mayo out.

The Denver big man will miss his fourth consecutive game against Portland tonight. Kenneth Faried, J.J. Hickson, and Nikola Jokic will see a bump in their value as a result and it could lead to more usage for Danilo Gallinari.

Chris Paul doubtful, Nikola Vucevic out on Monday
Chris Paul is doubtful to play tonight. If Paul doesn’t go that will be a boost to the likes of Austin Rivers, Blake Griffin, Jamal Crawford, and J.J. Redick.
As previously mentioned, Nikola Vucevic will miss tonight’s game. While Dedmon is the obvious beneficiary of this news it’ll also provide a bump to the usage of the likes of Tobias Harris, Victor Oladipo, and Aaron Gordon.

While he practiced some today, Marcus Smart has been ruled doubtful for Tuesday’s game. That means more minutes for Isaiah Thomas who has produced well with Smart out of the lineup. Thomas is playable in any format if he draws the start, as he’d be a great bet for 35+ minutes.

Randy Witt says Beal is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Thunder. It’s a situation definitely worth monitoring as Beal has been one of the better shooting guard options this season. Gary Neal would probably be the biggest benefactor if Beal sits and would make an excellent punt if he does get the starting nod.

While Hoiberg stated there were no lineup changes, Joakin Noah did work with the starters at shootaround and Nikola Mirotic was evasive when asked if he was coming off the bench. Something to consider before rostering Mirotic tonight who has already been struggling of late with just 11 points scored (and severely reduced minutes) in his last three games.

The Orlando big man is out again which makes Dewayne Dedmon one of the better punt plays at the center position.

Jerami Grant is at the shoot around with a blue starters jersey on making him probable. Grant produces well in limited minutes but often doesn’t get enough playing time in the deep 76’ers rotation to warrant a DFS roster spot. It’s also a fairly tough match up against the Bulls so it’s a play probably best avoided.

Zach Randolph and Brandan Wright are both questionable for Monday’s game with the Clippers. The Grizzlies front-court as a whole has gotten off to a very slow start, and it’s probably not coincidental that Randolph, Wright and Marc Gasol are all dealing with injuries. If Randolph is unable to play, Marc Gasol would get a nice bump in value, with JaMychal Green likely to pick up most of the slack left at PF. Jarnell Stokes has seen virtually no run this year but he’d also be a candidate to pick up extra work.

Steven Adams is available to play tonight against the Suns. Enes Kanter’s value would have soared if Adams wasn’t able to play, but both players will continue to sieve value from one another while they’re healthy. Adams isn’t a recommended DFS option against Tyson Chandler and the Suns front-court.
