Theo Riddick and Eric Ebron don't practice again; both seem unlikely to play
The Lions starting RB and TE missed their third straight practice this week and appear unlikely to suit up for the Lions game against the Redskins. This is a boost to the value of Golden Tate and Anquan Boldin whose usage both increase with those two out. Dwayne Washington, Justin Forsett, and Zack Zenner will split the work at RB and are not in play despite the Redskins 2nd worst in the league Rush RB DVOA due to uncertainty with their roles. We’ll continue to update on the Lions injury situation but for now lean towards Riddick and Ebron not playing.
As reported by: Will Burchfield on Twitter Other tagged players: Eric Ebron, Golden Tate, Anquan BoldinRobert Woods misses another practice; appears unlikely to play this week
The Bills current #1 WR missed his third straight practice and it does not look like he will play this week against the Dolphins. Marquise Goodwin and Justin Hunter should see some more targets come there way and are reasonable value WR options (but there is plenty of value to be had this weekend so nothing more than GPP flyers). Charles Clay also should see an uptick in usage. We’ll update you if anything changes regarding to Woods prior to game time on Sunday.
As reported by: Chris Brown on Twitter Other tagged players: Marquise Goodwin, Justin HunterUncertainty with LeSean McCoy continues; Agent says he is a game-time decision
Media reports came out yesterday that stated Bills RB LeSean McCoy was out for their game this weekend against the Miami Dolphins but this morning his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, stated that was not true and that his client would be a game-time decision this week. It adds more murkiness to what to do with backup RB Mike Gillislee who would be a top value option if McCoy can’t play. If you are planning on using him, make sure to have an alternate plan in place for when the Sunday morning news breaks. The same could be said for McCoy. For what it’s worth, McCoy was seen on the sidelines at Bills practice this morning stretching. We’ll obviously update you with any news that comes in.
As reported by: Sal Capaccio on Twitter Other tagged players: Mike GillisleeJimmy Graham (hip) does not practice Thursday
Graham was listed as a DNP on Thursday due to knee and hip issues, although the hip problem is something new. It’s still looking like he’s going to be able to play on Sunday, but Graham has dealt with injuries over the last few seasons and it wouldn’t be terribly surprising if he was to miss a game considering he’s dealing with multiple ailments. The Seahawks will be very shorthanded at the TE spot if he’s unable to go. Doug Baldwin would likely see his usage grow if Graham isn’t in the lineup.
As reported by: Bob CondottaZach Miller, Davante Adams active for TNF; no other surprises
Zach Miller is active against Green Bay, and will be the third option in the passing game for Brian Hoyer behind Alshon Jeffery and Cameron Meredith. The Packers are dealing with a slew of injuries to their secondary, and the two receivers should be involved early and often to help exploit that. Look for Miller to see 6-8 targets with some nice upside for red-zone work. As for Adams, he’ll act as the WR3 behind Nelson and Cobb, and should push for 5-8 targets assuming his snaps aren’t limited. He’s not a DFS option this week. Ty Montgomery, who will see time at RB, is the more appealing WR target on the GB side.

Sharps seem to like the New York Jets this weekend against Baltimore. Despite 81% of public wagers being placed on the Ravens, the Jets have gone from 1-point underdogs to 2-point favorites, according to Vegas Insider. Geno Smith will get his first start of the season in Week 7, which may be the reason for the sudden faith in the Gang Green. It may also be due to Joe Flacco’s health, as he may not play. Either way, the expectations aren’t too high as the over/under has fallen from 42.5 to 40.5, giving the Jets an implied total of 21.25 points. Last week, there was reverse line movement on the Raiders-Chiefs game — a ton of sharp money came in on Kansas City — and the Chiefs dominated that one while Oakland struggled to score 10 points. The Jets-Ravens line movement is an ominous sign for Ravens’ offensive players. While the low total isn’t quite enough to instill extra confidence in the Jets’ offensive weapons, if it trends upwards that could change. Brandon Marshall is definitely the player you want to own on New York, if any, as Geno will rely on him quite a bit in the passing game and the Ravens’ run defense has been strong. It’s also worth noting that cornerback Jimmy Smith is in the concussion protocol for the Ravens and may be sidelined. Last week Odell Beckham was held in check until Smith was forced to exit the game. Beckham went on to finish with a monstrous 8/222/2 line. Smith would be the primary corner guarding Marshall if he plays, so if he can’t, it’s yet another positive sign for Marshall.
As reported by: Vegas Insider Other tagged players: Baltimore Ravens, Brandon MarshallLeSean McCoy will be a game time decision Sunday
Adding to a previous report. We’re still not expecting McCoy to play, but the Bills aren’t going to officially rule him out until Sunday. Mike Gillislee is still a great value option. Last year he started for McCoy against the Jets and had 24 rushes; his volume should be there again this weekend.
As reported by: WKBW Other tagged players: Mike GillisleeMohamed Sanu has limited practice Thursday
Sanu has a groin injury, but it doesn’t seem serious. We expect him to play this weekend against the Chargers. He’s a very interesting GPP play this weekend after he lead the Falcons in targets last week with ten. The game has the highest total of the week at 53 points, and Atlanta has a super high implied team total of 29.5. Plenty of folks will be jumping on the Julio Jones train for this one, and Sanu will go under the radar. In terms of individual matchups, he has the best one with slot corner Craig Myer, who scores a 50.1 by Pro Football Focus. Jones, on the other hand, will line up against Casey Hayward who has an 83.4 grade, which is one of the best scores in the league. Sanu isn’t viable in cash, but he’s definitely worth attention in tournaments as he’ll give you exposure to the best offense in football at a much lower price (and lower ownership) than Jones.
As reported by: Vaughn McClureJosh Brown will not play in Week 7
Brown won’t be traveling with the Giants to London for their game against the Rams. Make sure you don’t have him in any lineups on sites that have a kicker position.
As reported by: Mike GarafoloLatavius Murray on track to play Sunday
Murray practiced again on Thursday, which is a good indication that he’ll play Sunday. Oakland will use a three-man committee against the Jaguars, and Jamize Olawale is always a threat to vulture touchdowns. It’s not a great situation to target in fantasy, especially with all of the great value available at the position this week.
As reported by: Scott BairTorrey Smith has limited practice Thursday
Smith was added to the injury report today with a back injury and was limited in practice. He seems to have a better chemistry with Colin Kaepernick than Blaine Gabbert as he picked up the most targets he’s had since Week 2 (7) in Kap’s first start. He lead the 49ers with 76 yards against the Bills, although most of that came on a 53-yard touchdown. We’ll have a better sense of his playing status when the 49ers practice tomorrow.
As reported by: Matt BarrowStefon Diggs gets in limited practice on Thursday
Diggs hasn’t played since Week 4, but is looking likely to return this weekend against the Eagles. While he’s dropped off the map a bit in DFS terms, Diggs is still fourth among WRs in usage rate (27.84%), behind only Mike Evans, Antonio Brown and A.J. Green. Only Evans and Green have seen a higher percentage of their team’s targets, and Diggs is considerably cheaper than the three aforementioned names. He’ll have an excellent draw with a combination of Jalen Mills, Nolan Carroll and Ron Brooks, all of whom have graded out very poorly per PFF. Assuming he’s active, Diggs is one of the better contrarian plays at WR this weekend.
As reported by: @VikingsDeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller limited in Thursday's practice
Hopkins (hamstring) hadn’t been on the injury report before today, so this is mildly concerning. As of now, we still expect him to be ready to play Sunday. Will Fuller is also dealing with a hamstring injury. He didn’t play a snap against the Colts in Week 6 despite suiting up, but Fuller should get back on the field this weekend. Both receivers have a tough matchup with the Broncos’ secondary in Week 7. Their quarterback, Brock Osweiler has been pretty inconsistent this season, looking downright bad at times. It will be hard to trust either to put up strong fantasy performances in Denver.
As reported by: Houston Texans Other tagged players: Will FullerAndrew Luck downgraded to limited in Thursday's practice
He got in a full practice yesterday, but was listed on the injury report with an ankle issue. Today, he was downgraded to limited and he was listed with a shoulder injury in addition to the ankle. This isn’t a great sign, but we’re still expecting him to play this weekend. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
As reported by: Jason WolfT.Y. Hilton doesn't practice Thursday
Hilton was limited Wednesday with a hip injury and didn’t participate at all Thursday. He’s been held out of practices most weeks, but hasn’t missed a game yet, so we’re expecting him to play Sunday. He had his worst game of the season in Week 6 against Houston. It was his first game without double-digit targets, and he ended with just three receptions for 49 yards. He’ll look to bounce back this weekend against the Titans, but Football Outsiders ranks them 10th in pass DVOA. We’ll know more about Hilton’s playing status tomorrow.
