Sutton Smith has been signed to active roster, Dillon Stoner has been signed to the practice squad and elevated, and Matt Bushman has been elevated from the practice squad ahead of Sunday’s game against the Washington Football Team. Smith is expected to serve as the fullback for the Raiders, Stoner is expected to serve as receiver depth, and Bushman is expected to split time as the backup tight end with Daniel Helm. All three of these players do not figure to be DFS relevant this weekend.

HOU RB Jaylen Samuels elevated from practice squad for Sunday
Jaylen Samuels has been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts. Samuels’s elevation is a cause for concern over David Johnson’s availability for tomorrow (currently listed questionable due to an illness). Even if Johnson is ruled out Samuels still wouldn’t be expected to play a major role but it would mean more work for both Rex Burkhead and Royce Freeman. Burkhead would be expected to lead the backfield and could be considered in DFS contests while Freeman would mix in. It will be important to check inactives 90 minutes before kickoff to check on Johnson’s status for Sunday.

As expected, Melvin Gordon has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs and Damarea Crockett has been elevated from the practice squad. With Gordon ruled out, Javonte Williams will become one of the top plays on the showdown slate due to expected volume and production. Mike Boone and Damarea Crockett will be available to back him up but will not be expected to play a major role, though HC Fangio did say Boone will play the running back 2 role behind Williams. Crockett will be available for emergency situations. Tyrie Cleveland was waiver but was not expected to play a major role Sunday, his absence will not be DFS relevant even on a showdown slate.

Brown should see some snaps at tight end backing up Ryan Griffin though there are better options than either on this weekend’s slate.

Ollison is expected to play a role on offense but in this tough of a matchup should not be considered for DFS contests at this time.

His return will limit the upside of all other Miami pass-catchers and they should all have their expected production decreased.

Brandon Bolden, Gunner Olszewski, and Nick Folk listed questionable for Monday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. If Bolden were to miss the backfield would likely be split between Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson making them both viable plays on the showdown slate. Olszewski is not expected to play a major role on offense for the Patriots but plays a crucial role as a returner on special teams, though this isn’t very relevant for DFS purposes. Nick Folk has been listed as questionable the past few weeks and has been able to suit up for every game so this is likely to be the case again on Monday, though the expected weather will make it difficult to confidently roster kickers.

As expected, Darren Waller has been downgraded to out for Sunday’s game against the Washington Football Team. With Waller out, Foster Moreau is the next man up. Moreau had a successful outing last time Waller was absent catching all 6 of his targets for 60 yards and a touchdown. He will need to be considered in most formats as he comes at a discount and plays in an offense that normally relies on its tight end as its best pass catcher.
