CeeDee Lamb

Dallas Cowboys
11/24/21, 12:20 PM ET

DAL WR CeeDee Lamb (concussion) will practice Wednesday and if cleared will play Thursday

CeeDee Lamb (concussion) will practice Wednesday and if cleared will play Thursday against the Las Vegas Raiders. Lamb is progressing well so far through the protocol and the team is currently optimistic that he will be able to suit up on Thursday. Lamb would be the unquestioned top receiver for the Cowboys with Michael Gallup and Cedrick Wilson rounding out the receiving corps with Amari Cooper already ruled out. if Lamb were also to be ruled out Gallup and Wilson would be the top receivers with Ezekiel Elliott, Tony Pollard, and Dalton Schultz all likely playing larger roles in the passing game. It will be important to check back tomorrow when inactives are released 90 minutes prior to kickoff as Lamb is likely to be listed as questionable today and considered a game-time decision.

Jaydon Mickens

Indianapolis Colts
11/24/21, 10:22 AM ET

WR Jaydon Mickens signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars off Buccaneers practice squad

Jaydon Mickens has been signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars off the Buccaneers practice squad. With the loss of Jamal Agnew the Jaguars are looking for receiver depth as well as a competent returner, Mickens fills both of those roles and should fit in nicely with Jags. Mickens is not expected to be DFS relevant at this point however.

Adrian Peterson

Seattle Seahawks
11/23/21, 5:30 PM ET

RB Adrian Peterson has been waived by the Tennessee Titans

Adrian Peterson has been waived by the Tennessee Titans ahead of their matchup with the New England Patriots on Sunday. Peterson saw his role in the backfield evaporate due to the emergence of D’Onta Foreman as the top early down back and Jeremy McNichols and Dontrell Hilliard handling the passing down work. It remains to be seen if Peterson will find another team but it is probably best to avoid the Titans backfield in DFS contests at this point until the dust settles and roles become more defined.

Kevin White

New Orleans Saints
11/23/21, 5:23 PM ET

NOS WR Kevin White signed to active roster

Kevin White has been signed to the active roster ahead of the Saints matchup with the Buffalo Bills on Thursday. White is expected to serve as receiver depth and should not be considered DFS relevant at this point.

Zach Wilson

Miami Dolphins
11/23/21, 5:21 PM ET

NYJ QB Zach Wilson will start Sunday; QB Joe Flacco and QB Mike White placed on COVID list

As expected, Zach Wilson will start Sunday against the Houston Texans. Though both Joe Flacco and Mike White were placed on the COVID list, this apparently had no bearing on if Wilson would start. With Wilson back under center all pass-catchers should see their expected production increase slightly. It still remains difficult to roster most of the Jets roster as they have not performed well, it makes it even more difficult when taking on a Houston Texans defense that just stunned the Tennessee Titans holding them to just 13 points.

Alvin Kamara

New Orleans Saints
11/23/21, 5:13 PM ET

NOS RB Alvin Kamara and RB Mark Ingram both DNP Tuesday; WR Ty Montgomery returned to practice in full

Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram both were listed as DNPs Tuesday while Ty Montgomery logged a full practice ahead of Thursday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. If one of Kamara or Ingram were to miss Thursday the other would lead the backfield and be a good value play. If they were both to miss the recently returned Tony Jones would likely lead the backfield and would be an incredible value option based on expected volume. It will be important to check on both Kamara’s and Ingram’s statuses tomorrow when the official injury report is released. Ty Montgomery logged his first full practice since returning from injury and looks ready to suit up on Thursday. Montgomery will likely serve as the fourth wide receiver for the Saints and is not expected to be DFS relevant at this time.

CeeDee Lamb

Dallas Cowboys
11/23/21, 5:04 PM ET

DAL WR CeeDee Lamb listed as DNP Tuesday

CeeDee Lamb was listed as a DNP Tuesday ahead of the Cowboys matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday. Lamb is still going through the concussion protocol and sources are hopeful that he will be able to play Thursday but he would likely need to log a limited practice tomorrow for that to be considered a possibility. With Amari Cooper already ruled out, if Lamb were also to be ruled out Michael Gallup and Cedrick Wilson would lead the receiving corps with Ezekiel Elliott, Tony Pollard, and Dalton Schultz all likely playing larger roles in the passing game. It will be important to check back tomorrow when the official injury report for Thursday’s game will be released to see what Lamb status is.

Trinity Benson

Cleveland Browns
11/23/21, 4:29 PM ET

DET WR Trinity Benson listed as DNP Tuesday

Trinity Benson was listed as a DNP Tuesday ahead of the Lions matchup with the Chicago Bears on Thursday. Benson’s role has diminished regardless of his status for Thursday with the arrival of Josh Reynolds who seems poised to become a prominent fixture in the Detroit passing game (Reynolds played 90% of the teams snaps leading all receivers). If Benson is able to suit up he will now likely be fourth on the depth chart behind Reynolds, Kalif Raymond, and Amon-Ra St. Brown.

Allen Robinson

Detroit Lions
11/23/21, 4:23 PM ET

CHI WR Allen Robinson and RB Damien Williams listed DNP on Tuesday

Allen Robinson and Damien Williams were both listed as DNPs on Tuesday ahead of the Bears matchup with the Detroit Lions on Thursday. Robinson missed his first game of the season this past weekend and looks like he could be in jeopardy of missing his second if he is unable to log at least a limited practice tomorrow. If Robinson is unable to play Thursday, Darnell Mooney would be the Bears top receiver with Marquise Goodwin and Damiere Byrd also likely to see more snaps and targets. The Bears receivers have already seen a bump in expected production with the announcement of Andy Dalton as the starter and draw a good matchup against a lackluster Detroit Lions secondary. If playing the Thursday slate of games the Bears receivers can be considered in most formats. With Williams also looking like he could miss another game, Ryan Nall should take his place as the third running back available for emergency situations behind lead back David Montgomery and backup Khalil Herbert.

11/23/21, 3:39 PM ET

PIT TE Eric Ebron likely to miss time with knee injury; TE Kevin Rader signed to 53-man roster

Eric Ebron is likely to miss time with knee injury while Kevin Rader has been signed to the 53-man roster ahead of the Steelers matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday. Eric Ebron is seeking a second opinion but all signs point to him requiring surgery likely knocking him out for multiple weeks. The Steelers are being proactive and have signed Rader to the active roster and also signed Jace Sternberger to the practice squad. Rader is expected to serve as tight end depth with Pat Freiermuth continuing in his role as the top tight end for the Steelers.

Ray-Ray McCloud

New York Giants
11/23/21, 3:32 PM ET

PIT WR Ray-Ray McCloud placed on COVID list

Ray-Ray McCloud has been placed on the COVID list and his status for Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals is now in question. Though we do not currently know the vaccination status of McCloud he will at least face an uphill battle to suit up this weekend. If he were to be absent Cody White and Steven Sims could move up the depth chart but still would not be expected to see many snaps. The receiving corps will continue to be led by Diontae Johnson, Chase Claypool, and James Washongton.

Jared Goff

Detroit Lions
11/23/21, 3:27 PM ET

DET QB Jared Goff "trending" towards starting Thursday per HC Dan Campbell

Jared Goff is “trending” towards starting Thursday against the Chicago Bears per HC Dan Campbell. When pressed to give a percent that Goff would start Campbell said right now it was a 60% chance maybe 50-50. If Goff were to be able to play on Thursday all pass-catchers would see a small boost to their expected production as the Lions might be more inclined to throw the ball. It is still not advised to play any members of the Detroit offense aside from D’Andre Swift and T.J. Hockenson especially in a difficult matchup with the Chicago defense.

Dontrell Hilliard

Tennessee Titans
11/23/21, 2:23 PM ET

TEN RB Dontrell Hilliard signed to active roster

Dontrell Hilliard has been signed to the active roster ahead of Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots. Hilliard led the backfield in snaps last week in a game where the Titans were playing from behind the entire time (51 snaps compared to Adrian Peterson and D’Onta Foreman who both saw 15 each). With the expected return of Jeremy McNichols it is likely Hilliard returns to his role as the third or fourth back in the Titans backfield. D’Onta Foreman and Adrian Peterson should be expected to se most of the early down work and carries while McNichols and Hilliard could split the passing down work. The Titans backfield sans Derrick Henry has become a jumbled mess with no clear lead back emerging, it is best to avoid this situation until roles become more solidified.

Andy Dalton

Carolina Panthers
11/23/21, 1:18 PM ET

CHI QB Andy Dalton will start Thursday

As expected, HC Matt Nagy has announced Andy Dalton will start Thursday for the Bears when they are set to take on the Detroit Lions. Justin Fields who is dealing with an injury suffered in last weekend’s game against the Baltimore Ravens will be unable to suit up. With Dalton starting, the Chicago pass-catchers will actually see a very slight bump in expected production, though Dalton himself does not offer us much in terms of DFS value. This could be an ugly game to start the Thanksgiving slate as both teams could be forced to start backup quarterbacks (Jared Goff’s status is still uncertain) and have been largely unimpressive the whole year.

Scotty Miller

Pittsburgh Steelers
11/23/21, 1:07 PM ET

TBB WR Scotty Miller activated to 53-man roster from IR

Scotty Miller has been activated to the 53-man roster from IR. Miller is expected to serve as the fourth or fifth wide receiver once Antoni Brown is healthy and likely will not play much of a role in DFS unless it’s a showdown slate. Miller will likely compete with Tyler Johnson for playing time, though both are considerably behind Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, and the eventually returning Brown on the depth chart.
