Deebo Samuel

Washington Commanders

SFO WR Deebo Samuel and RB Elijah Mitchell listed questionable for Sunday; TE George Kittle and K Robbie Gould expected to be activated tomorrow and play Sunday

Deebo Samuel and Elijah Mitchell have been listed questionable for Sunday while George Kittle and Robbie Gould are expected to be activated tomorrow from IR to the active roster and play in Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. Though expected to play, If Samuel were to miss Brandon Aiyuk would become the top receiver in the 49ers offense and would warrant strong consideration. If Mitchell were to miss the backfield would either be led by Trey Sermon, JaMychal Hasty, or (the possibly returning) Jeff Wilson. At this point it would be too tough to make a decsion on who Kyle Shanahan would decide to lean on or if he would decide to go with a running back by committee approach. The returning Kittle will instantly slot back in as the top tight end for San Francisco sending Charlie Woerner and Ross Dwelley back down the depth chart. Robbie Gould is also expected to make his return and should handle the 49ers kicking duties going forward.

DAL WR CeeDee Lamb and WR Amari Cooper listed questionable but expected to play Sunday; TE Blake Jarwin out; QB Dak Prescott not listed on injury report

DAL WR CeeDee Lamb and WR Amari Cooper listed questionable but expected to play Sunday against the Denver Broncos while Blake Jarwin has been ruled out. Lamb and Cooper are expected to play but if they were to be limited in some fashion the returning Michael Gallup (expected) could play a larger role in the offense and see some more targets. With Jarwin ruled out, Dalton Schultz will continue in his role as the top tight end and the returning Sean McKeon will assume Jarwin’s role as tight end 2. Dak Prescott was not listed on the injury report and is in line to start Sunday.

Pharaoh Brown

Arizona Cardinals
11/05/21, 4:28 PM ET

HOU TE Pharaoh Brown listed out for Sunday

Pharaoh Brown has been listed out for Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins. With Pharaoh Brown forced to miss this weekend, Jordan Akins will take over the primary tight end role with Brevin Jordan available to back him up and play in two tight end sets. Akins would be a viable value option based on expected volume but even with the return of Tyrod Taylor adding extra consistency at the quarterback position it is difficult to confidently roster many members of the abysmal Houston offense.

NOS WR Ty Montgomery listed out for Sunday

Ty Montgomery has been listed out for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.Montgomery was not expected to play much of a role in the Saints offense and his role will likely be absorbed by Kevin White. If targetting the Saints receivers, the top options remain Marquez Callaway, Tre’Quan Smith, and Deonte Harris. The best Saints option to target still remains Alvin Kamara against a porous Falcons defense.

LAC RB Justin Jackson listed out for Sunday

Justin Jackson has been listed out for Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. With Jackson forced to miss this weekend, Larry Rountree and Josh Kelley will likely split backup duties though neither should be DFS relevant. The Chargers running back to target remains Austin Ekeler as he is one of the top receiving backs in the league and draws a good matchup against the Philadelphia defense.

Noah Fant

Cincinnati Bengals
11/05/21, 4:17 PM ET

DEN TE Noah Fant not expected to be activated from COVID list before Sunday; TE Albert Okwuegbunam listed questionable

Noah Fant is not expected to be activated from COVID list before Sunday and Albert Okwuegbunam has been listed questionable for when the Broncos are scheduled to take on the Dallas Cowboys. Albert is expected to see a large workload with Fant absent and can be considered in all formats based on his price vs expected volume if he is able to suit up. If not, Eric Saubert would be the next man up and he would assume the role of top tight end likely with a practice squad elevation serving as his backup.

NEP WR N'Keal Harry and TE Jonnu Smith listed questionable for Sunday

N’Keal Harry and Jonnu Smith listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers. Harry isn’t expected to play much of a role but if he were to miss it could open up some oppurtunities for Gunner Olszewski or a practice squad elevation. If Smith were to be ruled out, Hunter Henry would likely see the bulk of the tight end snaps with Devin Asiasi. Henry would be worth consideration due to expected volume.

CIN RB Chris Evans and WR Auden Tate listed questionable for Sunday but expected to play

Chris Evans and Auden Tate have officially been listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns but both are expected to play. Though they are both expected to play they should not play much of a role as they both serve as depth. Both players are not DFS relevant this week.

11/05/21, 2:44 PM ET

NYG RB Saquon Barkley, WR Sterling Shepard, WR Dante Pettis all listed out for Sunday; WR Kenny Golladay, WR John Ross, and RB Gary Brightwell listed questionable; WR Kadarius Toney not listed on report

This is a doozie of an injury report but here we go: Saquon Barkley, Sterling Shepard, and Dante Pettis all listed out for Sunday; Kenny Golladay, John Ross, and Gary Brightwell listed questionable; Kadarius Toney not listed on injury report Despite the length of the report this is actually what we were expecting. With Barkley out Devontae Booker will once again lead the backfield with Elijhaa Penny and Gary Brightwell (questionable) backing him up and is a decent value play. Golladay is expected to make his return this week and should immediately slot back in as the top receiver flanked by Kadarius Toney (with Shepard ruled out) and both can be considered in DFS contests.

Latavius Murray

Buffalo Bills
11/05/21, 2:32 PM ET

BAL RB Latavius Murray listed doubtful for Sunday; WR Sammy Watkins and WR Rashod Bateman both listed questionable

Latavius Murray has been listed doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings while Sammy Watkins and Rashod Bateman have both been listed as questionable. Watkins is trying to return from a thigh injury and would likely slot into the number three wide receiver role behind Marquise Brown and Rashod Bateman (expected to play according to coach). If he were unable to suit up, this role would continue to be played by Devin Duvernay. Murray is also trying to return this week to reclaim his role as the top running back in the Ravens committee but the prospects of this are looking grim. If he were unable to return Devonta Freeman, Le’Veon Bell and Ty’Son Williams would continue to split the work.

KCC RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire still a week or two away from return according to HC Andy Reid

KCC RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire still a week or two away from return according to HC Andy Reid. In CEH’s stead Darrel Williams, Derrick Gore and Jerick McKinnon will split the backfield work with Williams likely being the best DFS option. With Aaron Rodgers out for the Packers the Chiefs could be playing with a positive game script allowing for the running backs to see extra work.

New Orleans Saints
11/05/21, 2:22 PM ET

JAC RB James Robinson listed questionable for Sunday

JAC RB James Robinson listed questionable for Sunday when the Jaguars are set to take on the Buffalo Bills. If he is unable to suit up Carlos Hyde would lead the backfield with Dare Ogunbowale and Devine Ozigbo available to back him up. Hyde would need to be considered as a value option based on expected volume in a tough matchup this Sunday. It will be important to check in on his status when inactives are released Sunday.

TEN RB Khari Blasingame ruled out for Sunday

Khari Blasingame has been ruled out for Sunday night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. Blasingame was not expected to play much of a role and his absence shouldn’t be too DFS relevant despite occurring on a showdown slate.
