As reported by: Mike RothsteinSFO WR Travis Benjamin, QB Nate Sudfeld, and TE Tanner Hudson elevated from practice squad for Sunday
Travis Benjamin, Nate Sudfeld, and Tanner Hudson have all been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. Benjamin should serve as extra receiver depth, Sudfeld should serve as the backup QB behind Trey Lance, and Hudson should provide tight end depth behind Ross Dwelley and Charlie Woerner (George Kittle was placed on IR earlier in the day). Benjamin, Sudfeld, and Hudson should not be DFS relevant.
As reported by: Matt Maiocco Other tagged players: Nate Sudfeld, Tanner HudsonDET TE Shane Zylstra elevated from practice squad for Sunday
Shane Zylstra has been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. He seems to be an insurance measure for T.J. Hockenson who is listed as questionable. If Hockenson were to miss it is likely Darren Fells would see the majority of the tight end snaps and be a decent value play while Zylstra would likely serve as his backup and play in two tight end sets.

Codey McElroy has been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday when the Buccaneers are set to take on the Miami Dolphins. He is expected to provide depth at tight end and is not DFS relevant at this time.

As reported by: Aaron Wilson Other tagged players: Nick RalstonSFO TE George Kittle to be placed on IR
George Kittle will be placed on IR by the 49ers and forced to miss at least 3 games with a calf injury. Kittle who was able to play through the injury last week will be unable to play until November 9th at the earliest, meaning Deebo Samuel and the rest of the 49ers receiving corps should see increased targets during this time. The tight end position is expected to be split between Ross Dwelley and Charlie Woerner with Dwelley likely seeing the majority of the work.
As reported by: Matt MaioccoIND RB Jordan Wilkins ruled out for Monday
Jordan Wilkins has been ruled out for Monday Night when the Colts are set to take on the Baltimore Ravens. Wilkins was not expected to be a factor in this game and is not DFS relevant. The Colts’ backfield should continue to be led by Jonathan Taylor with Nyheim Hines seeing most of the passing down work and Marlon Mack mixing in.
As reported by: Joel EricksonMIA WR Isaiah Ford elevated from practice squad for Sunday

As reported by: Aaron WilsonTEN WR Marcus Johnson activated from IR to active roster
Marcus Johnson has been activated from IR and placed on the active roster ahead of Sunday’s contest for the Titans against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Johnson has been out since mid-preseason with a quad injury and is set to make his return this weekend. Johnson should compete for the WR3 or WR4 role with Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Josh Reynolds, and Chester Rogers but with Julio Jones still out they are all battling for the WR2 role opposite A.J. Brown. None of the four players competing for playing time are DFS relevant at this point especially with so much uncertainty regarding their roles.
As reported by: Paul KuharskyCAR RB Rodney Smith promoted to active roster from practice squad for Sunday
Rodney Smith has been promoted to the active roster from the practice squad ahead of Carolina’s matchup Sunday with the Philadelphia Eagles. This move was expected after Christian McCaffrey was listed as doubtful yesterday. With McCaffrey out Chuba Hubbard (33 snaps last week, 13 carries, 2 targets) should lead the backfield with Smith (26 snaps, no carries, 5 targets) and Royce Freeman (12 snaps, 3 carries, no targets) providing support. Originally it was expected that Hubbard would serve as the fill in for McCaffrey in his 3 down role but Smith actually handled almost all the passing down work and we expect this to be the case again on Sunday. Hubbard should be viewed as a value play with limited upside due to his lack of presence in the passing game, while Smith and Freeman shouldn’t be considered for DFS purposes.
As reported by: Darin GanttCIN RB Joe Mixon remains questionable but trending towards playing "in some capacity" Sunday
Joe Mixon went through a practice Saturday morning to see how his ankle felt and it seems as though things are trending in the right direction for him to be able to play tomorrow against the Green Bay Packers. The only concerning element of the report was the line “in some capacity” which could mean even if Mixon is able to suit up he will be limited. This makes it a lot more difficult to have any confidence playing Mixon, or any other member of the Cincinnati backfield for that matter. If Mixon is limited, Samaje Perine and Chris Evans will split the extra work with Perine likely to see the bulk of it. As is the case with most running back by committees, it is best to stay away from this situation in DFS until we have some more clarity (which we are unlikely to get prior to kickoff).
