As reported by: Field YatesDEN WR Jerry Jeudy officially moved to IR, QB/WR Kendall Hinton promoted from practice squad
As expected, Jerry Jeudy has officially been moved to the IR after being diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks. In his absence Tim Patrick, Courtland Sutton, and Noah Fant should be Teddy Bridgewater’s top options to target. Kendall Hinton has been promoted from the practice squad but is not expected to see many snaps. On Sunday the Broncos will faceoff against the Jacksonville Jaguars who were just dismantled by the Houston Texans.

The Baltimore Ravens have released Trenton Cannon who was serving as their 3rd running back. The Ravens experienced season ending injuries to three of their running backs and have since signed a wealth of veteran backs. These veteran backs , Le’Veon Bell and Devonta Freeman, needed some time to get in shape and pick up the playbook but should be ready to go by Sunday where it is likely that one will be promoted from the practice squad to take on the Kansas City Chiefs. It seems as though Ty’Son Williams and Latavious Murray will still handle the bulk of the running back duties for the time being.

Tyrell Williams has entered the concussion protocol ahead of Monday nights matchup with the Green Bay Packers. If Williams were to miss it is likely that the targets he would have seen will be spread out across the Detroit passing attack. T.J. Hockenson, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Kalif Raymond should be Jared Goff’s top options in a game they are likely to be playing from behind.
As reported by: Eric WoodyardTBB RB Ronald Jones named starter for Week 2
Bruce Arians has named Ronald Jones the starter for the Buccaneers in Week 2 when they are set to take on the Atlanta Falcons. Jones had a rough Week 1 and was taken out after a fumble, Arians said that Jones has his mind right now and is set to play a much larger role in the backfield Week 2. It is tough to believe Arians as he is notorious for lying about running back play time. It remains to be seen what the exact snap numbers will be for the Buccaneers backfield but it is safe to assume all three backs will be involved with Jones and Fournette likely seeing the bulk of the work.

As reported by: Joe PersonNYG TE Evan Engram listed as DNP and RB Saquon Barkley listed as limited in estimated practice report Tuesday
Evan Engram and Saquon Barkley have both popped up on the estimated practice report for the Giants as they prepare to take on the Washington Football Team on Thursday. Engram who missed Sunday is the likelier candidate to be unable to suit up as he was listed as DNP and did not play on Sunday against the Broncos. Barkley, who was able to play last week, has been listed as limited and even if he is able to go on Thursday will likely continue to have some sort of a reduced workload.

D’Wayne Eskridge and Penny Hart both enter concussion protocol, and their availability for Week 2 is now in question. Eskridge’s absence would have the bigger DFS impact however both of their absences wouldn’t be major news. The Seahawks would likely rely even more heavily on D.K. Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and Gerald Everett strengthening their value in a good matchup. This is a situation worth monitoring the rest of the week as the Seahawks are set to take on the Tennessee Titans on Sunday who were absolutely torched by Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1.

SF RB Raheem Mostert (knee) to miss eight weeks
After being one of the most popular plays of the slate of week 1, Mostert suffered torn knee cartilage and will be out for eight weeks. Coach Shanahan has been notorious for using multiple backs, and Trey Sermon was supposed to be popular before being ruled out last week before game day. Elijah Mitchell led the way last week after Mostert went out, and is expected to do so again, with Sermon and JaMycal Hasty also to chip in.

Fitzpatrick had to leave during the game against the Chargers, and will be placed on IR due to a hip subluxation. The injury will cost him 6-8 weeks, and the plan is to roll with Taylor Heinicke. Because the Football Team plays on Thursday against the New York Giants, Heinicke will be in play for showdown purposes despite the short week and tough matchup.

Josh Jacobs has been downgraded to questionable for Monday night with an illness when the Las Vegas Raiders are scheduled to take on the Baltimore Ravens. If he were unable to suit up Kenyan Drake would get a big bump, although it would be a tough matchup. It is also likely the newly acquired Peyton Barber would see some increased run. This will be something to keep an eye on before setting your lineups for the Monday Night Football showdown slate.
