Alvin Kamara

New Orleans Saints
11/19/20, 6:19 PM ET

Alvin Kamara (foot) doesn't practice Thursday

Kamara was a spectator at practice on Thursday after being a limited participant for Wednesday’s session, and while there are reasons to have concerns, it’s still too early to worry about Kamara’s potential status for Sunday’s Week 11 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons since he missed practice time a couple of weeks ago with the same foot injury and was still able to play. However, the practice participation of Kamara on Friday will be important to monitor as it could provide major insight into how serious the aforementioned ailment might be, even if he’s able to play through an injury designation this weekend.

Davante Adams

Los Angeles Rams
11/19/20, 6:46 PM ET

Davante Adams (ankle) doesn't practice Thursday

Adams was a spectator at practice on Thursday after originally being a limited participant in Wednesday’s session, which is definitely a cause for concern for his potential availability in this Sunday’s Week 11 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts since the Packers are typically one of the most conservative teams in the NFL when it comes to lower-body injuries like the ankle issue Adams is currently dealing with. Adams status for this weekend likely depends on his participation in Friday’s practice, but if he’s ultimately unable to suit up, the Packers will at the very least have the services of Allen Lazard for the first time in eight weeks following his recovery from a core injury, so he would likely see a majority of the wide receiver routes opposite Marquez Valdez-Scantling if Adams is unable to play through the aforementioned injury for a second straight week.

D'Andre Swift

Chicago Bears
11/19/20, 7:15 PM ET

D'Andre Swift (concussion) doesn't practice Thursday

Despite practicing fully on Wednesday, Swift has entered the NFL’s concussion protocol and was unable to practice Thursday, putting his status for Sunday’s Week 11 matchup against the Carolina Panthers in some serious doubt. It’s still unclear when exactly Swift sustained the concussion, but he’ll have to clear several hurdles in just a few days to get the go-ahead for this weekend’s contest and appears to be approaching the wrong side of questionable. This comes just one week after Swift was finally able to seize control of the workhorse role in this Detroit backfield, and if he is unable to suit up, it’s already been reported by several Lions’ beat reporters that Adrian Peterson and Kerryon Johnson will be in line to split the running back work.

Drew Lock

Seattle Seahawks
11/20/20, 1:31 AM ET

Drew Lock (ribs) returns to practice Thursday

As expected, Lock was able to be a limited participant in practice on Thursday after sitting out of Wednesday’s session, and he’s still reportedly going to try and play in Sunday’s Week 11 matchup against the Miami Dolphins despite dealing with a ribs injury. However, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported earlier in the week that Lock avoided any fractures and is battling severe pain and bruising, so with some rest and possible pain-management injections, he should be good to go for this weekend’s contest barring a setback. If for some reason, Lock’s condition deteriorates over the next few days, Brett Rypien would be the next man up and be in line to receive the start under center for head coach Vic Fangio and the Broncos’ offensive coaching staff.

Jack Doyle

Indianapolis Colts
11/20/20, 1:55 AM ET

Jack Doyle (concussion) returns to practice Thursday

Doyle was able to return to practice for the first time this week, and he is now officially on track to play in Sunday’s Week 11 matchup against the Green Bay Packers after missing one game due to a concussion. His likely return to the field is a downgrade to the projected fantasy value of Trey Burton and Mo Alie-Cox, who were the two lone tight ends for the Colts in last Thursday’s win over the Tennessee Titans in primetime. Burton continues to lead the tight end group with a 12.7% target share, but make no mistake, this is still a full-blown committee as evidenced by Alie-Cox running 22 routes to Burton’s 19 in the previous game, which significantly lowers each players’ floor and ceilings for daily fantasy formats across the industry.

JJ Arcega-Whiteside

Atlanta Falcons
11/20/20, 1:45 AM ET

JJ Arcega-Whiteside, John Hightower, and Corey Clement placed on reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday

Arcega-Whiteside received a positive test on Thursday morning, and he’s been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list along with Hightower and Clement, who were deemed as high-risk close contacts. Hightower and Clement would need to test negative for five consecutive days to be cleared to return to team facilities, so they’ve effectively been ruled out this Sunday’s Week 11 matchup against the Cleveland Browns as they continue to isolate from the team. Arcega-Whiteside only has five targets on the season and was a healthy inactive for last week’s loss with the return of Alshon Jeffery, so the impact from his absence will be minimal, if not nonexistent, while both Hightower and Clement have also had minuscule roles in the offense when the Eagles are close to full strength. However, Quez Watkins can still be expected to be active in place of Hightower as the fifth wide receiver this weekend.

Tyler Lockett

Las Vegas Raiders
11/18/20, 5:51 PM ET

Tyler Lockett (knee) will play Thursday night; Chris Carson (foot) unlikely to play

Lockett returned to practice on Wednesday, and even though he’s been listed as questionable on the Seahawks’ injury report for Thursday night’s Week 11 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals due to a knee injury, head coach Pete Carroll disclosed to reporters via Zoom conference that Lockett will absolutely play despite dealing with “a bit of a knee sprain”. He didn’t go into further detail about the potential severity, but if Lockett is at less than full health, he’ll have an even lower floor for fantasy purposes than normal. If Lockett is limited in any way, David Moore would more than likely step into the primary wide receiver role opposite of DK Metcalf on the outside, but it’d be interesting to see if he or Freddie Swain assume most of the vacated slot routes in that hypothetical, as Lockett has run well over 50% of his routes from the slot this season.

Raiders to place at least 8 defensive starters on COVID-19 list Wednesday, players still eligible to play in Week 11 if they continue to test negative

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Raiders will intend to place at least eight defensive starters and possibly others who play key roles on the Reserve/COVID-19 list as early as Wednesday afternoon. All the players have deemed as high-risk close contacts, so as long as they continue to test negative, they will be eligible to be activated either Saturday or Sunday prior to game time. However, this still a massive hit to the Raiders’ preparation and game-planning for quarterback Patrick Mahomes since none of the aforementioned players will be permitted in team facilities or be able to participate in practice until the weekend at the earliest.

Travis Homer

Pittsburgh Steelers
11/18/20, 6:03 PM ET

Travis Homer (wrist, hand) officially listed as doubtful for Thursday night

Homer was unable to practice fully this week, and he’s officially been listed as doubtful on the Seahawks’ injury report for Thursday night’s Week 11 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals due to an injured wrist and hand. With Chris Carson also unlikely to play through his questionable designation, Seattle is on track to have a backfield consisting of Carlos Hyde, Alex Collins, and DeeJay Dallas for tomorrow’s contest, and Collins is coming off a Week 10 performance where he led the Seahawks backfield with 11 carries and a 52.5% snap rate. Assuming Hyde is anywhere close to full health, he will be the favorite by a significant margin to lead the aforementioned trio in snaps and touches, but given Carroll’s profound nostalgia for former players, it’d seem likely that Collins will still have a significant role until Carson is able to return to the field, likely as soon as Week 12.

Tyler Lockett

Las Vegas Raiders
11/17/20, 11:32 PM ET

Tyler Lockett (knee) doesn't practice again Tuesday

Lockett was held out of practice for a second consecutive day, and his status for Thursday night’s Week 11 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals is suddenly in some doubt due to a knee injury. Head coach Pete Carroll disclosed to reporters via Zoom conference on Tuesday that Lockett has “a bit of a knee sprain” but didn’t go into further detail about the potential severity. If Lockett is ultimately unable to suit up, David Moore would more than likely step into the primary wide receiver role opposite of DK Metcalf on the outside, but it’d be interesting to see if he or Freddie Swain assume a majority of the vacated slot routes, as Lockett has run well over 50% of his routes from the slot this season. Either way, both wideouts will clearly be in consideration for all of Thursday’s single-game daily fantasy formats across the industry.

Allen Robinson

Detroit Lions
11/17/20, 2:19 PM ET

Allen Robinson (knee) and Cole Kmet (groin) officially active Monday night

Robinson was limited in practice all week, and as expected, he’ll be active for Sunday night’s matchup against the Minnesota Vikings despite continuing to deal with a knee injury. While Robinson’s fantasy production over the last few weeks has been subpar to his normal standards, he’s still accumulated at least nine targets in all but two games, giving one of the highest floors among wide receivers in the league’s most pass-heavy offense through the first nine weeks of the season. Meanwhile, Kmet will also be active following his original questionable designation on the Bears’ injury report, and although his role in the offense isn’t a large one, his presence on the field possibly makes Jimmy Graham and Anthony Miller lower floor options in single-game daily fantasy formats around the industry this evening.

Zach Ertz

Washington Commanders
11/17/20, 3:16 PM ET

Zach Ertz (ankle) designated to return from injured reserve Monday

The Eagles announced that they have officially designated Ertz to return from injured reserve on Monday afternoon, which means he’ll be able to rejoin the team at practice this week and initiates the 21-day window they have to add him back to the active roster. Despite likely practicing in at least a limited fashion leading up to Sunday’s Week 11 matchup against the Cleveland Browns, it still appears to be quite a stretch for Ertz to be activated from injured reserve in time to suit up for this weekend’s contest. Ertz was a major disappointment for fantasy purposes before his injury back in Week 6, so any continued absence will enable Dallas Goedert to be utilized as the de facto number one tight end for quarterback Carson Wentz for likely at least one additional game.

N'Keal Harry

Seattle Seahawks
11/15/20, 8:22 PM ET

N'Keal Harry, Damien Harris and Ryan Izzo active; J.J. Taylor and Jordan Thomas inactive

The Patriots will have N’Keal Harry, Damien Harris and Ryan Izzo active Sunday night, with J.J. Taylor and Jordan Thomas inactive. Taylor does not have a role in the offense with Damien Harris, Rex Burkhead and James White all ahead of him. Given that Sony Michel will eventually be active again, Taylor might struggle to see any work for the rest of the season. Jordan Thomas being inactive means that the Patriots have just one active TE, Ryan Izzo. That obviously sounds appealing, but the Patriots won’t suddenly pepper Izzo with targets just because he is the only active TE. N’Keal Harry returns after missing two games, and should return to his normal role along WRs Damiere Byrd and Jakobi Meyers. With Harry out, Meyers got over 40% of the targets each of the past two weeks, and number that should come back down with Harry healthy.

Mark Ingram

New Orleans Saints
11/15/20, 8:08 PM ET

Mark Ingram officially active for Sunday night

Mark Ingram is officially active for Sunday night, and will play for the first time since Week 6. Ingram was not seeing as many touches the first six weeks of 2020 compared to 2019, and given the presence of both J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards, that trend seems likely to continue. He will be another weapon for the Ravens’ offense, but from a fantasy perspective it is yet another mouth to feed.

Dwayne Washington

Denver Broncos
11/15/20, 4:24 PM ET
