Anthony McFarland inactive Sunday
Anthony McFarland is inactive Sunday, meaning Benny Snell and Jaylen Samuels will be the RBs working behind James Conner. Regardless of who is working as the backup RB, Conner is the clear leader in this backfield and will continue to get most of the work.

Deebo Samuel is inactive Sunday, while Trent Taylor and River Cracraft are both active. Cracraft and Taylor combined for 9 targets last week, catching just 3 for 22 yards, but the return of Brandon Aiyuk and Kendrick Bourne should return both back to smaller roles in the offense.

Troymaine Pope is officially active Sunday after being listed as questionable. Having Pope active just makes it harder to read this RB situation, as Joshua Kelley and Kalen Ballage both will also get work as well.
As reported by: Los Angeles Chargers Other tagged players: Joshua Kelley, Kalen BallageMatt Breida, Jordan Howard and Lynn Bowden all inactive Sunday
Matt Breida was expected to be out, but Jordan Howard is a surprising scratch. That leaves Miami with Salvon Ahmed, DeAndre Washington and Patrick Laird at RB this week. The rookie Salvon Ahmed made his debut last week, gaining 38 yards on 7 carries. DeAndre Washington is active and should make his debut with the Dolphins, and the extent of his role in the offense is the big question. Laird did not receive much work last week, with 1 target and 1 carry, and he is likely to remain the third RB in this offense. Lynn Bowden Jr. has not had a role in this offense this season.

Jerry Jeudy and Diontae Spencer are both active Sunday for the Broncos. Jeudy is coming off the best game of his young career, catching 7 passes for 125 yards and 1 TD. The most appealing fact could be that Jeudy has now seen 24 combined targets over the past two games.

As reported by: Denver BroncosKenyan Drake, Maxx Williams active Sunday
Both Kenyan Drake and Maxx Williams are active Sunday, and the Cardinals offense is finally healthy, giving Kyler Murray all his weapons to work with against Buffalo. Drake being healthy will mean less work available for Chase Edmonds, but both should still be involved today.

Bears plan to elevate Lamar Miller from practice squad for Monday night, and the RB will be needed after David Montgomery was ruled out. Beside Miller, the Bears will also have Ryan Nall and Artavis Pierce at RB, plus WR Cordarrelle Patterson will see work in the rushing game. Making the situation even more complex, Lamar Miller hasn’t played since 2018, making it difficult to know what type of workload he can handle.

Alshon Jeffery is active Sunday and will make his 2020 season debut. With his return, J.J. Arcega-Whiteside is a healthy inactive. Arcega-Whiteside has had a very disappointing season, and being a healthy scratch is a new low point for the 2019 2nd round draft pick.

Per Schefter, we should see Drake active on Sunday, which eats into the appeal of Chase Edmonds. It’s still possible that Drake is limited or takes a back seat to Edmonds even if he is able to go, but Drake could certainly slot right back into his role on early downs assuming he’s not hampered. The Dolphins are expected to be without Matt Breida and Myles Gaskin once again, leaving the Dolphins shorthanded on playmakers with Preston Williams also hitting IR this week. We’ll confirm the status’ of both Drake and Breida closer to kickoff.
