ESPN's Adam Schefter Reports that Eagles WR Alshon Jeffrey is Now "Iffy" to Play Vs. the Seahawks

This Eagles offense is a mess to sort out today with injuries. Jordan Howard and Nelson Agholor are likely out, while Alshon Jeffrey is also questionable. It appeared that Jeffrey was likely to suit up, but ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that he is now “iffy” to play. Agholor did not practice all week, and Jeffrey and Howard were limited.

This could be the week Carson Wentz breaks out, as the Eagles have played some very difficult matchups mid-season. He will be without his starting RT, Lane Johnson, but Jadeveon Clowney is questionable with a hip injury on the other side of the ball. The Seahawks currently rank as the 2nd-worst team in pressure rate and have allowed the 5th-most passing yards in football.

The question is where the targets will go. If Agholor and Jeffrey sits, the Eagles WRs will be JJ Arcega-Whiteside, Mack Hollins, Jordan Matthews, and Greg Ward. All are dirt cheap across the industry and multiple receivers could easily pay off their price tags against a Seahawks defense that ranks 30th in pressure rate, 30th in sack rate, 12th in WR FPs, seventh in TE FPS, and allows the third-highest pass-to-run ratio. Look for Dallas Goedert, Zach Ertz, and Miles Sanders to see added volume in the passing game as well.

On a main slate starved for value, Miles Sanders would be one of the best options should Howard sit. However, there are reports that Jay Ajayi could mix in as the early-down back. However, if Jeffrey or Agholor sit, Sanders should see more work in the passing game. Sanders played 61 of 72 snaps last weekend, rushing 11 times and receiving four targets.

ESPN's Sal Paolantonio "Expects an Even Time Share Between Miles Sanders and Jay Ajayi"

Sanders will reportedly see more of the passing work, while Ajayi will likely run on early downs for the Eagles. Expect Miles Sanders’ ownership to drastically decrease as it appears DFS players lost the biggest value play on the main slate.

Patriots WR Mohamed Sanu (Ankle) Will be on Snap Count if Active Today Against the Cowboys

The Patriots’ wide receiver situation this week with injuries is as messy as the one for the Eagles. Phillip Dorsett was initially projected as an excellent point-per-dollar option on DraftKings, Yahoo, and Fantasy Draft. However, because he has yet to receive medical clearance to resume football activity, his status vs. the Cowboys is in serious doubt. Sanu, who is the second option in the Patriots passing game behind Julian Edelman, also appears unlikely to play. Even if Sanu takes the field, he will likely be limited and on a possible snap count. This means rookie first-round pick N’Keal Harry and undrafted rookie Jakobi Meyers could see significant roles on Sunday.

Although the matchup isn’t great – the Cowboys are 19th in pass DVOA and rank 30th in FPs allowed to WRs – Harry and Meyers would become very interesting value options on the main slate should Dorsett and Sanu sit. Harry played 43.2% of the snaps and was targeted four times last week in his NFL debut, and he carries more upside than Meyers, who has only seen 15 targets this season. With potentially a 34% target share up for grabs, Edelman should also see a few extra balls thrown his way.

Saints CB Marshon Lattimore (Hamstring) is not Expected to Play Today, May Return Against the Falcons on Thursday Night Football

With Lattimore likely out today, D.J. Moore could be in for another good game against the Saints. While the Saints are a great defense, ranking 27th in FPs allowed to receivers and eighth in pass DVOA, they allow the highest passing percentage in the NFL. Thus, Kyle Allen may have to throw a lot with the Panthers expected to be trailing in this game. Over the last three games, D.J. Moore has a 32% target share and a 39% air yards share, and we have him projected for a 25% target share today.

49ers TE George Kittle (Ankle/Knee) is Expected to Play Tonight Against the Packers

As Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports reporte yesterday that Kittle was likely to play on Sunday night against the Packers, ESPN’s Adam Schefter echoed the same optimism on Sunday.

If the star tight end suits up, Ross Dwelley, who has filled in admirably in Kittle’s place for the 49ers recently, will be relegated to his backup role. We project Kittle for a 22% target share against a Packers defense that allowed the eighth-most schedule adjusted fantasy points to the TE position. Even if Kittle plays at less than 100%, he showed he can still produce, evidenced by his 6-79-1 line against the Cardinals in Week 9.
