Bears K Eddy Pineiro (Knee) Questionable for MNF

The Bears clearly made the right decision to go with Pineiro as their kicker, as the second-year man from Florida drilled a 53-yard game-winner last week. Pineiro, who also made kicks from 40 and 52 yards in Denver, appeared on the injury report with a right knee ailment. He suffered the injury in the weight room and Head Coach Matt Nagy said it is minor.

Chicago’s new hero will be someone to monitor as we approach MNF Showdown contests. While pricing for the Bears-Redskins game isn’t available yet on most sites, Pineiro should be a popular option if he is good to go, with both of these teams starting 2019 slowly on offense.

Eagles Promote WR Greg Ward to Active Roster

WR Greg Ward joins a banged up Eagles receiving corps that already ruled out WR DeSean Jackson vs. the Lions. Ward’s addition to the team roster does not bode well for WR Alshon Jeffrey’s chances of suiting up, as he did not practice all week and is listed as questionable with a calf injury. TE Dallas Goedert (calf) is questionable too, meaning many Carson Wentz targets could be up for grabs.

WR Nelson Agholor, who won Showdown slates for fantasy players on Sunday night against Atlanta, stepped up when Jackson and Jeffrey exited the game, finishing with eight catches for 107 yards and a score. Min-priced WR Mack Hollins also found his way into some winning lineups with five catches for 50 yards.

Agholor is virtually a cash game lock at only $3,600 on DK and $4,800 on FanDuel, and he is projected to be one of the highest owned players in tournaments as well. The industry is turning to WR JJ Arcega-Whiteside, who played 75 snaps against the Falcons and brought in one of four targets, as a pivot of off the Agholor chalk. Hollins makes for a fine large-field GPP play assuming Jeffrey sits, and Ward should merit similar consideration.

Seahawks DT Poona Ford and DE Ziggy Ansah Set to Play Sunday

The Seahawks get an enormous boost to their defensive line this Sunday, with Ford back and Ansah ready to make his Seahawks debut. Ansah has been one of the league’s better pass rushers for years, and now we will get the chance to see him and Jadeveon Clowney get after the Saints backup QBs.

The Seahawks defense, which currently ranks 13th in DVOA, makes for a nice point-per-dollar option across the industry as its price is set as if Saints QB Drew Brees will be under center.

Weather Expected to "be a Factor" Sunday for Ravens-Chiefs

This is a huge situation to monitor for NFL DFS in Week 3. This game still has the highest total of any game this weekend, but the O/U has dropped and is now currently at 52.5 because of weather concerns.

Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Mark Andrews, and Travis Kelce are among the most expensive options at their respective positions across the industry and are currently projected to see top-four ownership at QB and TE. LeSean McCoy, Sammy Watkins, and Marquise Brown have projected ownership in the top-12 of their positions as well.

If the conditions in the forecast come to fruition at Arrowhead, we should lower our expectations for the implied total and both passing games. Ravens RB Mark Ingram and the Chiefs’ lead back (McCoy is questionable) would benefit as a result.

Teddy Bridgewater Took Saints Offense to Dinner the Night Before Drew Brees had Surgery

The Saints backup QB took his entire offense to a steak dinner the night before future HOF Drew Brees had surgery on his thumb. He told his team how he would lead in Brees’ extended absence. Though Head Coach Sean Payton would not commit to whether Bridgewater or Swiss Army knife QB Taysom Hill would start in Week 3 at Seattle, this could be an indication that Bridgewater will be the guy.

Teddy B. appeared in six regular-season games in a Saints uniform and has only seen extensive playing time in two of those games, but he would merit GPP consideration as a cheap option against a Seattle defense that coughed up 418 yards in Week 1 to Andy Dalton. Chris Gimino currently has Bridgewater projected at 0.1% ownership.

Texans LT Laremy Tunsil (Ankle) Expects to Play Despite Questionable Status

After seeing tons of offensive linemen across the league sidelined from injuries in Week 2, QB DeShaun Watson could be without his best pass protector that Houston just bet the mortgage on.

Watson has already been taken down for 10 sacks in 2019 after leading the league in the same category in 2018. In fact against Jacksonville, he tied the NFL record for most consecutive games getting sacked 4+ times. Ouch.

The Los Angeles Chargers have an elite defensive line that has mustered only two sacks so far this season and it could be due for some regression. At $2,500 on DraftKings, this unit stands out as a very nice value in all formats and would see an uptick should Tunsil miss this game.

David Moore (Shoulder) Expected to Play Week 3

Demaryius Thomas Doubtful, Josh Bellamy Questionable Week 3

Thomas is doubtful for Sunday, 1 week after bringing no value in his Jets debut, finishing with 1 catch for -2 yards. Bellamy is questionable and will need to be monitored prior to this week’s game, but his role in the offense is limited either way.

Brown was released by the Patriots Friday, just 1 game into his tenure with the team. He is facing civil issues related to sexual assault, and the distractions finally became too much for the Patriots. The rest of the Patriots’ WR’s will see increased usage going forward, with Josh Gordon, Julian Edelman and Phillip Dorsett forming a productive trio.

Ryan Izzo (Calf) and TE Matt LaCosse (Ankle) Both Questionable Week 3

Both Izzo and LaCosse are questionable for Week 3, although neither TE has played a significant role in the offense so far this season. The Patriots have shifted away from TE’s this season, and neither player has significant value even if healthy.

Marlon Mack (Calf) Practices Friday, Questionable Week 3

Mack was not able to practice Wednesday or Thursday, so there is still a risk of him sitting Week 3. He has been a true lead back this season, with 45 carries in two games, but the Colts might be careful with him even if he suits up. Nyheim Hines would see the biggest boost if Mack is out, with Jordan Wilkins backing him up.

T.Y. Hilton

9/20/19, 4:01 PM ET

TY Hilton (Quad) Questionable Week 3

Hilton is questionable for Week 3 after being limited all week in practice. However, he does appear likely to play. He is the clear number 1 option, catching 12 of his 15 targets for 130 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Colts offense is run focused this season, but Hilton has been able to retain his status as a valuable WR option.
