D.J. Moore

Buffalo Bills
11/18/18, 1:26 PM ET

A Sneaky WR in a Favorable Matchup

Per the FanShare Buzz Tool on LHQ, D.J. Moore is garnering little attention around the DFS industry this week, despite Cam Newton’s popularity and the Panthers 26.5 projected team total. Moore was a chalk WR option two weeks ago where he let down many against Tampa Bay, and since then has seemed to drop off of the industry’s radar. That said, Moore gets a favorable matchup this week against a porous Lions defense, where Darius Slay will primarily be matched up with Devin Funchess for most of the afternoon. If you’re looking for a low-owned cheap wideout with upside that was an industry favorite just two weeks ago, D.J. Moore fits the bill this week against an exploitable Lions secondary.

Trey Quinn

Detroit Lions
11/18/18, 12:47 PM ET

Trey Quinn to start at WR for the injured Jamison Crowder

Trey Quinn to start at WR for the injured Jamison Crowder. We’re not sure what this means in terms of volume in a passing game that doesn’t breed tons of opportunities, but Quinn is a potential GPP dart throw given that his snap count will be on the rise with the Skins down to just Josh Doctson and Maurice Harris to complement Jordan Reed. The Skins offense doesn’t feature any safe targets, but Reed is the top target in the passing game despite continually disappointing DFS owners to this point.

Keke Coutee

Miami Dolphins
11/18/18, 12:57 PM ET

Keke Coutee will play Sunday, as expected

Per the late-night report, Keke Coutee will play Sunday for the Texans, as expected. This will be Coutee’s first time taking the field since the loss of Will Fuller for the season and the team’s acquisition of Demaryius Thomas, as the wideout hasn’t played since week 7 against the Jaguars. His workload will likely be similar to what it was when both Fuller and Deandre Hopkins were active, making him an interesting option in PPR formats for week 11 against the Redskins.

Tajae Sharpe

San Francisco 49ers
11/18/18, 12:46 PM ET

Tajae Sharpe (ankle) will play Sunday for Titans

Tajae Sharpe (ankle) will play Sunday for the Titans. Fellow wideout Taywan Taylor was ruled out for the team’s week 11 matchup with the Colts, so Sharpe may get a few extra looks alongside Corey Davis, who figures to see the bulk of the target share. Sharpe is nothing more than a deep GPP flier, having only one touchdown on the season and one game above 100 yards receiving.

John Ross

Philadelphia Eagles
11/18/18, 12:53 PM ET

John Ross (groin) will play Sunday for Bengals

John Ross (groin) will play Sunday for the Bengals. With fellow wideout A.J. Green missing another week due to his toe injury, Ross is likely to see a heavier target share than usual in a difficult matchup on the road against a stout Ravens defense. Ross caught two passes on 6 targets last week in Green’s absence, including a touchdown. Tyler Boyd will likely be the most heavily targeted option in the Bengals aerial attack, but Ross makes for a possible GPP dart throw given his potentially increased workload.

Chris Godwin

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
11/18/18, 12:50 PM ET

Chris Godwin (ankle) will play Sunday, as expected

Chris Godwin (ankle) will play Sunday, as expected. Godwin was listed questionable throughout the week with the injury, although it wasn’t the first time this season Godwin has carried an injury designation during the practice week and then ended up being good to go by game time. Expect Godwin to see his normal workload this Sunday against the Giants. That said, he is nothing more than a GPP flier given how the Buccaneers spread the ball around in the passing attack.

A.J. Green

Arizona Cardinals
11/18/18, 12:36 PM ET

A.J. Green officially inactive for Bengals despite traveling with team to Baltimore

A.J. Green is officially inactive for the Bengals despite traveling with the team to Baltimore. There had been reports this morning that Green was going to test out his injured toe in warmups, but it appears the injury is severe enough that he will not suit up today. His traveling with the team and testing the toe in warmups does bode well for his potential to return for week 12 against the Browns. Look for Tyler Boyd to once again be the most heavily targeted Bengals pass-catcher in Green’s absence.

Lamar Jackson

Baltimore Ravens
11/18/18, 11:11 AM ET

Lamar Jackson confirmed as starting Sunday vs Bengals

Per Ian Rapoport, Lamar Jackson will start Sunday vs the Bengals, as expected. Look for Jackson to be a popular DFS value play at QB for the week 11 slate given his rushing floor and passing upside against a banged-up Bengals defense. That said, Jackson carries some risk as well, as he is yet to show he is a proficient passer at the NFL level, and could easily be benched in favor of Robert Griffin III should he struggle out of the gate.

Joe Flacco

Cincinnati Bengals
11/18/18, 9:53 AM ET

Joe Flacco (hip) officially out Sunday, as expected

No surprise here, but Joe Flacco has officially been ruled out Sunday, as expected. Flacco was listed as doubtful this week due to the hip injury, and there was much discussion about if Lamar Jackson or Robert Griffin III would handle the majority of the snaps under center for the Ravens. That was cleared up last night when Adam Schefter reported that Jackson was expected to start Sunday and see the majority of reps at QB. Flacco reportedly will not need surgery on his injured hip, and thus hopes to return to action this season.

Chris Godwin

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
11/18/18, 12:40 PM ET

Chris Godwin (ankle) expected to suit up Sunday

Chris Godwin is expected to suit up Sunday for Tampa Bay and play through his ankle injury. Godwin was listed questionable throughout the week with the injury, although it certainly isn’t the first time this season Godwin has carried an injury designation during the practice week and then ends up being good to go by game time. Expect Godwin to see his normal workload this Sunday against the Giants.

Rob Gronkowski

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
11/18/18, 9:50 AM ET

Rob Gronkowski (back) expected to return to action Week 12

Rob Gronkowski is expected to return to action Week 12 after the Patriots bye week this week. Gronk had missed two consecutive weeks due to his lingering back issues, but it appears he will be rested and ready to go for the Patriots week 12 matchup with the Jets. For now, expect him to handle his usual workload in the week 12 matchup barring any setbacks between now and game day.

Lamar Jackson

Baltimore Ravens
11/18/18, 12:58 AM ET

Schefter: Joe Flacco not expected to play, Lamar Jackson expected to start and handle majority of work; Keke Coutee, Antonio Gates (both Q) expected to play

Joe Flacco is not expected to play Sunday, setting up Lamar Jackson to handle his first career start with Robert Griffin also likely seeing some snaps, although how many is a mystery. There is some GPP viability to Jackson given his rushing upside, but the uncertain snap count does make him a risky proposition for cash games. Jackson is reportedly set to handle the “majority” of the snaps, but that’s a vague statement and may depend more so on how he handles things during the game. Alex Collins gets a bump from a dual-threat QB, as it’ll force one of the defenders in the box to account for him which isn’t the case with Flacco under center. Houston WR Keke Coutee is set to return Sunday, although Demaryius Thomas’ presence does eat into his target share. He’s on the fringe of GPP viability against a Washington defense that is more vulnerable via the air. Antonio Gates, who like Coutee is officially listed as questionable, is also expected to play Sunday. He hasn’t been a consistent target for Phillip Rivers and isn’t a recommended DFS target. In other Schefter news, AJ Green (doubtful) isn’t expected to play, but that’s no surprise.

Sammy Watkins

Baltimore Ravens
11/17/18, 4:38 PM ET

Sammy Watkins officially listed as questionable for Monday night vs Rams

Sammy Watkins is officially listed as questionable for Monday night vs the Rams. Watkins appears to be more on the doubtful side of questionable as he was limited in practice Thursday but then sat out Friday and Saturday, which suggests he may have suffered a setback during the week. If Watkins is unable to suit up Monday it will be the second consecutive week the foot ailment has kept him out of action. Look for Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce to be the most heavily-targeted pass catchers for the Cheifs, with Chris Conley possibly seeing a few extra looks as well if Watkins is unable to go.

Taywan Taylor

Houston Texans
11/17/18, 4:05 PM ET

Taywan Taylor (foot) downgraded to out Sunday for Titans

Taywan Taylor has been downgraded to out Sunday for the Titans due to his foot injury. No real surprise here as Taylor has been unable to practice for two weeks due to the ailment, but it has now been confirmed that Taylor will miss his second consecutive week. Fellow wideout Tajae Sharp is questionable as well, and if he too can’t suit up there will be plenty of targets opened up for the remaining Titans pass catchers. Corey Davis seems locked into the largest target share, but Cameron Batson and tight end Jonnu Smith make interesting punt options as well if Sharpe were to also be ruled out.

Adam Shaheen

Miami Dolphins
11/17/18, 3:12 PM ET

Bears activate TE Adam Shaheen (foot) off IR

The Bears have activated TE Adam Shaheen (foot) off of IR. Shaheen suffered the foot injury in a preseason game at Denver on August 18th, but appears to be in line to make his season debut on Sunday night against the Vikings. It is yet to be seen what kind of role Shaheen will have right off the bat, competing with fellow TE Trey Burton as well as the likes of Allen Robinson and Taylor Gabriel for passing looks in the Bears offense.
