Jamison Crowder gets in a limited practice Thursday; Jordan Reed also limited, Adrian Peterson practices fully
Jamison Crowder gets in a limited practice Thursday, which bodes well for his Week 10 status, especially given how short-handed the Redskins are at WR. Crowder would likely lead the position in targets with only Josh Doctson and Maurice Harris behind him, with Harris likely spending more time on the outside (he’s better suited to run out of the slot). Jordan Reed was also limited, while Adrian Peterson practiced fully. He’ll be needed with Chris Thompson out, but Kapri Bibbs will be the main beneficiary in terms of passing-down playing time.

Clement popped up on the Eagles’ injury report after he missed Thursday’s practice due to an illness. There hasn’t been any indication that he’s in jeopardy of being inactive for Sunday night’s matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, but if he is unable to play, the Eagles would be left with a backfield consisting of Josh Adams and Wendell Smallwood since Darren Sproles reaggravated his hamstring injury in Wednesday’s practice and has already been confirmed out for Week 10.
As reported by: Dave Zangaro via TwitterRB Chris Thompson (ribs) ruled out for Week 10
Adrian Peterson should lead the Redskins backfield again behind a battered Redskins offensive line. However, the team comes in as 3-point road underdogs against Tampa Bay which could potentially mean more passing down snaps for Kapri Bibbs if expected game flow comes to fruition. Even if it doesn’t, the Bucs have been far more susceptible to the pass than run this year with opposing teams resorting to the air early and often, perhaps making Bibbs a better play than Peterson considering price.

The limited tag doesn’t bode well for the change-up back’s chances of playing in Week 10. If Gio does suit up he would likely be eased back in seeing it’s his first week of practice in nearly 2 months. Joe Mixon is likely to see a workhorse role again on Sunday against the potent offense of the Saints. Mixon could be relied upon even more heavily with the Bengals’ top playmaker in A.J. Green being out as well.

The Jets wideouts are nursing ankle injuries after playing through them in Week 9. Both now appear questionable for Week 10 against Buffalo and Friday’s practice report will be telling. If either receiver can suit up, they may have some added upside this week with Josh McCown starting at QB in place of rookie Sam Darnold. Additionally, the Bills struggling offense should afford ample opportunities for the Jets passing offense despite the low game total.

Wednesday was simply a rest day for the Bucs’ WR1. He’ll look to rebound from his 1 catch performance in Week 9, a game in which he was still targeted 10 times.
As reported by: Greg AumanChris Thompson (ribs) not practicing Thursday
Thompson appears doubtful again this week, leaving Adrian Peterson to lead the Redskins backfield behind a battered Redskins offensive line. However, the team comes in as 3-point road underdogs against Tampa Bay this week which could potentially mean more passing down snaps for Kapri Bibbs if expected game flow comes to fruition. Even if it doesn’t, the Bucs have been far more susceptible to the pass than run this year with opposing team resorting to the air early and often.
As reported by: Kareem Copeland Other tagged players: Adrian Peterson, Kapri BibbsWR Sammy Watkins (foot) not practicing again on Thursday
Watkins is now looking closer to doubtful for Week 10. Chris Conley will be in line for WR2 duties assuming Watkins misses Sunday’s game against the Cardinals, with Demarcus Robinson rounding out 3-WR sets. TE Travis Kelce and WR Tyreek Hill are more likely to soak up Watkins’ 6 targets per game than Conley or Robinson are of being factors on Sunday, especially with Patrick Peterson on the outside.

Sam Darnold is in street clothes, not practicing for the 2nd straight day. Darnold is out for Week 10 vs the Bills.

Anderson returned from injury last week so let’s hope this is just precautionary rest fro the Jet WR.

As reported by: Adam Schefter TwitterTexans claim WR DeAndre Carter from Eagles, waive Tyler Ervin
Texans claim WR DeAndre Carter from Eagles and waive Tyler Ervin in a corresponding move. With Will Fuller out and Keke Coutee still banged up, the Texans are adding some depth at the WR spot. It seems very unlikely that Carter enters the DFS discussion unless more injuries hit the Texans WR corps.

Vikings have waived Roc Thomas to open up space for Abdullah, so it’s just one depth RB replacing another. No real DFS impact here with Cook and Murray on track to play.

Taywan Taylor doesn’t practice Wednesday, and fellow WR Tajae Sharpe was limited. The Titans currently have three healthy recievers on the roster (Corey Davis, Darius Jennings and Cameron Batson), so they are going to need at least one of these guys to improve as the week pushes forward. Sharpe apparently suffered some sort of minor setback during warmups on MNF, but did play. He didn’t do much, but his production is going to be volatile on a team that doesn’t move the ball well through the air. We’ll continue to update this one over the course of the week.

Khalil Mack and Allen Robinson practice fully on Wednesday, which is great news for the Bears after both missed Week 9. It’s looking like they should both be in uniform for Week 10, and Robinson’s presence does eat into the value of Taylor Gabriel (who was limited in practice today), Anthony Miller and Trey Burton. The Bears have a home draw with the Lions on tap and their D/ST unit is well worth a look after the Lions surrendered a ridiculous ten sacks to the Vikings this past weekend.
