Patriots injury report: Edelman (ankle), Gronk (ankle/back), Michel (knee) among those limited

Patriots injury report: Edelman (ankle), Gronk (ankle/back), Michel (knee) among those limited. Edelman played in Week 9 and doesn’t appear to be in any sort of danger for Week 10, while Sony Michel is trending towards suiting up. Gronk is still a little more of a question mark, but he still has a few days to get some work in and probably wouldn’t have to practice in order to play, so this is a situation that’ll require monitoring as the week moves along.

Mike Evans doesn't practice Wednesday

Mike Evans doesn’t practice Wednesday, although there still appears to be no reason to worry at this stage. The Bucs are likely just managing the reps of their top playmaker, so unless he continues to miss time over the next two days, proceed as usual. Tampa Bay steps into a Week 10 home draw with a Washington defense that is no pushover, but does tend to be much tougher on opposing ground games than aerial attacks. Fitzpatrick and Co. will have some GPP appeal here.

Mohamed Sanu

Miami Dolphins
11/07/18, 6:05 PM ET

Mohamed Sanu, Matt Bryant do not practice Wednesday

Mohamed Sanu, Matt Bryant do not practice Wednesday. No need to panic in regards to Sanu’s status yet, as he still has a few more days to get some work in and there isn’t anything to suggest he’s in danger of missing Sunday’s game.

Jamison Crowder, Chris Thompson both miss Wednesday's practice

Jamison Crowder and Chris Thompson both missed Wednesday’s practice. The Redskins have had a brutal stretch of injuries over the last month and just placed Paul Richardson on IR this week, so they really need to get Crowder/Thompson healthy if they hope to stay close to the top of the NFC East. It’ll be well worth tracking the practice participation of Crowder and Thomspon, as Josh Doctson and Maurice Harris would be the top targets with Crowder out (among WRs) and we’d see more run out of Kapri Bibbs as a pass-catching back if Thompson can’t go.

Jimmy Graham does not practice Wednesday, but still expected to play Sunday

Jimmy Graham does not practice Wednesday, but is still expected to play Sunday. Randall Cobb practiced fully today so it seems very likely that Aaron Rodgers is going to have his full complement of weapons, minus Geronimo Allison who is facing an extended absence. Marquez Valdes-Scantling has seemingly overtaken the #2 WR role from Cobb in terms of targets, and that’s great news for his DFS appeal as he has more big-play ability and is a better red-zone option for Aaron Rodgers.

Ameer Abdullah

Jacksonville Jaguars
11/07/18, 5:17 PM ET

Vikings add RB Ameer Abdullah

The Vikings signed Ameer Abdullah this afternoon, adding some more depth to an already crowded backfield. Dalvin Cook seems to be finally picking up some steam after a handful of missed games and a few others with limited snaps, so with Latavius Murray behind Cook, there aren’t going to be many opportunities for Abdullah to shine. He may end up seeing more time as a special teamer.

Chris Carson

Seattle Seahawks
11/07/18, 5:00 PM ET

RB Chris Carson (hip, thigh) won't practice Wednesday

The Seahawks back is expected to be questionable heading into Sunday’s matchup with the Rams after re-aggravating an injury in the 2nd half of last week’s game. Mike Davis will carry the load if Carson can’t suit up with rookie back Rashaad Penny mixing in. Davis was productive with a massive 25 touches in Week 4 when Carson was held out and is only $4,300 on DraftKings, though gamescript may not be as favorable in Los Angeles this time around.

Quincy Enunwa

New York Jets
11/07/18, 4:44 PM ET

WRs Quincy Enunwa and Robby Anderson don't practice on Wednesday

The Jets wideouts are nursing ankle injuries after playing through them in Week 9. Both are still expected to play in Week 10 against Buffalo and may have some added upside this week with Josh McCown starting at QB in place of rookie Sam Darnold. Additionally, the Bills struggling offense should afford ample opportunities for the Jets offense despite the low game total.

John Ross

Philadelphia Eagles
11/07/18, 4:35 PM ET

WR John Ross practices in full on Wednesday; RB Giovani Bernard gets in limited practice

Ross is on track to play in Week 10 and should immediately see major snaps and targets with A.J. Green expected to be out for at least the next couple weeks. Gio should be eased back in behind Joe Mixon if he suits up on Sunday, seeing it’s his first week of practice in nearly 2 months. The Bengals-Saints game has the highest projected total of the week despite’s Green absence which should lead to a productive game from at least one of Tyler Boyd or John Ross. However, Andy Dalton’s outlook takes a hit without his biggest playmaker available.

Ryan Tannehill

Tennessee Titans
11/07/18, 3:22 PM ET

QB Ryan Tannehill (shoulder) ruled out for Week 10

The team’s hope is for Tannehill to return in Week 12 after the Dolphins’ bye week. QB Brock Osweiler didn’t need to do much in Week 9 at home against the Jets but should be forced into passing a lot more on the road at Green Bay on Sunday, making the Packers D/ST a fine option this week.

Sam Darnold

Seattle Seahawks
11/07/18, 2:50 PM ET

QB Sam Darnold has "significant foot sprain" and will not play in Week 10

The rookie QB was spotted wearing a walking boot today due to a “significant foot sprain” suggesting this could be an extended layoff. No injury was reported in Week 9’s loss to the Dolphins, making this news quite the surprise. Veteran QB Josh McCown will take over as the starter in Week 10 and could actually bring a spark to a Jets offense that’s been sputtering of late behind Darnold’s poor play. Additionally, the Jets come in as a rare touchdown home-favorite against a Bills offense that also struggles to sustain drives, leaving ample opportunities for opposing offenses. McCown is only $4,300 on DraftKings and has proven to be a serviceable fantasy asset in the past, which puts him into consideration this week.

Rob Gronkowski

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
11/07/18, 2:20 PM ET

RB Sony Michel and TE Rob Gronkowski are practicing on Wednesday

Michel should be good to go in Week 10, likely relegating WR Cordarelle Patterson to a bit player again after seeing 11 carries and a touchdown in Week 9. James White should also see his rushing attempts scaled back while still seeing most of the passing down snaps. It’s a good start to week for Gronk, who looks to be on the right side of questionable for Sunday’s game at Tennessee, where QB Tom Brady may finally have their full offensive arsenal at his disposal.

Sammy Watkins

Baltimore Ravens
11/07/18, 2:08 PM ET

WR Sammy Watkins (foot) not practicing Wednesday

Watkins is considered day-to-day and seems somewhere between questionable and doubtful for Week 10. Chris Conley would be in line for WR2 duties if Watkins were to miss with Demarcus Robinson rounding out 3-WR sets. TE Travis Kelce and WR Tyreek Hill are more likely to each pick up an extra target or two than Conley or Robinson being factors on Sunday, especially with Patrick Peterson on the outside.

Torrey Smith

Carolina Panthers
11/07/18, 2:01 PM ET

WR Torrey Smith (knee) ruled out for TNF

The veteran wideout will miss his third straight game on Thursday night with a knee injury. D.J. Moore has seen the most wide receiver snaps on the team in Smith’s absence while Curtis Samuel has mixed in for roughly a third of those snaps, however they both remain 4th and 5th options on the offense behind Christian McCaffrey, Devin Funchess, and Greg Olsen. That being said, the Panthers have been averaging nearly 40 points a game while Smith has been out, so there could still be enough fantasy points to go around in a projected shootout for one of them to have a nice game, evidenced by Samuel’s 2 touchdown performance in Week 9.

Dez Bryant

Baltimore Ravens
11/07/18, 12:46 PM ET

Dez Bryant to the Saints

Saints reached agreement with former Cowboys’ WR Dez Bryant. The workouts looked impressive, according to Shefter’s sources. We shall see if Bryant has anything to offer fantasy wise, but this was a top 3 destination for him in terms of fantasy appeal. An accurate passer and a need for a short passing game WR, perhaps Dez will be a slot man in New Orleans
