Cooper Kupp

Seattle Seahawks
10/31/18, 6:37 PM ET

Cooper Kupp (knee) limited in practice Wednesday

Cooper Kupp was limited in practice Wednesday due to his knee injury, but appears to be trending towards playing this weekend against the Saints after missing weeks 7-8 due to the injury. Kupp’s return would lower the ceiling of fellow wideouts Robert Woods and Brandin Cooks, and would immediately make him a great play on the weekend in a potential shootout with Saints in New Orleans. Keep an eye on his practice status in the coming days to ensure he doesn’t suffer a setback and continues to trend towards playing.

Michael Thomas

New Orleans Saints
10/31/18, 6:35 PM ET

Michael Thomas (shoulder) and Cam Meredith (knee) limited in practice Wednesday for Saints

Michael Thomas (shoulder) and Cam Meredith (knee) were limited in practice Wednesday for the Saints. Keep an eye on their practice status heading into the weekend, although as of now nothing suggests either player is in danger of missing their week 9 potential shootout with the Rams. Should either player miss, it would likely mean more targets for Tre’Quan Smith, Ben Watson and Alvin Kamara out of the backfield.

Taylor Gabriel

Chicago Bears
10/31/18, 5:58 PM ET

Taylor Gabriel (knee) limited in practice Wednesday

Taylor Gabriel was limited in practice Wednesday due to a knee injury. At this point there is nothing that seriously suggests that his availability for this weekend’s matchup with the Bills is in question, and especially given the uncertain health of fellow WR Allen Robinson, he seems likely to take the field. That said, keep an eye on his practice status this week to ensure there are no setbacks and he is ultimately good to go.

Allen Robinson

Detroit Lions
10/31/18, 6:06 PM ET

Allen Robinson (groin) doesn't practice Wednesday

Allen Robinson didn’t practice Wednesday due to the groin injury that kept him sidelined week 8. The injury still has Robinson hobbled enough that he couldn’t take the field today, and he appears truly questionable heading into the Bears’ week 9 matchup with the Bills. Keep an eye on his practice status in the coming days, as if Robinson is unable to suit up it will again mean more targets for the likes of Taylor Gabriel, Trey Burton and Anthony Miller.

Alex Collins

Seattle Seahawks
10/31/18, 6:10 PM ET

Alex Collins (foot) limited in practice Wednesday

Alex Collins was limited in practice Wednesday due to a foot injury. This is likely just maintenance related, as Collins should still be in line to see his usual workload Sunday against the Steelers. Collins will continue to split carries out of the backfield with Buck Allen, and newly acquired Ty Montgomery may mix in for a few touches as well.

C.J. Beathard

Detroit Lions
10/31/18, 6:13 PM ET

CJ Beathard (right wrist), Matt Breida (ankle), Pierre Garcon (shoulder/knee) and Raheem Mostert (ankle) all questionable for Thursday night for the 49ers

The 49ers appear to be banged up across the board on offense, with CJ Beathard (right wrist), Matt Breida (ankle), Pierre Garcon (shoulder/knee) and Raheem Mostert (ankle) all questionable for Thursday night’s matchup with the Raiders. Beathard appears to be truly questionable as he has been unable to practice this week due to the injury to his throwing wrist. If he is unable to suit up either Nick Mullens or Tom Savage would handle backup duties, and the offense as a whole would be downgraded. Garcon also appears unlikely to suit up after missing week 8 with these same injuries. Breida seems likely to see his usual workload despite carrying a questionable tag per usual, and Mostert’s involvement as the change of pace back will be determined by his health as well.

Other tagged players: Matt Breida, Pierre Garcon, Raheem Mostert

Aaron Rodgers

Pittsburgh Steelers
10/31/18, 6:15 PM ET

Aaron Rodgers (knee) limited in practice Wednesday

Aaron Rodgers logged a limited in practice Wednesday despite his lingering knee injury. At this point there is no reason to suggest Rodgers won’t be ready for his usual workload for Sunday’s matchup with the Patriots, which figures to be a back-and-forth high scoring affair.

Keke Coutee

Miami Dolphins
10/31/18, 6:17 PM ET

Keke Coutee (hamstring) limited in practice Wednesday, Ryan Griffin (illness) practices in full for Texans

Keke Coutee was limited in practice Wednesday due to his hamstring injury, and tight end Ryan Griffin practiced in full for Texans despite missing week 8 with an illness. It appears Griffin will certainly be good to go Sunday against Denver, and Coutee appears to be trending in the right direction as well. It has been a rollercoaster as of late for this Texans receiving corps, who lost Will Fuller to an ACL tear but then traded for Demaryius Thomas to replace him. If Coutee is active, look for him to see a similar workload to what he was seeing prior to his injury.

Other tagged players: Ryan Griffin

Mohamed Sanu

Miami Dolphins
10/31/18, 6:18 PM ET

Mohamed Sanu (hip) limited in practice Wednesday

Mohamed Sanu was limited in practice Wednesday due to a hip injury. This has been a recurring injury designation for Sanu this season, but nothing suggests he is in danger of missing the Falcons week 9 contest with the Redskins. Look for Sanu to see his usual workload this week on the road against Washington.

Sony Michel

Los Angeles Rams
10/31/18, 6:22 PM ET

Sony Michel (knee) limited in practice Wednesday

Sony Michel logged a limited practice Wednesday due to his knee injury. His ability to practice in a limited fashion bodes well for his return to action week 9 for New England, which is good news given that he was initially designated as week-to-week with the injury. Keep an eye on his practice status in the coming days to confirm that Michel is trending towards reclaiming the early-down work out of the Patriots backfield in what is likely to be a high-scoring battle with the Packers this Sunday.

Dalvin Cook

Dallas Cowboys
10/31/18, 6:25 PM ET

Dalvin Cook (hamstring) limited in practice Wednesday

Dalvin Cook was limited in practice Wednesday due to his hamstring injury. Cook has seemed near returning for weeks now but hasn’t managed to take the field since week 4 due to the injury. If Cook is able to return to action this week against the Lions, he will find himself in an excellent matchup for RB’s against a porous Lions defense. Cook’s return would take Latavius Murray off the table as well, though he has looked good the past three weeks in Cook’s absence.

Stefon Diggs

New England Patriots
10/31/18, 6:28 PM ET

Stefon Diggs (rib) doesn't practice Wednesday

Stefon Diggs didn’t practice Wednesday due to a rib injury. Keep an eye on this situation closely, as obviously Diggs being unable to suit up would greatly impact the Vikings offense as they prepare to face the Lions week 9. If Diggs weren’t able to suit up, Adam Thielen would see even more targets than usual, with Laquon Treadwell and Aldrick Robinson also seeing additional looks in his absence.

Peyton Barber

Las Vegas Raiders
10/31/18, 6:29 PM ET

Peyton Barber (ankle) limited in practice Wednesday

Peyton Barber was limited in practice Wednesday due to an ankle injury. For now this is most likely just maintenance related, as Barber appears to be in line for his usual workload out of the Buccaneers backfield Sunday against the Panthers, especially with Ronald Jones looking unlikely to suit up due to injury.

Mike Evans

San Francisco 49ers
10/31/18, 6:31 PM ET

Mike Evans (knee) doesn't practice Wednesday

Mike Evans didn’t practice Wednesday due to a knee injury. Monitor this situation closely heading into the weekend, as obviously Evans’s absence would dramatically impact the Fitzpatrick-lead Bucs offense. If Evans were unable to suit up Sunday, it would mean a spike in targets for Desean Jackson, Chris Godwin and O.J. Howard.

Kenny Stills

New Orleans Saints
10/31/18, 4:21 PM ET

Update: Kenny Stills (groin) doesn't practice Wednesday

Updating a previous report, Kenny Stills didn’t practice Wednesday due to his groin injury. It sounds like Stills dressed-out as though he would practice, but then ultimately didn’t participate. Keep an eye on his practice status in the coming days to get a better idea of his week 9 availability, as at this point he seems questionable to make his return after missing week 8 due to the injury.
