LeSean McCoy was a limited participant in practice on Friday
McCoy will spend Friday’s practice doing some individual work in order to see how his ankle responds. Overall the prospects of McCoy playing are not great, but we should know more by the end of the day. McCoy suffered a pretty nasty injury in Sunday’s win vs the Dolphins, but x-rays came back negative on on his ankle, and the team is hopeful that he can play at less than 100%. McCoy was able to stretch at yesterday’s practice, but he was still not able to do any significant work. Marcus Murphy and Mike Tolbert would fill in if McCoy were unable to go this weekend. For now, the news coming out of Bills camp has McCoy listed as being a close call to play on Sunday. His presence on the practice field today only increases his chances slightly, again we should know more by the end of the day.
Michael Thomas a full participant in practice on Thursday
Thomas looked healthy last week and played over 90% of snaps. He should be ready to go in the wildcard weekend showdown vs the Panthers. Thomas should be inline for a good weekend as the Panthers have been shredded by opposing wideouts over the last few weeks. The practice status of Thomas improved on Thursday as he was able to compete without any restrictions.
Both Kelvin Benjamin and Charles Clay practice in a limited fashion on Thursday
More of the same news coming out of Bills camp this afternoon as both Benjamin and Clay practiced in a limited fashion on Thursday and both are still expected to play this week. Benjamin is fighting through a meniscus injury and has clearly played less than full strength the last few games. Clay is no stranger to missing practice time as his knee has been bothering him for the last few weeks. From a matchup standpoint, Clay is the better play this week as he gets to face a Jaguars defense that ranks 20th in pass DVOA against the tight end. If LeSean McCoy were to sit this week, the target ceiling could raise for a player like Clay who should be a safety blanket for Tyrod Taylor.

Neither player was really ever in doubt to miss this week, and both players should be ready to go vs the Saints. Funchess has struggled some in the last few weeks and will face a very good Saints secondary on Sunday afternoon. At this point, it’s probably best to use Funchess as a GPP only type of play. Stewart could potentially serve his normal role as a touchdown troll, but should not be counted on as a reliable DFS option.

McCoy was spotted stretching with the team as practice started today, but ultimately returned to the training room and was listed as an official DNP on the practice report.McCoy was able to walk without his walking boot today, is still very limited in terms of what he can do on the practice field. Falcons offense at full strength for matchup vs the Rams
The Falcons will have Julio Jones, Devonta Freeman, and Taylor Gabriel for this week’s game vs the Rams. All three players were not listed on the final injury report and should be ready to play on Saturday night.

Just like last week, the Titans have ruled out Murray a few days prior to what is now the biggest game of the season. With Murray now officially out the team can focus on the task ahead and will once again feature Derrick Henry as a key offensive component. Henry should be inline for 25 to 30 touches in a winnable matchup vs a Chiefs defense that ranks dead last in rushing DVOA. From a DFS standpoint, let’s hope that Henry does not need a busted screenplay to make value this week.

Thompson’s return to practice increases his chances that he will suit up Sunday against the Jaguars. The Bills are banged up prior to a crucial wild-card weekend, but the addition of Thompson and McCoy to the practice field on Thursday could point to the team having key players on the field come Sunday. The Bills will face a very good Jaguars defense on the road this week, and even at less than 100% could use all the talented players available if they have any chance to pull off a major upset.

Devonta Freeman practices for the second day in a row
Freeman was back at practice again on Thursday and appears to be heading in the direction of playing this weekend. Having missed Tuesday’s practice with a knee injury the team had some concern about Freeman’s availability this weekend. Coach Dan Quinn is encouraged by Freeman’s progress and it appears now that the Falcons will have a full arsenal of offensive weapons vs the Rams on Saturday.
Marqise Lee doesn't have to practice to play Sunday
The Jaguars are hopeful to get number one wide receiver Marqise Lee back for Sunday’s game vs the Bills. Lee has not played in almost a month and has yet to hit the practice field this week. According to Ian Rapoport, there is a chance that Lee could play this Sunday even if he does not practice this week. The addition of Lee would be a big boost to the Jaguars offense, but If he can’t go the combination of Dede Westbrook, Keelan Cole and Allen Hurns should continue to fill in on for the team this week.

Gabrial was able to practice in a limited fashion again on Wednesday, so there is a chance that he plays this weekend. On paper, Gabrial is a nonfactor in terms of DFS, but the Falcons would certainly like to have all talented and healthy hands on deck for this week’s game vs the Panthers.

At this point, he should be considered highly questionable to play vs the Chiefs on Saturday. Look for Derrick Henry to once again receive all the work he can handle.
