The Blue Jackets have won eight of their last 10 games and all the hard work seems to be paying off as they are in heated battle with the Philadelphia Flyers for third place in the Metropolitan Division. Artemi Panarin is the leader here as he has grabbed 11 of his team leading 63 points over the last nine games. His totals of 21 goals and 42 assists are also tops on the team as he skates on the first line with Pierre-Luc DuBois and Cam Atkinson. This line is joined by Alexander Wennberg and defensman Zachary Werenski to form the team’s top power play unit that has scored four goals over the last five games. Seth Jones was a late scratch in the last game as it appears that his injury may be a little more than what was first reported which is why Werenski was moved up to the top power play unit. Wennberg skates with Boone Jenner and Thomas Vanek while Oliver Bjorkstrand skates with Nick Foligno on the team’s third line. Columbus is a pretty cut and dried team so sticking with Panarin and anyone who gets exposure to him is the way to go here this evening.

Despite a few injuries the Boston Bruins have been a pretty exciting team themselves as they have posted eight wins over the last 10 games. This should make for an interesting hockey game here tonight as both teams seem to nearing playoff form. With the team doing so well they probably won’t be looking to rush Patrice Bergeron back into the line-up too quickly so look for David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand to to continue to be the best plays when looking to roster Boston players this evening. Who their center will be is the million dollar question as David Backes is listed as day-to-day due to getting stitches to a laceration above his knee during the last game in which he did not return. David Krejci filled in for a few shifts in his place and might stick on the top line if Backes cannot suit up tonight.
