Big Man Delivering Big Stats of Late
Over the last 9 games, Cody Zeller has averaged 10.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.8 steals/blocks, and he is still cheap across the daily sites. Clint Capela hasn’t played over the last 2 games and his name is swirling in trade rumors right now, meaning there is a chance that Zeller has a much easier matchup tonight. Zeller is cash game viable tonight.
The Elite Player to Own in Cash
It appears James Harden is back to being a dominant fantasy player after dropping 75 points in the last 2 games to go along with double-digit rebounds each game and plenty of assists. Russell Westbrook is also doubtful to play tonight and that is a boost to Harden. In the games Westbrook has sat out this season, Harden has seen his usage rate jump to a staggering 48.3%. He appears to be the best stud to pay up for in cash games.
Reggie Jackson (back) will start Monday
Jackson has officially been upgraded from questionable and will start in Monday’s matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies despite continuing to manage his troublesome back, while Derrick Rose and Markieff Morris were already ruled out with their respective ailments, the former sustaining his injury towards the end of the second quarter of Sunday’s win. Jackson ended up replacing Rose in the starting lineup to begin the second half of that contest, and he’ll start at the point once again, even though Bruce Brown is coming off of a phenomenal fantasy performance in 38 minutes of action off the bench in the previous game. Unsurprisingly, Jackson and Brown haven’t just benefitted from increased playing time with Rose sidelined, as they each see a minimum of a +1.2% increase in usage rate and are averaging at least +0.10 more fantasy points per minute over their normal season-long numbers with Rose, Luke Kennard, and Blake Griffin off the court.

Ricky Rubio (ankle) will start Monday
As expected, Rubio has been upgraded from probable and will start in Monday’s matchup against the Brooklyn Nets after missing one game due to a sore right ankle, while Ty Jerome and Tyler Johnson will join Dario Saric, Cameron Johnson, Aron Baynes, and Frank Kaminsky on the inactive list for tonight’s contest. In Rubio’s absence, Elie Okobo ended up receiving the start at point guard, but he was absolutely atrocious for fantasy purposes in just over 26 minutes of action, whereas, Jevon Carter was much more effective in his 27 minutes off the bench in Sunday’s blowout loss. However, Devin Booker has actually benefitted the most with Saric, Baynes, and Kaminsky off the court this season, as he owns a 31.9% usage rate, a 35.2% assist rate, and is averaging 1.42 DraftKings and 1.34 FanDuel points per minute in a 308.1 minutes sample size.

As expected, Randle has been upgraded from probable and will start in Monday’s matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers despite dealing with a right quad contusion, while Marcus Morris and Frank Ntilikina are also available to play following their original probable designations. The Knicks will have the services of Elfrid Payton for tonight’s contest following his one-game suspension, so he’ll more than likely replace Dennis Smith Jr. in the starting lineup after Smith was relatively underwhelming for fantasy purposes in 27 minutes of action in Saturday’s win. Smith has still been ahead of Ntilikina in the guard rotation of late, and he’ll presumably resume the backup point guard duties for the time being even with Ntilikina on track to return from a one-game injury absence. None of the New York starters see a substantial boost in usage or production with RJ Barrett off the court, but Randle still leads the team with a 28.4% usage rate, a 17.2% rebound rate, and is averaging 1.18 DraftKings and 1.14 FanDuel points per minute in a 531.0 minutes sample size.

Head coach John Beilein already confirmed with reporters at his pregame presser that Nance Jr. will replace Thompson in the starting lineup at center, and Nance has already managed to log at least 23 minutes off the bench in each of the previous nine games. Nance is priced up a bit on daily fantasy sites to reflect his recent increased role in the second unit, but he does have a 16.3% rebound rate, a 14.3% assist rate, and is averaging 1.09 DraftKings and 1.08 FanDuel points per minute with Thompson off the court this season, leaving him in consideration for all formats on tonight’s 10-game main slate.

Bertans has officially been upgraded from questionable and will play in Monday’s matchup against the Golden State Warriors despite dealing with neck tightness, while Rui Hachimura and Moritz Wagner weren’t included on the injury report and are slated to return in tonight’s contest. Hachimura and Wagner will be subject to minute restrictions in their first game back, and with Bertans cleared to play, Washington will have a mostly healthy frontcourt for the first time in quite a while and it should cut into the playing time of Thomas Bryant and Ian Mahinmi this evening. This makes the ancillary members of head coach Scott Brooks rotation tough to target on a 10-game slate, but Bradley Beal still remains in consideration for all daily fantasy formats since he has a 33.1% usage rate, a 28.5% assist rate, and is averaging 1.30 DraftKings and 1.25 FanDuel points per minute on the season thus far.

Somewhat surprisingly, none of the Hawks starters have seen a substantial increase in usage or production with Hunter and Reddish off the court, but Teague will still become an elite value option if he has the opportunity to see 30-plus minutes, as he has a 30.9% assist rate and is averaging 0.84 DraftKings and 0.79 FanDuel points per minute in 167.8 minutes since joining Atlanta in mid-January.

Collin Sexton has quietly been putting up consistently solid fantasy performances as of late averaging 36.23 DKPPG and 34.95 FDPPG over his last 10 games. Sexton has been noticeably more aggressive on the offensive side on the ball with 15+ field goal attempts in every game during that stretch. Despite his solid production, Sexton’s price tag remains extremely accessible for a player that has topped 38 fantasy points four times in his last ten games.
