Lou Williams

Atlanta Hawks

Lou Williams officially ruled out Monday

Lou Williams will officially not play tonight, he was listed doubtful yesterday with an ankle injury. With Williams and Austin Rivers out tonight for the Clippers C.J. Williams, Sindarius Thornwell and Tyrone Wallace will all play heavy minutes.

Austin Rivers

Minnesota Timberwolves

Austin Rivers ruled out Monday

Austin Rivers won’t play Monday versus the Pelicans with an elbow injury. Lock and load Tyrone Wallace into all your lineups tonight, he should get all the minutes he can handle. Sindarius Thornwell will also see an uptick in minutes tonight.

Gary Harris

Gary Harris upgraded to questionable Monday

The Nuggets might get Garry Harris back into the lineup tonight versus Portland. He was listed doubtful earlier, and was thought to be out for the rest of the regular season. He hasn’t played since March 15th.

Karl-Anthony Towns

New York Knicks
4/09/18, 12:39 PM ET

Fighting for a Playoff Spot

The Wolves are one of the teams locked in the tight race for the final playoff spots in the West, so they are a team we can comfortably target. Towns should have his way on the interior against the tanking Grizzlies, especially since I would not expect Marc Gasol to play after logging 35 minutes last night. Towns is averaging a healthy 21 and 12 per game this year, and he could very well exceed those averages tonight. He’s a great spend up option at the center position.

Jrue Holiday

Portland Trail Blazers
4/09/18, 12:37 PM ET

Spend Up on Some Pelicans

If you are looking to pay up for players at this point in the season, it’s wise to do it with players whose teams have something left to play for. Five teams are separated by one game in the West, with four playoff spots available for those teams. The Pelicans are one of them, and they will certainly play to win in these last few games. Holiday played 40 minutes over the weekend and has been filling up the score sheet ever since the injury to DeMarcus Cousins. He is a priority play for me in a favorable matchup against the defensively-challenged Clippers. The Pelicans are my favorite team to target this evening.

Damyean Dotson

New York Knicks
4/09/18, 12:35 PM ET

Holding Steady as a Top Value

With the Knicks dealing with a rash of injury as the season ends, Dotson is staring at some ample opportunity. He has played 28+ minutes in each of the last two games, posting solid fantasy lines to go with that playing time. While his talent is nothing special, the price tag is cheap, and the tanking Knicks might as well see what they have in him down the stretch. Fire him up as a value once again.

Sean Kilpatrick

Chicago Bulls
4/09/18, 11:52 AM ET

Increased Role and a Revenge Narrative to Boot

The Bulls picked up Sean Kilpatrick off the waiver wire and so far, he’s been a nice add to a team that has been decimated by injuries. He has scored at least 23 fantasy points in each of his last five games and now gets to face the team that released him. Not only is this a revenge spot against the Nets, but it’s also a favorable matchup. Brooklyn is one of the worst defensive teams in basketball.

Delon Wright

Indiana Pacers
4/09/18, 11:49 AM ET

Load up on the Backcourt in Toronto

With the one seed locked up in the Eastern Conference, the Raptors have been resting players as they gear up for the playoffs. It sounds like Kyle Lowry is going to get the night off tonight, which is great news for both Delon Wright and Fred VanVleet. You can pay them individually or pair them up given how cheap they are across the industry. In the games that Lowry has missed this season, Wright has averaged 25 fantasy points per contest.

MarShon Brooks

Chicago Bulls
4/09/18, 11:48 AM ET

Unreal Rate of Production

MarShon Brooks has scored at least 30 fantasy points in all five of his NBA games this season. During that stretch, he has averaged an elite 1.35 fantasy points per minute. With each and every game, he is proving that he is not a fluke. With nothing to play for, the Grizzlies have no reason not to play Brooks 30+ minutes tonight against the Wolves, who aren’t particularly stout defensively.

Emmanuel Mudiay

Sacramento Kings
4/09/18, 11:47 AM ET

Emmanuel Mudiay listed out Monday, Tim Hardaway Jr. listed doubtful

Emmanuel Mudiay is listed out for Monday’s game against the Knicks. This will be the second straight game, he will miss with a concussion. Trey Burke and Frank Ntilikina are the main beneficiaries without Mudiay, and even the ageless Jarrett Jack saw 25 minutes last game. Tim Hardaway Jr. is listed doubtful with an ankle injury, he also missed the last game. Damyean Dotson has been playing lights out, without Hardaway on the court. The last two games he has gone for 50 & 26 FDP points.

Justin Holiday

Denver Nuggets
4/09/18, 11:36 AM ET

Minutes Are Back Up

If you’re like me, you wrote off the Bulls a while ago, and it’s painful to want to roster any of these guys. In tournaments, I’m looking at Justin Holiday tonight. He’s played at least 28 minutes in three straight games, and has at least 11 shot attempts in each of those games. He’s put up 20+ fantasy points in three straight games as well. His usage has been over 22% in each of those games. It’s always tough guessing the minutes of the Bulls, but if Holiday gets 28+ minutes tonight, he should pay off this price tag.

Joe Harris

Detroit Pistons
4/09/18, 11:31 AM ET

Back-to-back Good Games

The Nets will be without Whitehead, LeVert (doubtful), and it sounds like they’re shutting down Carroll for the rest of the regular season. Russell has only played 30+ minutes once in the last ten games, and I would highly doubt the extra minutes to go to him. I would expect Dinwiddie and Harris to play some extra minutes, and they draw a great matchup against the Bulls. Harris is averaging .88 fantasy points per minute without those guys on the floor this season. Harris has played at least 29 minutes in three of the last four games, and has over 30 fantasy points in two of those games. I don’t love the value options on this slate right now, and think I will take the minute floor of some of these Nets.

Spencer Dinwiddie

Charlotte Hornets
4/09/18, 11:28 AM ET

Extra Minutes Available Because Of Injury

The Nets will be without Whitehead, LeVert (doubtful), and it sounds like they’re shutting down Carroll for the rest of the regular season. Russell has only played 30+ minutes once in the last ten games, and I would highly doubt the extra minutes to go to him. I would expect Dinwiddie and Harris to play some extra minutes, and they draw a great matchup against the Bulls. Dinwiddie has a 20.8% usage rate with those guys off the floor, which is actually a downgrade to his normal usage rate (21.7%). With that said, his fantasy points per minute go up .02, and he’s averaging 1.02 fantasy points per minute.

Tyrone Wallace

New Orleans Pelicans
4/09/18, 11:19 AM ET

Increased Role Tonight

With the Clippers officially out of the playoff race, it sounds like there will be some guys sitting tonight. Lou Williams is doubtful, Austin Rivers is questionable, Danilo Gallinari is out, and Milos Teodosic is out. With all of those guys off the floor, Wallace has a 23% usage rate and he’s averaging .98 fantasy points per minute. With only a couple of games left, I’d expect the Clippers to play Wallace a lot and see if they want to bring him back next season. He has some nice upside here, and I think he has a 30 minute floor.

Josh Jackson

Toronto Raptors
4/08/18, 8:40 PM ET

Josh Jackson ruled out Sunday

The already depleted Suns will now be without Josh Jackson on Sunday. Jackson said earlier he would try and give it a go tonight, but the Suns are thinking about the NBA lottery at this point.
