Mario Hezonja, Jonathan Isaac starting alongside Augustin, Vucevic and Simmons
Despite the fact that he’s starting, it still appears likely that Isaac will be held to somewhere in the neighborhood of 18-25 minutes if Frank Vogel’s comments from earlier in the week are any indication. He had stated then that he wanted to keep Isaac’s minutes in line with what he had seen over the previous two games – 15 and 17.5 minutes. It’s probably safe to expect a modest hike from those figures given the injuries, but expectations for Isaac’s DFS upside should still be held in check. Regardless, given his price he’s a potential late slate punt play. Hezonja and Simmons are elite values with Vucevic setting up as one of the top overall plays.
As reported by: Josh Robbins Other tagged players: Jonathan IsaacMaurice Harkless will play Friday; likely to start
Harkless will return to the Blazers lineup tonight and per Terry Stotts, he’s “likely” to start. That would figure to push Evan Turner back to the bench and out of DFS consideration. Harkless is an option as a late-slate dart-throw in GPPs, but the floor remains very low.
As reported by: Mike FreemanD.J. Augustin available to play Friday
Augustin was questionable due to a sprained ankle, but he’s available to play tonight against the Kings. Shelvin Mack was set to start had Augustin been inactive, so look for Mack to take on his normal 18-20 minute role off the bench. With Gordon/Fournier out, it’s certainly possible that Augustin is leaned on a little more heavily, but it’s more likely that Simmons/Hezonja get the majority of the value that the two aforementioned players leave behind. Vucevic, Simmons and Hezonja are all elite late-slate targets.

As reported by: Indiana Pacers Twitter AccountAndre Iguodala and David West ruled out Friday
Andre Iguodala and David West will both miss tonight’s game against Portland. JaVale McGee and Kevon Looney will see some more minutes, with West out of the lineup. Looney is not a recommend DFS target for tonight, but McGee could be worth a look in a GPP. He had 33 & 25 FDP in his last two games. Look for Quinn Cook, Nick Young, and Shaun Livingston to all get some extra run, with Andre Iguodala out. All three players are GPP options for tonight’s slate.
As reported by: Mark Medina via Twitter Other tagged players: David WestDe'Aaron Fox and Willie Cauley-Stein ruled out Friday
De’Aaron Fox and Willie Cauley-Stein will both miss tonight’s game with the Magic. With Cauley-Stein being out, Zach Randolph and Kosta Koufos will benefit most. Of the two, Koufos is the preferred DFS option for tonight. Garrett Temple and Frank Mason should see an uptick in minutes, with Fox out. Mason, in particular is a strong value play tonight. Last game, he finished with over 30 FDP.
As reported by: James Ham via Twitter Other tagged players: Willie Cauley-SteinDwight Buycks and Stanley Johnson listed out Friday
Dwight Buycks and Stanley Johnson will both miss tonight’s game against the Bulls. With Johnson out, James Ennis and Luke Kennard with both see some extra run, although neither profiles as a solid per-minute contributor. Both Ennis and Kennard played over 30 minutes last game, with Johnson out. Langston Galloway will likely receive most of Buycks’ minutes, and there’s a chance Jameer Nelson cracks the rotation.
As reported by: Detroit Pistons via Gamenotes Other tagged players: Stanley JohnsonIncreased Usage Because of Injuries
Because of all of Orlando’s injuries, Jonathon Simmons could benefit immensely and becomes a really good GPP play against the Kings tonight. When Simmons is on the floor without Gordon and Fournier, he has a 30% usage rate, which is a 7.8% usage bump for him. His average fantasy points per minute also goes up .13 over his season average. Simmons is one of my favorite plays on the slate tonight.
