Sean Kilpatrick (hamstring) upgraded to probable for Tuesday; Joe Harris (shoulder) remains out
Kilpatrick has missed the last seven games due to a strained hamstring but is expected to play on Tuesday against the Sixers. Kilpatrick will likely remain in a reserve role and his salary has not really dipped during his absence. Kilpatrick was playing well before he got injured and his absence has mostly led to Randy Foye playing 26+ minutes. Foye will see a reduced role with Kilpatrick back in the lineup and is pretty much an auto-fade. Kilpatrick is a viable GPP option but with eight games on the slate, he’s not a foundational piece. Joe Harris remains out and is out indefinitely.

Brandon Ingram (right patella tendinitis) doubtful for Tuesday
Brandon Ingram missed last night’s game since his knee was sore due to tendinitis. Ingram has been playing major minutes for the Lakers and it’s likely a direct cause. Corey Brewer started in his place and played a shade over 19 minutes. David Nwaba played 29 minutes and Tyler Ennis also saw 26 minutes with Ingram out. Jordan Clarkson hurt his finger last night but still played 37 minutes. Ennis was the only one that had a huge game and it was aided by four steals. It’s unlikely that Ennis can put up another huge performance against the Wizards but he’ll likely see about 24 minutes once again with Ingram expected to be out.

A trio of starters for the Hawks will miss their game on Tuesday as Millsap will miss his sixth game in a row with a knee injury while Sefolosha will sit out his second straight game. Bazemore is also out and looks like he might be able to return on Wednesday for Atlanta. Ersan Ilyasova and Taurean Prince will be the biggest beneficiaries of this injury news.

Gordon Hayward doesn't take part in shootaround for Utah; remains questionable for tonight
Hayward remains questionable after not taking part in the morning shootaround for the Jazz. He’ll likely be a game-time decision and we’ll update you as soon as we learn more of his status. If he can’t go, Joe Ingles would be the biggest beneficiary and a viable DFS option.

The veteran Indiana center is out for at least a few days including their game on Tuesday against Minnesota. He sprained his ankle yesterday and x-rays came back negative but he experienced a lot of swelling leading the team to rule him out for tomorrow. No one benefits enough to become a viable DFS option as Jefferson’s role has been limited off the bench.

Korver returned for a couple of games from his left foot injury but it is acting up again and he will not play tonight when the Cavaliers face the Spurs. Iman Shumpert is also listed as questionable. J.R. Smith should get all the minutes he can handle tonight with the status of those two and is a viable DFS option on this six-game slate.

Bullock has a negligible role in the Pistons rotation and will miss tonight’s game against the Knicks. It could mean a few more minutes for the point guard duo of Ish Smith and Reggie Jackson but the impact is minimal.

Cousins missed the teams last game over the weekend and is considered a game-time decision for their game tonight against the Utah Jazz. Even if he is able to go, it’s a tough match up against a Jazz team that is top 3 at every DvP metric. Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday would receive usage bumps with Cousins out while Dante Cunningham would likely get the start. Cunningham is not a viable option, even as a starter.

Ingram will not play in tonight’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers after previously being listed as questionable on the Lakers’ injury report with right patella tendinitis. Ingram stated following Friday’s contest that he planned to play tonight, but ultimately, the team decided to hold him out as a precaution. In his absence, Corey Brewer will receive the starting nod at small forward. Ingram has consistently been seeing north of 35 minutes of playing time a night, so there will certainly be plenty of minutes to be had by whoever draws the start at small forward unless Walton decides to utilize a committee approach, which is likely. If that ends up being the case, Nick Youg will likely reenter the rotation in at least some capacity to split minutes with Brewer and David Nwaba.

Gordon Hayward (quad) and Shelvin Mack (ankle) questionable for Monday
Hayward and Mack have officially been listed as questionable for tomorrow’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans due to their respective ailments, while Derrick Favors will remain sidelined with his knee injury. Mack had been bumped from the rotation even prior to his injury stint, so his status does not do much to move the needle of anyone in the Jazz rotation. Hayward’s status, on the other hand, would free up a ton of usage for the likes of Rodney Hood, Rudy Gobert, and George Hill in the starting unit. Should Hayward be ruled out, Joe Johnson or Joe ingles are the likeliest beneficiaries to draw the start at small forward in his place.

The absence of Cousins from the lineup is obviously a tremendous bump to the projected fantasy value of Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday since a large amount of usage and fantasy production will need to be diverted elsewhere. Dante Cunningham will draw the start at power forward in Cousins’ place, which slides Davis over to the center spot. In fact, Davis (38.8%), Holiday (26.8%), and Tim Frazier (17.3%) all own at least a +3.1% usage rate differential with Cousins off the court since the All-Star break. Clearly, Davis and Holiday are elite options in all formats with Cousins unable to suit up for Sunday’s contest against Denver.

Gasol will not play in tonight’s game against the Golden State Warriors after previously being listed as questionable on the Grizzlies’ injury report with a strained left foot. Zach Randolph will likely receive the starting nod in his place alongside JaMychal Green in the frontcourt. Surprisingly, Mike Conley hasn’t historically seen a bump in usage rate or fantasy production with Gasol off the court this season, but Zach Randolph (33.5%), Vince Carter (18.7%), and Troy Daniels (28.4%) all own at least +2.7% usage rate differential in the aforementioned scenario. Based solely on expected playing time, Randolph and Carter are the preferred options of the trio, while Conley could be worth a look in tournaments, as he will be the primary reason Memphis is able to keep this matchup against Golden State within striking distance.

Ellis will be inserted into the Pacers starting lineup for tonight’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers, which will send C.J. Miles back to the bench to assume a reserve role. Ellis finally eclipsed the 30-minute plateau and started the second half in Friday’s loss to the Denver Nuggets, so it’s realistic to expect him to continue seeing that type of playing time, or slightly more, as the full-time starter. Ellis’ usage with the starting unit will surely take a hit, but the expected minute bump will more than cancel that out. His price remains extremely affordable across the industry, making Ellis viable in all formats at a typically shallow shooting guard position.
