Eric Bledsoe listed as questionable in Suns game notes
It still seems fairly likely that Bledsoe takes the floor tonight – there hasn’t been much speculation that he’s going to miss time – but he’s tentatively listed as questionable in the Suns game notes due to a hyper-extended left knee. If he’s unable to go, Tyler Ulis will become a plug-and-play option across the board, while Devin Booker would see an uptick in usage. Per CourtIQ, Booker leads the Suns in usage at 31.2% with Bledsoe off the court, a +2.0% differential from his season total. T.J. Warren, Alan Williams, Alex Len and Derrick Jones all pick up at least a +1.0% usage differential without Bledsoe. We’ll continue to update this situation as we inch closer to tip-off.

Chandler Parsons (rest) ruled out for tonight's game vs. LAC
Parsons will get a “planned recovery day” due to his offseason knee surgery but should be back for Saturday’s game against the Hawks. James Ennis will likely jump into the starting lineup and is a viable GPP punt option. Ennis has started multiple times this season when Parsons has been out but has not consistently produced. He’ll need to play over 28 minutes to really return a sizeable profit on his minimum salary. Vince Carter also sees a slight bump with Parsons out of the lineup but he also is too risk in a cash game environment.

Brandon Rush (illness) probable for Friday's game against the Warriors
Brandon Rush was unable to play on Wednesday due to an illness and Shabazz Muhammad replaced him in the starting lineup. Muhammad had his best game in about a month and played 26 minutes. Muhammad had a 30% usage rate against the Clippers and continued his hot shooting over the past week. Muhammad has shot 50% or better in five straight games and will be an elite punt option if Rush is limited or kept as a reserve.

Nicolas Batum suffered a mild ankle sprain against Miami on Wednesday and was only able to play 31 minutes. Batum is being listed as probable for Friday’s game against Orlando. If Batum is limited or ruled out tomorrow, Jeremy Lamb will likely jump into his role. Johnny O’Bryant also suffered an ankle sprain last night and has already been ruled out of Friday’s tilt. The Hornets are hopeful that Frank Kaminsky will rejoin them after missing a couple games due to a shoulder injury. If Kaminsky and O’Byrant are out, Cody Zeller will be logging major minutes with Miles Plumlee also on the shelf.

The veteran guard has not played since March 4th but appears to be on track to play in the Bulls next game as he took part in practice today. Paul Zipser will return to the bench and Jimmy Butler will see a decline in usage with Wade back.

Jahlil Okafor will start tonight for 76ers against Portland
After missing the last two games, Okafor will play and start tonight for Philadelphia against Portland. The rest of the starting lineup includes T.J. McConnell, Nik Stauskas, Robert Covington, and Dario Saric. Okafor will likely have his playing time monitored so he’s a risky DFS option. His return is also a hit to the value of Richaun Holmes.

Parker will miss tonight’s game with the Thunder due to back stiffness, although it’s possible the Spurs are just taking it easy on the veteran on the back leg of a B2B. While he didn’t see a ton of court time last night – just 16 minutes – the Spurs were able to rest Leonard and Aldridge last night and it’s pretty clear that a playoff run is the primary concern for San Antonio. Leonard and Alridge are elite targets in any format this evening, but Parker’s absence does put Patty Mills into the GPP discussion. Dejounte Murray will also likely pick up extra court time, but neither he nor Mills are going to be recommended cash game targets even on a small slate. Manu Ginobili’s absence does bode well for Mills, who will be the primary ball handler with the second unit. Expect Kawhi to run the show.

Anderson is out with a knee injury and the veteran Ginobili is being given the night off for rest purposes. Jonathan Simmons is the biggest beneficiary with Danny Green and Patty Mills also likely seeing some additional playing time.

We weren’t really expecting him to play today anyway but the team sent him back to the hotel with an illness and it seems very unlikely that he will play tonight against the Pelicans. Kyle Korver has also been ruled out which means Deron Williams should see a boost in playing time – he is an intriguing, but high-risk option tonight.

Bradley will have his minute restriction of 25 minutes raised to 30 minutes for tonight’s game against the Golden State Warriors, while Jonas Jerebko has been cleared to play after previously being listed as questionable on the Celtics’ injury report due to an illness that forced him to miss one game. Additionally, James Young has been ruled out with a bruised tailbone, though the noteworthiness of his absence is diminished by the return of Jerebko and Al Horford to the Boston lineup, as his vacated minutes should be mostly accounted for by that and the increase in Bradley’s expected minute allotment. Horford will reclaim his spot in the starting lineup, which will send Jaylen Brown back to the bench to resume his reserve role.

David Lee and Jonathon Simmons confirmed as starters for LaMarcus Aldridge (rest) and Kawhi Leonard (rest) tonight
Lee and Simmons will be inserted into the Spurs starting lineup for tonight’s game against the Sacramento Kings in place of the resting LaMaracus Aldridge and Kawhi Leonard. This lineup move has been expected since the Spurs announced that Aldridge and Leonard would be rested for Wednesday’s contest. Lee is the more consistent fantasy point per minute producer, but both forwards are viable options in tournaments on tonight’s slate, while Lee carries some appeal as a cash game target for his price tag across the industry. Taking a look at the RotoGrinders CourtIQ tool, Pau Gasol really jumps off the page, as he owns a positive 9.3% usage rate differential (31.7%) with both Aldridge and Leonard off the court this season, while Lee also sees a substantial boost, posting a positive 5.7% usage rate differential (22.8%).

Allen will be available to play off the bench in tonight’s game against the Detroit Pistons after previously being listed as questionable on the Pacers’ injury report with a sore left knee that has forced him to miss two consecutive games. Paul George had been some additional playing time at the power forward spot with Allen unavailable and Thaddeus Young still working his way back from a wrist injury while playing limited minutes. It should be expected for a majority of the playing time at the four to subside for George, as Allen should immediately absorb those vacated minutes assuming he is a full go for Wednesday’s contest. However, Allen is still not a viable option on a huge 11-game slate.

Hernangomez will be reinserted into the Knicks starting lineup for tonight’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks, sending Lance Thomas back to the bench to resume his reserve role. This lineup change will also slide Kristaps Porzingis back to his normal power forward position, as Knicks head coach Jeff Hornacek mentioned that he likes Hernangomez and Porzingis’ chemistry starting alongside each other in the frontcourt. If Hernangomez can approach minutes in the upper-20s or low-30s, he could return some nice value on his mid-tier price tag across the industry. Carmelo Anthony will also return to the starting lineup after resting Monday, which will send Ron Baker back to the bench to resume his reserve role. Anthony is a more than viable tournament option on tonight’s slate against a Milwaukee squad that has consistently struggle to lock down opposing forwards, ranking 29th and 18th in DvP against opposing small and power forwards respectively. The presence of Carmelo in the lineup is also a significant knock to the fantasy value of Derrick Rose, who traditionally sees a substantial boost in usage and fantasy production with him off the court this season.

Wilson Chandler leads the Nuggets in usage with Jokic, Gallinari and Faried off the floor this season, and he’s an elite target in all formats this evening. Chandler’s usage sits at 25.7% with those three off the court, a +1.6% bump from his season total. He’s also averaging 1.12 FPPM in that scenario, which gives him an excellent shot at returning value against the Wizards. He’s not the only player who picks up value – Mason Plumlee should see upwards of 30 minutes on Wednesday, which makes him one of the best mid-range plays at the center spot in late contests. Will Barton will also take on added responsibility at the SF position with Danilo Gallinari ruled out. Chandler, Plumlee, Barton and Harris are all very strong plays in late slates.

With Rush out of action, Shabazz Muhammad will draw the start and we could also see either Tyus Jones or Nemanja Bjelica pick up some extra court time as well. Muhammad becomes a viable minimum priced punt play in late slates, but this news doesn’t add a ton of intrigue to either Jones or Bjelica. The outlook for the other four starters doesn’t change much as a result.
